Oblivion was my favorite too, the combat in all TSE games suck so skyBlack folk can't use that as a reason why its better. >most memorable music, npcs, quest storylines >still has the fun spell creation system like from morrowind >Better immersion than morrowind because you don't have giant text dumps every 15 seconds >B-but fast travel!
Just don't use it >B-but muh scaling!
Just level correctly or mod it or don't overlevel >B-but...
Shut the frick up
skyrim is worse than oblivion in pretty much every way. awful realistic art style, awful movement and combat, same problems with level scaling, same problems with dungeons, infinitely worse quests. aside from graphical fidelity and abundance of mods, i cant think of a single thing that skyrim does better than oblivion or morrowind
Absolutely wrong. Oblivion has much worse dungeons, much worse world design, much worse level scaling, you are fricking moronic if you think they're the same.
Oblivion dungeons are so obviously worse to the point that it's fricking ridiculous that you're trying to convince anyone they're not. We played the fricking game, you moronic cretin.
I used to, even though I ended up liking Morrowind the most I still liked skyrim. But now, I don't hate it or even particularity dislike it, but I just feel zero desire to ever play it again. Even modded. I don't have that with the other two Todd TES games.
By saying you love Skyrim because of the mods, you automatically concede that everything Todd directed is a piece of shit that required plastering over with a billion mods
Consolegays will never ever understand this.
It really is amazing in VR. I had a bunch of mods installed on mine, Whiterun was overhauled to HD and had beautiful trees and all sorts of added shit.
then I had mods for the player house interior that looked absolutely amazing. then just walking through the forest/river areas is really cool too, so much detail and nice lighting. sword/shield combat was pretty decent in VR, but archery was especially cool. I still like the vanilla game as well though.
I've started a frickton of playthroughs but never finished every single one because of mods, especially the Live Another Life one
I just don't care about the main quest lmao
every time I try to play it I do the dark brotherhood quest and get bored halfway through it and wanna just play the Oblivion dark brotherhood quests again. i've never done the main quest past talking to the greybards. it's all kinda of mind numbing.
Played it for like 40 hours until I realized literally every single quest was a barely disguised variation of "go into this cave". which you know, would be like okay for a lootgame (which is what skyrim is) but not for an rpg. at least with mods you can make it kinda fun. morrowind was the last good game bethesda has made. starfield will be the exact same game as this with like zero improvements, like everything since skyrim.
Skyrim is boring as frick and every quest is exactly the same. I fell for the hype at the time. Stopped playing it after about 60 hours, never completed it. Last time I played it was almost 11 years ago, don't think I'll ever play it again.
It's cool during the beginning then the horrendous gameplay consisting of swinging foam swords and having to do dungeons made out of one straight corridor makes you uninstall.
I can't believe morons are preordering starfield after Skyrim, fallout 4 and 76. I can't.
I do
Skyrim remake when?
>Skyrim Very Special Legendary Masterpiece 20th Anniversary Edition
Oblivion was better
>Oblivion
Fricking cringe
Agreed. How the frick do people play old games and live with themselves?
>implying skyrim is not old
By not being zoomers
Skyrim is 2x as old as Oblivion was when Skyrim came out
only midwits think oblivion is bad
Only 360babby zillennials think Oblivion is anything other than a piece of fricking shit
cope midwit i played morrowind before you were born and oblivion is ludo
Oblivion is Skyrim but worse in every aspect, except for maybe the quests.
Morrowind is undeniably pure kino and the best Elder Scrolls but you are delusional if you think Oblivion is better than Skyrim
Oblivion was my favorite too, the combat in all TSE games suck so skyBlack folk can't use that as a reason why its better.

Shut the frick up
>Oblivion
immersion than morrowind
>Defends level scaling
>1900 hours in morrowind
>2200 hours in oblivion
>71 hours in skyrim
i don't
I honestly don't. Morrowind > oblivion > skyrim
Morrowind>Skyrim>Oblivion
This is the only correct ranking.
skyrim is worse than oblivion in pretty much every way. awful realistic art style, awful movement and combat, same problems with level scaling, same problems with dungeons, infinitely worse quests. aside from graphical fidelity and abundance of mods, i cant think of a single thing that skyrim does better than oblivion or morrowind
skyrim bugs were better than oblivion
Absolutely wrong. Oblivion has much worse dungeons, much worse world design, much worse level scaling, you are fricking moronic if you think they're the same.
Midwit
moron
>much worse dungeons
nothing is worse than skyrim's dungeons. not only are they the worst in the series but possibly the worst dungeons in any AAA RPG
Oblivion dungeons are so obviously worse to the point that it's fricking ridiculous that you're trying to convince anyone they're not. We played the fricking game, you moronic cretin.
Lakeview Manor is kino
I'm more of a Heljarchen Hall + Peaceful Hearthfire mod kind of guy
I'm more of a hobo shack on the imperial city waterfront kind of man myself
I'm more of a tabletop elder scrolls gamer myself.
Frick Skyrim, where are the whales?
From your Steam library
I always knew
You’ve always loved my games
no,IRL forest is better
if i want to fight a dragon i play Dark Souls
melee combat is boring and magic is ass, terrible game tbh
Skyrim comfy, not as comfy as Boston.
Yes i do.
I love my kids, I love my job, I love the USA, I love ceramics but I do NOT love Skyrim
I used to, even though I ended up liking Morrowind the most I still liked skyrim. But now, I don't hate it or even particularity dislike it, but I just feel zero desire to ever play it again. Even modded. I don't have that with the other two Todd TES games.

Normal skyrim is shit, modded skyrim is still shit. However modded skyrim VR is absolutely amazing and all the flaws of the game become tolerable.

not anymore
How we feeling about the redemption arc Ralph bros?
Ethan Ralph is 4 things. Let me explain. Women are dogs. Yaaaaaaaaaaah. Cause you see. Yaaaaaaah. The camera loves you baby, Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
every time I try to play it I do the dark brotherhood quest and get bored halfway through it and wanna just play the Oblivion dark brotherhood quests again. i've never done the main quest past talking to the greybards. it's all kinda of mind numbing.
Lakeview is so comfy.
The first thing I thought back in 2011 when I first launched the game was how shit it was compared to oblivion.
What mods do i need for the dicky experience? Do they work in vr?Please good sir
I'm actually thinking about replaying it again
just wish there was a mod that completely replaces the main quest, doesnt have to be a huge epic storyline but something interesting
Modder questlines are shit 99% of the time.
true, sadly
even when the writing is decent, the voice acting usually ruins it (though hopefully AI will make that less of a problem)
i liked a decent amount of the beyond bruma quests tbh
I enjoyed clockwork
sounds like it could be interesting, will bookmark
Vicn's questmod trilogy doesn't change the MQ, but it does continue it with a vastly superior original story
I do, I always end up coming back to it at some point despite its flaws its still an alright rpg.
Skyrim in VR with nude mods is legit
Played it for like 40 hours until I realized literally every single quest was a barely disguised variation of "go into this cave". which you know, would be like okay for a lootgame (which is what skyrim is) but not for an rpg. at least with mods you can make it kinda fun. morrowind was the last good game bethesda has made. starfield will be the exact same game as this with like zero improvements, like everything since skyrim.

i did for about 10 hours
anyone got a good wabbajack modlist?
TOYMY
