All the characters can be unlocked with the resources they give you play it before saying that. I just said it was the most generous gacha ever.

They are shit because of the business model, not the gameplay. Don't take this as me endorsing that game you posted or agreeing with you though, I'm just saying that before even looking at gameplay, they fail as games because of the business model first and the control scheme second.
Yes, all gacha games are bad. Even if we were to assume that this game has good gameplay, which it doesn't seem to have, the point is that a gacha game still retains the typical gacha systems, which get players addicted into playing something not for fun, but for mindlessly completing tasks, be it daily or not. It doesn't even matter if the game is pay to win, the way that the game constantly tries to persuade you into using it is already terrible enough.
A game that has these systems is bad. A game that doesn't isn't a gacha game. Therefore, all gacha games are bad.

Gacha games need:
Proper endgame. Ideally a competitive multiplayer one with tiers for how much you've spent. So you can have a whale cup or dolphin cup and so on.
No fricking mobile controls. Focus on controllers or K+M or get out.
Something to mitigate the 'Fox Grapes' effect where people who missed out on a character start coping by shitting on said character without ceasing and fricking up any discussion of the game.
