The Putin the head is not but cna lso be into the Odessa which is also Transanistria republic front to become into completion as is the but the conscript Mongols do not want to fight they is going into the also east inside either or.
Realistically this wouldn't work right? While you have a mastery of the strategy in Hearts of Iron, there are too few variables compared to real combat for them to be similar.
>Realistically this wouldn't work right?
nope
the guy who is good at playing specific game is just good at playing this game
sure some skills can be used to play another similar game but paradox games are not a simulations and ai is free to abuse
its not even about the variables, which is correct, but games deliver perfect informational control to the player. real life doesnt, and russia especially has titanic problems with intelligence, in every sense of the word.
Well, Ukraine had gamers pilot drones to drop mollies, so this is the same shit on a bigger scale. If you gave a pro FPS player control of a humanoid robot on the battlefield, it would wreak havoc. Skills can transfer.
But using game controllers to control a robot makes somewhat sense, as its simply an easier or more familiar way of inputting commands to control something.
With this, its literally commanding thousands of soldiers into unfamiliar conditions. I think
its not even about the variables, which is correct, but games deliver perfect informational control to the player. real life doesnt, and russia especially has titanic problems with intelligence, in every sense of the word.
That would actually explain what happened in February 2022: they told Putin to rush paratroopers into the victory points and Ukraine would collapse in a few minutes.
While 10,000 hours in single player makes you completely useless, 10,000 hours in competitive multiplayer might actually come in handy for discussing strategy. Not because of the game mechanics, but because by that point you get a sixth sense for when players are going to say >FRICK, ENDSIEG MODE. FULL. SIEGE. ME. DOWN.
I genuinely think getting scammed in some shit like Runescape or Mablestory is a good life lesson. You lost something of value to you but it wasn't serious enough to cause actual harm, just time wasted.
>mmo teaches you how investing and stocks work >why you can get catfished and how to do it
The greatest lesson for me is still how destructive nepotism is at the highest level of a game. Eventually all of the wealth and power gets consolidated into a select minority. And said minority has the ability to sway vast portions of the game towards their favour. Nothing like that realization of your 2 billion dollars earned being smalltime by comparison.
Putin wouldn't call up citizens to a PMC like Wagner. This is another Twitter tard spreading their head cannon. The pictures are clearly showing Wagner hiring some sooner to stream and advertise to other zoomers. It's no different from what the US Army does.
Supposedly Russia also recruited some Pro wargame player as an strategist to assist their war efforts who also ended up dying one week after deployment to an artillery strike, although that whole story might just be yet another Ukrainian propaganda story like the ghost of Kiev.
I HOPE ALL OF RUSSIAS YOUTH DIES HORRIBLY IN THIS WAR AND CRIPPLES IT'S COUNTRY FOR THE REST OF IT'S PATHETIC EXISTANCE. DEATH TO ALL RUSSIANS ALL OVER THE WORLD.
they send literally all their professional army to their death what do you expect. First they wanted to take all of ukraine and now they are trying not to lose the land they still occupy while sending literally waves of prisoners into kill zones.
The funniest shit is that Russia is probably one of the most woke places in the world
Highest supports of trannies, biggest supporter of abortions, supporters of Universal healthcare
Why? Social media is a common thing for decades and you now have an actual modern war with 2 large militaries. Life has to go on regardless of war and there's actual millions of people involved in this conflict and it's fought mainly by relatively young men which use the same social media.
Might as well enjoy the show while you can because most of us take everything we have for granted. Nothing is guaranteed in life and sooner or later the same things you watch now might come to YOU.
>join the shitposting brigade >do your part by making wojaks of the enemy and engaging them in flamewars insinuating that their women prefer the company of beasts
This isn't about video games, it's actually referring to actual tank competition. It would be funny to actually see War Thunder players realize that all their sperging and leaking of classified documents won't actually help them in a real war, and that real life doesn't have a Russian bias.
But that's literally not what's happening. Ukraine isn't part of NATO. Sure, they get surplus NATO equipment, and a bullshit amount of NATO funding, but none of that really matters when the soldiers aren't trained in that equipment and that funding is siphoned away by their "leaders". Don't assume I'm taking sides in their gay little war, when I said "Russian bias" I was referring to War Thunder's tendency to have stupidly overpowered Russian tanks compared to their counterparts. Ukraine uses Russian tanks as well, and turns out they aren't as amazing as depicted in that game.
>Ukraine uses Russian tanks as well, and turns out they aren't as amazing as depicted in that game.
How can you tell when it's superior Russian technology fighting the same Russian gear? No wonder there are hundreds of thousands of casualty.
The realities of tank warfare turn out to be a lot more complex than just tanks vs. tanks. Tank autists are a strange bunch, you'll hear some crazy shit from them, like "if Germany had put the Maus into full production, they would have won the war!" which is quite frankly, fricking insane. Tanks are merely a component of a ground war, but according to tank autists they are literally the only important thing ever.

>The realities
Because those autists have never been in war and their exposure to it is through video games. A single MANPAD can take out a highly advanced $1,000,000 flying machine that requires >a trained pilot >a trained co-pilot >a trained crew >a complicated logistics chain
A javelin, which is in numerous supply in Ukraine, can take out any modern-day equipment be it IFVs, helicopters, etc etc. Hell, a drone equipped with explosives can take out pretty much fricking anything short of an underground bunker and they've been in use since the start of the Syrian civil war to great effect.
Modern warfare is a fricking meatgrinder.

I've seen it more than once, but I'll be fair, both times it came from the YouTube comments section so probably underaged and definitely moronic. Usually, tank autists' biggest issue is grossly overstating the importance of tanks in combat.
I cannot stress enough how little fricks I give about third worlders and their bullshit. I just hope I'm able to put Ukraine as a dependent on my taxes this year.
If he wants help for troop deployment and theater management you get the HoI3 and DH players
If you want economical aspects, you get Vicky2 players
If you wan incest council, CK2
I completed the easy mode of the first XCOM, i didn't got any unlocks not perfect missions and most of my soldiers died but yeah.
I'm the kind of guy who plays xcom on ironman impossible and I wouldn't let anyone trust in my tactics in real life.
Luckily the grunts are expendable prisoners, so no lives would be in your hands
Sounds like prime material for a brigad general in the mighty Russian army.

>10,000 hours
Is that even human?
normie
Says the NORMALgay
you are a fricking casual.
10000 hours is the widely accepted number it takes to become a master of anything. I think it originally came from musicians.
Imagine actually believing this when AI is about to make music and art irrelevant.
It is making autotuned garbage irrelevant, not music.
Yeah but you're really going to spend 10,000 hours mastering a single fricking video game.
>you're really going to spend 10,000 hours mastering a single fricking video game.
I, too, had to read Outliers when I was on academic probation

The modern day mods for HOI4 are shit.
Ukraine would have been taken in a day if Putin had the Sigurd ring.
This is the plot of many a movie. One day I’ll use my mmorpg skills when I get isekaied into another world.
You joke but I think MMOs have taught me more about financial stuff than school ever did

Because he's playing on Iron Man, of course. Not many people know, but Putin is an achievementgay.

What does an unrealistic WW2 map painting simulator have to do with a modern conflict?

He is East German. The brainwashing is not as effective on them.

HoI3 and DH have more micromanaging of units but the economical and naval aspects are more complex in HoI4.
