A large majority of time time bots I've seen join matches they're nearly immediately voted out. The main issue is getting hackers with multi-shot/crit hacks voted out or groups of 4-6 going around votekicking casual servers empty.
Since the update to allow both teams to votekick simultaneously, I haven't had a single match where bots got above 1-2 per team, and were always kicked within a minute.

This is still a problem, and often the only solution is the requeue. However, since they are real people, they are much more limited than the huge botnets swarming casual before.
I'm not saying everything is 100% perfect, but the improvement from that one patch a few weeks ago was such a massive improvement that it feels like it's only a matter of time before more fixes come in. It only took a month for the hashtag to make finding a game full of real players 10x easier.

Not necessarily the spin jump, but when you first rev you deal half damage, and it takes a second to ramp up to full.
Blame the tomislav. Valve would probably just have brought the spin-time back up if they hadn't put tomislav in the game.
As a result of the spin up damage nerf it made Heavy far less capable of being played super aggressively by going balls deep right into enemy lines so he feels far more sluggish to play now. The spin up nerf fricked the spin jump because you don't deal full damage once you pull it off like you could prior like
stated, so to prevent getting fricked you have to instead play it much slower by staying revved constantly while turning corners. This also leads to him being a sitting duck most of the time now. He's just flat out not fun to play anymore, at least to someone who enjoyed playing Heavy pre spin nerf.

That single rampup nerf massively changed the way Heavy plays and ever since then he just feels like a slog to play, at least in my opinion. Even though spin jumping was busted I had a ton more fun being able to play super aggressively as Heavy instead of playing as a huge plodding target. Oh well.

Spy is still viable, he hasn’t had core mechanics nerfs like Pyro and apparently heavy, just weapon nerfs which everyone has has besides soldier, sniper, and medic.
Spawn wallhacks fricked him a fair bit. Despite the complaints in this thread heavy remains a viable pick whenever rollout isn't an issue. Pyro and Spy on the other hand get consistently placed in the lowest tier for effectiveness.
idk I never really struggle to get kills with spy even with a good enemy team but if you are on the losing side then Heavy is nearly unplayable unless enemies have no snipers and spies. Pyro I’m okay at even with the core mechanic nerfs but that’s because I’ve played him way more than others. Hitting flares is really hard now constantly since they fricked with airblast and since afterburn has variable duration with flamethrowers valve basically made it so the only real way to play consistently as pyro is to flare spam to ensure you get max duration. With spy you can still be consistent and facestabs are still possible. They even gave him a small movement buff a couple years ago too.

Its still a straight upgrade because of the rollers and shorter fuse but it's still something i guess.
The casual matchmaking update ruined pubs. The whole best of 3 setup with fixed teams is meant for a competitive structure and not pubs. Getting teamwork in a pub environment might take more than 2 matches. The fixed team aspects makes people who are stuck with bad teams ragequit because they think it's beyond help, at the same time making it frustrating to people in turtling teams who can't switch to the other side. Steamrolls also cause ragequitting because players see it as a losing battle. There was nothing wrong with autobalance, team scrambling and old Valve pubs. If you thought team scrambling was a bad thing, you are juts stupid and didn't comprehend how badly it was needed

Don't run straight at them, don't attack until the team is not looking at you, if people start to notice you run and just hit your target again later when they forget about you

Scout is fun because of the speed.
What happened, it get nerfed? I have literally never owned this weapon because I'm F2P for 10 years and don't give a frick.
But I did enjoy the pre nerf loch n load. They should just keep the extra damage on that and make it 3 pipes. It should be the only "I will use this for direct hits" launcher in the game. All others should have shitty stock accuracy and be for roller spam as it was always meant to be.

This is actually a problem with it and I can only assume the only reason I dont see many pyros running around with it is that it honestly takes way too much effort when you can just use stock and get the same results faster with less effort.

always been a loose cannon + stock guy, and now i can add the iron bomber to that without having to worry about getting worse aim due to the hitbox being the same now.
IB is still probably going to be the best though, lack of rolly rollingtons is generally better in most situations.
