enemies are a joke but on hard mode some kill you really fast and this guy is the first curve ball in your hard mode playthrough, plus its hilariously exploitable.
>this guy is the first curve ball in your hard mode playthrough
oh really? it isn't the 2 shot bandits between the training camp and gran soren which i've died to a dozen times before switching to normal?
Isn't that sort of thing the most fun? Fighting an uphill battle and winning is a good feeling. Really makes you feel like a warrior.

i like knocking shit down as a warrior, which is too easy on normal and impossible most of the time on hard

So far I've played Mage, Sorcerer and Mage Knight or whatever it's called during my Hard Mode playthrough. The latter is a nice chance of pace from the former two who are just sitting back and spamming spells. However, Magic Cannon is my guilty pleasure skill.
>cast enchant on my blunt weapon >cast Magic Cannon >send a frickton of enchanted projectiles downrange, pulverizing any and all mobs while even doing some decent damage on larger enemies

Really? It's pretty easy when you equip barbed nails and the knockdown augments

exactly. barbed nails are essential to play warrior effectively. no other class needs to waste their ring slots to be enjoyed.

Is it really a waste when you only need one ring slot for warrior anyway? Just having one that upgrades my big arc is all i need.

Hard is a meme difficulty anyway, play on normal with a mod to slow leveling.
I don't know man, to me that is as cringe as them drawing video game characters on your headstone. I mean, that's it? He liked football? That's all his life amounted to?
A lot of people get shit on by those bandits early on in their playthroughs, which usually results in them leaving that area for later and consequently failing Quina's quest.
I thought i was going to an area i shouldn't be in yet when i first encountered them. My pawns did not stand a chance and i was at like half health i believe so the archer just destroyed me instantly.
I hate this kind of Drakengard/Musou difficulty where you can breeze through thouands of mooks and then stumble onto one enemy that will instantly body you and if you want to defeat them you have to go through a tedious fight where you chip them down and have to dodge all their attacks.
What enemy is that? I grinded a bit before doing the main story line and by the time I reached critters like dragons I was already OP enough to solo them (well, my pawns being meat shields helped, I suppose).

go on
IS THAT A MOTHERFRICKING DRAGON'S DOGMA REFERENCE?!
why are people trying to meme this scene so much?
pretty memorable part of the game. that one bandit looks like any other but will kill you in one thrust
Never had a problem with that guy.
Now, the fighter with the tusked helmet between here and witchwood, on the other hand...
oh... I played mage and just kinda ran around and rezzed people until he died. thought the balancing in the game just sucked and got annoyed.

This guy isn't even a problem, it's the fighter that stands behind him that kicks your ass.
NEVER SHOULD OF COME HERE

idk how anyone does warrior on hard. any other vocation is fine but warrior on hard is fricking european extreme

Level 52 on hard mode here. Nothing pisses me off more than archers in this game. Fricking dragons are easier to fight than a gaggle of archers.
because people barely have any creativity these days so they beat memes to death trying to get them to catch on
share your memes, meme master
I never claimed to be a "meme master"
and if I'm posting one it's going to be pertinent to the thread rather than trying to be that
They're recasting Chris Pine?

Whats the story here?

The natural progression of the start of the game leads to almost every player being fricking annihilated by that first group of bandits.
because cousin larry is the first boss in the game
It's a certified hood classic.
