>1440p is more taxing on your gpu
>1440p is most expensive
>1440p requires scaling if you don't have good vision or a monitor a foot from your face
>there's no other native media to 1440p besides games and streaming videos
yet every gamer now-a-days screeches about it
>n-nooooooooo you don't understand I NEED A 27" 1440p MONITOR FOR MY FURRY FUTA SIMULATOR! GIVE ME A 3070 REEEEEEEEEEEEE

you ever lived dude
Is is true that 1440p is a 4:3 aspect ratio?
No, any 2560x1440 is 16:9
Berry true, I've had shit computers all my life so I just want to see something that isn't oatmeal
Normies want 4k. Even on monitors, when you LITERALLY cannot tell the difference between 1440p and 4k unless you're using a 32" monitor that foe some reason is less than 2 feet from your face.
>1440p is more taxing on your gpu
so don't have a toaster
>1440p is most expensive
so don't be a poorgay
>1440p requires scaling if you don't have good vision or a monitor a foot from your face
so don't have shit vision
>there's no other native media to 1440p besides games and streaming videos
because 1440p is a midstepper's cope, we use 4K in the current year (2000 + 20 + 2).
You're still going to get shit fps in lots of games.
Are you confusing 1440p with 2160p
I get constant 144fps in anything released prior to 2018. I get 120ish in more demanding games and about 90-100ish in open worlds ala RDR2.
protip: you can tweak graphics settings within the game to increase performance without sacrificing resolution.
does a game with lowered settings look better @ 1440p vs the same game with higher settings @ 1080p? assume both are using optimal screen sizes.
>software developer
I use 1440p monitor for the pixel density, I can fit more code on screen at a readable size than I could with a 1080p screen.
I play all my vidya at 1080p and watch my anime at 720p
is 1440p good for my 3060 ti?
yar
glad Im not autistic about resolution
I'm autistic about motion, 1080p any day if I can have crystal clear motions, I'm so sick and tired of motion blur. I can't wait for 1000hz and rolling scan bfi with 2000 nits to compensate for any loss of brightness.
1080pleb cope thread
if you don't have a setup with both a 1440p/144hz AND a 4k60 panel, you're a peasant
1440p is a poorgay cope too, 4k or bust
