nta but Preecha's design feels really jumbled. Muay Thai's a pretty straightforward thing in fighting games, but having it stapled to a girl with glasses who talks about science and researching ki makes her a lot less interesting. SNK should have stuck with the beta designs because it would have made for a good Cute Girl design to contrast with Jenne and Hotaru.
I actually think she looks fun... Her arching fireball that lingers on the ground after the downfall looks really interesting, solid confirms with EX axe kick that links, a fast long-range super for raw whiff punishes, target combo with a pop-up ala Rufus. She looks like she'll be strong.
Not a fan of her design, and Joe being in gives me even less reason to try her out. But I will still be getting CotW because FF is great and SNK delivers on the gameplay. Now if I get it on release or sometime afterwards will depend on how badly SNK fricks up the online.

Comparisons to these games reminds me of something I've been wondering, why is it that when SNK puts out graphically lacking fighting games they're a laughing stock, but meanwhile, SF4 looked like shit, SFxT was an asset flip, SFV looked like shit, MvCI looked like shit. SF6 is the first time Capcom made a 3D fighting game that wasn't outright ugly and it's only by merit of using a preexisting engine and a completely safe realistic art direction.
I actually started playing Garou again thanks in part to these announcements. Had some good matches with an anon earlier, been going well all in all, but I had an encounter with an absolute KILLER yesterday. One of the players who does random select because they know every single character, got my shit pushed in. It got to where I'd take a round and get him on the ropes fairly often as it went but in the end I couldn't touch him. Hell of a way to get back in the swing of a game though, just fight one dude who plays every character.
Just listening to the snippet of the main theme has me excited for this game. It sucks so hard that this style of rock is never featured in media anymore
Anyone know any bands that still make songs like this?
Only thing wrong with Preecha is the color loudness and you change that at the select screen. Nerds have been freaking out about her since reveal and there's no good reason.

KoF trials are notoriously hard and not indicative of how playing the game really is.
Maybe for 13. For a lot of characters in XV it's pretty indicative of how they play
