They are remarkably similar, CP 2077 just does everything worse. Deus Ex's mechanics work for doing stealth on hand crafted maps, not a 100 hour long GTA style open world shooter.

Massively disappointing when the game arbitrarily blocks you from exploring further because the story doesn't require it yet.
Their main objective should be to actually live up to the original, then figure out the rest from there, but I'm happy they might give it another shot.

Now if you're gonna waste time and resources trying to rewrite stuff and "fix" it then don't even bother. The purpose should be on honing your craft and use as much as possible with what is there so you don't waste time reinventing the wheel.
My argument about Cyberpunk is that Cyberpunk feels like a Far Cry from Ubisoft with a souless open world that you can't interact for shit and on top of that just dialogue trees to give the illusion of choice that only some will impact the ending. Easily the most disappointing game that I've ever tried.
It's easily one of the worst games that I've ever tried. Disappointing story too, after the prologue and Act 1 I really couldn't continue and I didn't feel like that Jackie's death was impactful as the game wants you to make you believe. Especially considering that you barely pass time with him in the first place.
Mankind Divided was 6 years ago. Even if they start making a new game right now, it'll be at least another 3 years until it's released. That's 9 years - practically an eternity. There's little chance it'll be a sequel. More likely they'll go for a remake, or another soft reboot.

Honestly, a remake would only serve as a proof of concept the Devs are capable enough for a sequel.
Now if you're gonna waste time and resources trying to rewrite stuff and "fix" it then don't even bother. The purpose should be on honing your craft and use as much as possible with what is there so you don't waste time reinventing the wheel.

My argument about Cyberpunk is that Cyberpunk feels like a Far Cry from Ubisoft with a souless open world that you can't interact for shit and on top of that just dialogue trees to give the illusion of choice that only some will impact the ending. Easily the most disappointing game that I've ever tried.

It's easily one of the worst games that I've ever tried. Disappointing story too, after the prologue and Act 1 I really couldn't continue and I didn't feel like that Jackie's death was impactful as the game wants you to make you believe. Especially considering that you barely pass time with him in the first place.
Mankind Divided was 6 years ago. Even if they start making a new game right now, it'll be at least another 3 years until it's released. That's 9 years - practically an eternity. There's little chance it'll be a sequel. More likely they'll go for a remake, or another soft reboot.
That would be longer than the hiatus after Invisible War.

The first game was a good stealth game with an interesting story revolving around human augmentation, the second game took that and used it as toilet paper, there's no hope for Deux Ex.

Make a solid 5 or 6 city blocks worth of space to explore for 3 or 4 cities with a rich story in each, a lot of vents to crawl through, and meaningful choices that will close off/open certain quests depending on what you do which will make multiple playthroughs basically required. That's Deus Ex players are looking for, not some low-rent GTA knockoff.
