She is used in place of an Anemo shredder for teams with Pyro or Electro carries that aren't going to use Vape/Aggravate reactions. So she works with characters like Klee, Yoimia or Raiden. She does not create EM scaling teams based around overload damage.

She also somehow survived the beta without nerfs. The only new 4 star we got that ever matched a 1.0 4 star in usage was Kuki, and that to only after an entirely new element was introduced
Hyperbloom is hardly niche now, it's about as popular as National. Probably even moreso because the team is much easier to build and play while doing similar amounts of damage
Kuki is the best electro in that team, her only other competition is Raiden, and Raiden doesn't work against shields

We knew for a long time that she was focused around crystallize. That alone makes her incompatible with most Geo teams. Up to this point, no one has ever made a Geo team with crystallize in mind.
I think they're trying to make geo more flexible by adding characters that can work with other elements. Also, crystallize is dead in the water but she uses the crystals.

geo resonance requires you to be shielded to get the dmg bonus and geo res shred, which you probably wouldnt want in a navia team because you will probably want to run her on maracheusse hunter with furina and youll be sucking up all the crystals to shoot your umbrella gun.

This event quest that's currently running is everything I hate about Genshin. This fricking game really needs to learn when to just shut the frick up. These incompetent hack writers can't go 2 minutes without a boring exposition dump.
I lost my interest in playing around 3.6 or so but I came back in 4.1 and am having fun again. Who the frick still does dailies? The new encounter system lets you skip them just by doing things like exploring and doing quests, you know playing the game.

ayaka is good for aoe and yoimiya is good for single target situations. they are both solid on field dps characters. ayaka probably has more gameplay utility overall, but yoimiya is a better character both personality and design wise.
it's long as frick and characters spend at least 5 dialogue 5 dialogue boxes every conversation about it's penis inspection day at the academia or some other bullshit.
Writing in Genshin can range anywhere between absolutely kino lore hidden away in a secret book in a secret area locked behind an easily missable world quest, to generic NPCs reciting their life story when you say hello. Sadly we get the latter far more often than the former

C6 is like a 1.0 4* or a 5* C2

We knew for a long time that she was focused around crystallize. That alone makes her incompatible with most Geo teams. Up to this point, no one has ever made a Geo team with crystallize in mind.
I think they're trying to make geo more flexible by adding characters that can work with other elements. Also, crystallize is dead in the water but she uses the crystals.

No team wants her. You can throw subdps or support cores at her but chances are you're better off putting in someone who can do reactions with those same subdps or supports. Her being an ATK scaler her own most optimal team is likely going to be something like Furina Bennett which isn't perfect with the fourth slot occupied by Albedo or Zhongli for geo resonance. It's an impossible problem to solve until Geo itself isn't shit. And while on paper her numbers seem competitive the shotgun mechanic guarantees you'll be missing out on damage all the time.
