He won but what the frick was team ninja thinking when they balanced the game past bahamut difficulty?
Gilgamesh and Lufenia difficulty is only doable on extra mode.
I liked the more linear progression in Nioh 1/2 and Wo Long more.
I got my jobs at level 200 but got unlucky with the chests in the rng dungeons not dropping unlocks past 200 for my jobs I was playing.
Same with relic/blue gear, no drops for my jobs and I got demotivated and just reached level 32 so I can get my last remaining achievement and then dropped the game.
Game was enjoyable for the 100h I played.
I was in tears laughing at that first trailer. The game actually ended up not being as funny as I'd hoped it would be even though I still liked it plenty.
Being in threads when people were first watching that video where Jack turns on his earbuds and walks off mid-conversation, and the subsequent wonder of how intentional his behavior was, had been a great time.
Stranger of Paradise enjoyer here - did the game perform well by any standard that would be good for more Jack content? I was under the impression that the mainstream mostly ignored it.
i think the game did better than they expected, i don't think it's a flop but not really undersold plus it relied on memefactor for marketing but the extra dlcs really help the game improve, i think the main issue was that it was a Epic exclusive for a year before going to steam
The game underperforming is a well known fact, I think it's one of the worst selling FF titles or something like that. The best info about a sequel we have is Nomura saying it can happen if word of mouth spreads, maybe. Unless this reaches the same popularity via memes as MGR it's unlikely.
What is the best Job combo anons? I was Breaker / Sage practically all the game. I played Co-op so buffing and healing was worth it. I have a soft spot for Ninja/Assasin/Void Knight though.
Jack simultaneously is chained to the past of Final Fantasy but then presses X to punch through cutscenes and takes the IP in a new direction of action-oriented gameplay. Jack is the bridge and I have complete faith that the bridge will not collapse as we cross it.
>plot of the game is that a rival group of people hate another group of people so much that they transcend time and space to orchestrate an elaborate series of circumstances that exist only to torture and humiliate their rivals in an eternal time loop, while also being terrified at being separated from them, as if they're a parasite leeching off of a host
how did this get past the censors?
The biggest problem with the game in my opinion is the post game and the STUPID fricking MMO itemzation combined with borderlands lootspam.
>all dlc content is explicitly designed for people who had been playing the previous dlc for a while and already have builds mostly figured out. most level uncaps, etc. >magic funny number (ilvl) renders your gear borderline worthless every few levels >but at the same time, the postgame is when the game starts demanding you put together some semblance of a build, so just putting on the "biggest number" is simultaneously a bad idea but also the only thing you can do to hope to survive >your only two options when you hit a new difficulty bracket (chaos -> bahamut -> gilg -> ???) is to either spend hours upon hours slowly inching your way up the ilvl tree, or cheese gear by cranking up a mission difficulty as high as you can and repeatedly killing 1-2 easy enemies at the start of a stage
My main wish for a sequel is that they drop the stupid fricking ilvl system and respect your time a bit more.
I don't mind a grind but constantly invalidating my gear in the postgame pissed me off hard. I gave up after playing the Gilg dungeon for a bit.
we were always praising it as the new cringekino savior, who needs to apologize? it's based as frick
It always did. If you're trying to use it as a bludgeon in some kind of moronic proxy war against game you don't like then die.
i respect jack's strength
why do japs always make white men and women with chink eyes
I respect jack's large uncut wiener.
Won what?
History will remember the last good Final Fantasy game.
>sold less than XVI
>win
lol
Sold more than Rebirth though

HOLY FILTERED
>t. played with party members
Once you reach those difficulties, stats are what matters most. You can't ignore them or you'll get obliterated and do no damage.

It’s always fun to go back and look at the threads when this was revealed.

>more Jack content
did you finish the last main story mission in the very last dlc?
Could continue with the alternate ending
that's not the final story mission
Yeah but there's two timelines now, one where Jack took the dimensional matrix and one where he stayed to fight the WoL
And if there's a next game it can only follow the Jack who took the crystal because in the other one you kill him as wol.
I'm fairly certain the other-Jack story is whatever content he has in that fricking mobile gacha game, Opera Omnia
I do appreciate that Jack went to OO to make everybody kneel.
I don't think it flopped, but I don't think it did well enough for more.

AND NOW
Maybe the story about the war between Cornelia and Lufenia isn't just a story after all.
>makes cringe kino
>wins
its that easy
probably most likely the single best ff game ever made.
Can I pirate the dlc and put it in the steam version of the base game? I want to play the new jobs
literally who

No that already started with XV
Yeah but SoP actually had gameplay.
Sorry, not a fan of 2 MP and potion=estus

They fear the samurai.
I remember when journalists got pissed because muh edge and muh white man and muh serious mature games for mature gamers.
Early 2000s edge really is the best counter to the post ironic meme era
