While not illegal, having kids past your 40s is still looked down upon. Raising kids is already pretty expensive and needing to spend extra resources taking care of someone with a fricked up disability isn't worth it. Inbreeding is less viable as you won't be able to potentially tap into a richer family's resources because your kids are fricking each other.

You can marry your daughters to their brothers, then after a good number of years both the daughter and your leader will die off, now you can marry your original leaders granddaughters to his sons, it is possible to get one of those generals to become the new leader and then marry their kids together. It becomes really fricked and you get a ton of flavor text and traits from it. It's the only game other than grand strategy that lets you become the habsburgs

It's even difficult to do in Crusader Kings. You're limited to cousins, aunts, and uncles by default. To allow close kin marriage you have to reform pagan which is a centuries long project by itself. Otherwise you have to use seduction focus which is long and inaccurate and doesn't allow parental.
Here's a pro-tip; if you have seduction focus, and you quarantine your court, and your mother/sisters is the only woman there, an event can fire where you become lovers.
