After Canto 4 and Canto 6, I'm beginning to ease up on it. I've already accepted it as part of the main entry to the series. If they do push out a new product with all the gacha money, then it'll be worth it.

Sometimes later days in LoboCorp and a reception/realization in Ruina had almost the same duration to complete because of the ''difficulty'' .

is there a ranking on what is generally believed to be the best story arcs? i only played partway through library of ruina up to a bit after defeating the red woman, warp train and willingly being turned into clowns were horrifying to me but everything else was kind of meh. also am i missing out on anything if i start playing limbus company now as a fomogay?

The best of the best is LobCorp, no doubts about it. Endgame Ruina (especially one of the bad endings), Index and Warp Train were great.
For Limbus it goes 6 > 4 > 3 > 5 > 1 > 2, with 6 and 4 being on par with some of the better Ruina arcs. Though 4 suffers from poor battle pacing.
For Ruina? The train, Philip, the Index, Liu association, and the entirety of the endgame are the best all around.
And there's really no FOMO in limbus since it's all for the story which you can do anytime, unless you want every single thing in the game and at max level or whatever.
No, people will generally agree on most of the pros and cons of each arc but end up placing them in totally different orders because of how they weigh those.
Usually for the ranking of Cantos, 2 is mostly on the bottom followed by 1. Canto 3 is mostly followed by personal choice since it can also be scored low but appear to be one of the top ones by some people, 6 is sitting at the top and 4 and 5 are changing places most of the time below Canto 6's position.
