I remember going to a video games live concert when I was a kid and I had no idea that Tommy Tallarico would become such a pathetic person. Kinda sad how that memory is tainted now
He was a funny guy on G4, but I never really liked him as a person in the first place. Dude thought he was hot shit because he made the Earthworm Jim soundtracks which were good, but it's nothing that special and also because his cousin is Steve Tyler or something.
I never understood the love for him here. It's been pretty obvious since the early 2000s that he was a rank scumbag. Ganker used to get really fricking mad when you actually said it here though.
Well, guess you guys know now, at least.
I never kept up with him much at all. I could tell he had a bit of an ego at video games live but he came across as an otherwise fun guy at the time.

Bet you queers never played a single game from those consoles or the Sega System for that matter.

What are some classics from the Intellivision
The Colecovision
And the 2600

He-Man, Burger Time, Thunder Castle, and Tower of Doom are all fun from what little I've played of the Intellivision. Don't have a Colecovision yet. Demon Attack, Pressure Cooker, Tapper, Megamania, Tunnel Runner, Missile Command, Moon Patrol, and Secret Quest are all good fun on the 2600 off the top of my head, and that's not counting the homebrew scene. Vectrex is also rad as hell.

I'm a bit disappointed that Combat has not come up. Simple, but the tank PVP combat is not only still fun, but it was also a precursor to T-MEK which was another b***hing tank game later.

Combat's nice, but I'd say Battlezone and Robot Tank are the definitive tank games on the system.

Keep proving my point but maybe not keep sucking each other's microdicks.
What part of early on do you not understand zoomer? The Atari 2600 sold 30 million in its lifetime which was considered ridiculous back then, with the NES then going on to sell double that which was considered insane. Just because those numbers are barely break even now doesn't mean that was always the case.
Tommy Tallarico has never made a good soundtrack. He's basically spent almost 30 years riding off of Earthworm Jim's soundtrack even though nobody remembers a single song from Earthworm Jim beyond What the Heck because it's Night on Bald Mountain.
If you mean the MK music in general, that was Dan Forden. If you mean just the theme song, that was Praga Khan and Olivier Adams from the industrial band Lords of Acid for the Mortal Kombat album that came out around the same time as MK2.
lmao don't tell me this useless fricking looking console is dead. tell me what tommy did with the millions he wrung out of roblox for being compensated for the oof sound -- the deal could've gone to the amico to make it better, why wouldn't it?
That's because they've been selling nothing BUT those shitty Sega consoles for two fricking decades.
A Dreamcast 2 would absolutely sell 5 million stop bullshitting. Sega has a way better reputation today than Intellivision or Atari. Even if it were a severly underpowered console like thie Amico supposedly is I'd still guarantee Dreamcast 2 sells 5 million easy. Now I won't say it would sell 25 million or more but 5 million? That is nothing right there. A DC2 could easily do that.
How did people have hope for this thing again? Mobile-tier games, a terrible controller, and banking on the name of a console that nobody except coffin dodgers have nostalgia for.
Why didn't they just release a high quality replica OG Intellivision with a frickton of built in games and a good history/museum? Why do these companies think anyone's going to invest in expensive "retro...but new!" bullshit consoles and deal with yet another digital marketplace when they can just play these games on hardware they already own? What the frick is wrong with these people?
I realize that, but what I'm asking is do any of these companies (like the Atari people) actually believe people are going to buy and support these consoles?

>Why do these companies think anyone's going to invest in expensive "retro...but new!" bullshit consoles
If it were done right anon, I would definitely buy a console like this. Like lets say if Sega started to release a brand new model Genesis console that had maybe some digital downloads for games, proper cords for modern TV and also brand new games that got physical cart releases? Man I'd be all over that. It just depends really but Sega officially releasing brand new Genesis consoles in 2022 that were accurate or improved upon even better yeah I'd buy it. It was a great console.
Not going to some shithole country. I mean official releases. Not something Sega just okays. I mean something that would make headline news on these gaming sites and was official.

I mean. Idk its still official Sega hardware
Tectoy just makes it. It's just another factory
I remember going to a video games live concert when I was a kid and I had no idea that Tommy Tallarico would become such a pathetic person. Kinda sad how that memory is tainted now
Someone on Reddit said over 150 million was taken by amico
So he's even more of a c**t
He was a funny guy on G4, but I never really liked him as a person in the first place. Dude thought he was hot shit because he made the Earthworm Jim soundtracks which were good, but it's nothing that special and also because his cousin is Steve Tyler or something.
I never kept up with him much at all. I could tell he had a bit of an ego at video games live but he came across as an otherwise fun guy at the time.
Oh he's an abosolute c**t
He once went on a rampage on Atari forums calling everyone communists and racists for not liking amico
I never understood the love for him here. It's been pretty obvious since the early 2000s that he was a rank scumbag. Ganker used to get really fricking mad when you actually said it here though.
Well, guess you guys know now, at least.
he's always been a c**t. he just makes good music.
Kinda sad how the Intellivision name is sullied now. It was a nice console for its time, and Intellivision Lives were a decent line of plug n plays.
What? The Intellivision sold horribly
It sold over 3 million units which was pretty good for that early on in the industry. The Intellivision II is a legitimately comfy unit too.
I mean Atari sold 26-30 million units
>It was a nice console for its time
may as well have the title "king of the landfill"
How much of that is just money laundering?
Why are you always such homosexuals about anything old that isn't Nintendo?
Because literally the only worthwhile console before the NES and Master system era was the Atari 2600
>literally
"opinion" safely disregarded.
homosexual
No, he's right. Only twitards and teenage girls say that word.
I'm being literal. it's the truth
The only console worth a damn from the 1st and 2nd generation is the Atari 2600
what does the 2600 have that's worth playing anymore?
Adventure
What about 10 minutes later when you're done with it?
You play it again
Missile Command, even better with the trak-ball hack.
If you're being literal, you don't announce it. It's implied.
You're the one using lispy limp wristed homosexual talk though 🙂
A word is just a word
Only a homosexual would put meaning behind it and project
How a word is used, or flagrantly misused in this instance, tells you a lot about somebody though. And I can tell you suck a lot of dick 🙂
because nothing before the NES's release is worth a damn anymore. The Master System has more pull than that entire generation of games combined.
Exactly

There are no games pre-NES that are worth playing. Even the arcade games of the time are shit.
Dig Dug is the only thing i'd be willing to give the time of day, and even that's just one or two plays every few years
Oh dude I fricking love dig dug
kys uneducated morons
>Why is Nintendogaf such homosexual about anything old that isn't Nintendo?
Reminder that nintendo had a second gen console no one gave a shit about
All of it
The companies that invested in amico all went under or have massive debt
so like...where did the money go?
It got stolen
The pockets of Tommy's razzle jeans.
To his Ferrari
3 million sold is terrible
What part of early on do you not understand zoomer? The Atari 2600 sold 30 million in its lifetime which was considered ridiculous back then, with the NES then going on to sell double that which was considered insane. Just because those numbers are barely break even now doesn't mean that was always the case.
I mean. Having no market share is not impressive.
Coleco had only 2 million sales
Its like the GameCube of it's time
Never meet your idols, or at least never go on their twitter page.
he disliked super mario 64 so he was always pathetic
Tommy Tallarico has never made a good soundtrack. He's basically spent almost 30 years riding off of Earthworm Jim's soundtrack even though nobody remembers a single song from Earthworm Jim beyond What the Heck because it's Night on Bald Mountain.
Didn't he make the mortal Kombat theme
If you mean the MK music in general, that was Dan Forden. If you mean just the theme song, that was Praga Khan and Olivier Adams from the industrial band Lords of Acid for the Mortal Kombat album that came out around the same time as MK2.
Oh huh
Forden has also made better music than Tallarico. MK's music is pretty good.
He made it for all versions or what? What are some of his kino tracks I need to listen to right now?
None
He made wild 9's so your post is immediately discarded.
That's not true, I remember most of the soundtracks and I think people remember stuff like
Sega CD version of For Pete's Sake is fricking great you goddamn philistine.
>going to a video games live concert
Hey the ff ones are great
Did you miss the part where I said I was a kid at the time?
>being a kid at the time
lmao don't tell me this useless fricking looking console is dead. tell me what tommy did with the millions he wrung out of roblox for being compensated for the oof sound -- the deal could've gone to the amico to make it better, why wouldn't it?
He made on prototype
This reminds me of Nokia's old experimental phone design.
That's just an ipod.
Yeah
And it doesn't work either
Rip
At least we still have Dou-
>Doug went on to become a YouTube clickbait shyster and loudmouthed douchebag.
O...oh...
>he uses the word shyster unironically
Do you also have a gunt?
lol, get fricked Tallarico you c**t.
Yeah what was the hype? He made some fricking soundtracks and now he's some big shot?
A Dreamcast 2 wouldn't sell 5 million units in its lifetime, what made them thing the Intellifrickingvision would succeed?
Okay that I will fight you on. In Brazil the shitty Sega consoles have sold like 11 million so it has a chance
That's because they've been selling nothing BUT those shitty Sega consoles for two fricking decades.
But it would sell!
Exactly. A Dreamcast two would probably outsell the original
I dont think people born in 1970 know what is the frick is a Intellivision, outside of that AVGN video and the Bomb Squad thing.
How did people have hope for this thing again? Mobile-tier games, a terrible controller, and banking on the name of a console that nobody except coffin dodgers have nostalgia for.
Earthworm Jim
Earthworm Jim is a C-tier franchise that never drew a dime
You're right but it was able to get 150 million dollars lmao
Looks like Atari wins again, baby!
Whats stopping one of these ruined investors from blowing Tommy's brains? Did he flew the country?
Nothing really
There's nothing stopping him from dying
What's with those controllers?
Maybe we can get Netflix to make a live action adaption
Hopefully
I was a little interested in it because it was so novel as a console
too bad it seems it'll never come out now
I'm sure there's some prototypes around
Enough of this there is no credible source stating this.
Check their trademarks I guess
kinda bummed for him. I actually liked Tommy Tallacrico because I got to know him better from the Mega64 podcasts and Gamer Warz.
He is a narcissist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc12Qez6Vlo
he definitely is
I remember an article of him saying everyone was a racist and communist
holy mother of autism
groovy
Atari bros

This was a scam man that's why
It's not like Atari which actually released a console.
They stole 44-150 million dollars from bankrupted companies
I realize that, but what I'm asking is do any of these companies (like the Atari people) actually believe people are going to buy and support these consoles?
Atari did, Intellivision did not because they were scamming.
Because they want to buy back their childhood and show their own children
>Why do these companies think anyone's going to invest in expensive "retro...but new!" bullshit consoles
If it were done right anon, I would definitely buy a console like this. Tectoy just makes it. It's just another factory
>100 million dollar scam
he can't keep getting away with it
They literally can, some of the people behind this were also behind the Colecovision Chameleon.
Look forward to their ZX Spectrum project in a couple years.
Actually I don't even think the coleco scam made that much vs this
Only 100k
Point is once a grifter always a grifter, they'll be back once they shake off any consequences from this.
Which they will because the legal systems that could stop them are moronic.
I think this scam is too big to ignore
Nah. $100m is nothing. Look what happened to Sears.
What?
>ZX Spectrum
I hope not, Sinclair was a cool guy and made some real soulful 80s tech,
I think it's now up to 150 million
Pat won
Tommy lost
Pat doing cringekino avgn ripoffs > whatever shit tommy did
Pat is such a cringe lord
Pat's coverage on the retrovgs/Amico is interesting. Rest of his shit is cringe as frick
UMMMMM AMICO BROS????
