Depends on how deep you want to go. Basic gameplay on screen that you talk over? Just ensure the video is lined up like you want, put the audio in the right places, easy. Do you want to cycle through several different bits of gameplay at different parts of the game? Takes longer but still doable, especially if you us it to present examples. Are you hyper autistic and need to play through again for more content, want to make more edits with memes thrown in, and need to do multiple voice recordings to make sure it all sounds right? Takes even longer, but again, doable.
It comes down to how cumbersome your software is. I used Videopad for awhile and I thought it was pretty easy (although I also never did anything very complex with it), but I eventually switched to Adobe and had no idea how to do anything.
