I paid 49£ for this on my small moms and pops website and they also gave me £10 in cashback in reward points and they always deliver day early. Dunno how people still keep falling for $60-70 game meme
not lying. they do that stuff ocassionally. I saved £40 in bonus points since may, spent that on spiderman 2, wgich ended costing my 25 after points. I will have 20 more in rewards points later when star ocean and ac mirage gets released. That shop has been around forever, so somehow works for them, guess bonuses just entice people to keep shopping with them
If you say it's because of the lack of a wienerpit view, you're moronic. Like actually on the level of an amoeba. That's like saying a racing game without a behind-wheel view isn't actually a racing game.
NTA but he's right.
The gameplay (dodging and ammo conservation) doesn't even try to sell you on the fact that you're giant or a metal machine that can have parts blown off and its components disabled. It's a bare bones rob-flavored action game.
Also, a mech is a thing and a race is an activity. Stupid example.
A car is a thing, a real thing I might add, and arcade racing games do little to simulate the feeling of driving a car. So I guess kart games are dogshit because there's no clutch and your car doesn't crumple when it crashes
So you're just fricking stupid then. You literally cannot fathom these things as giant machines unless the game throws a fricking novel at you explaining exactly what it is. You can't comprehend it being a giant machine because you're clearly three stories tall as displayed in missions when standing next to apartment complexes and cars. No, that's somehow not good enough.
>Also, a mech is a thing and a race is an activity. Stupid example.
No, not really. If you argue the fact that a mech game isn't a mech game because it lacks a wienerpit view, then the same argument can be made for a car racing game. If it lacks a wienerpit view, you're not playing a car racing game, you're playing a 3D model viewer of cars. After all, how am I supposed to feel like I'm driving a car unless I'm directly inside of it?
>unless the game throws a fricking novel at you
I pity you for being this unimaginative. What about if every step you took shattered the floor beneath you due to the sheer weight of your AC? What if when boosting at max speed you created a gust of wind that could move debris and small vehicles?
Do you mecha autists even like big robots? >No, that's somehow not good enough.
The bare minimum is just that. Enough for fanboy homosexuals that eat whatever slop is served to you.
>I pity you for being this unimaginative.
You're literally the one who sees a giant robot and yet can't comprehend it as a giant robot "because... well just because."
>What about if every step you took shattered the floor beneath you due to the sheer weight of your AC? What if when boosting at max speed you created a gust of wind that could move debris and small vehicles?
You talk about imagination yet once again repeat the same shit about needing more because your own imagination somehow can't fill in gaps that don't need filling in in the first place. The blatantly giant robot on screen dwarfs cars and reaches the 3rd/4th story of buildings in height.

You can literally apply that logic to any video game ever and you'll always be disappointed by everything because it can't live up to meeting every small little detail needed for your enjoyment. Size is purely a thematic thing. If a game is made around human sized robots the scale of any environment destruction caused is quite limited. If one were to take that game and simply replace the assets with larger things (ie. a table is now a building) then it provides a simple illusion of more happening.
Of course, there is also a secondary pragmatic reason for this. If the player character is a giant robot then opponents are most likely going to be other vehicles of some sort rather than humans or other living creatures (or human sized robots). It is a LOT easier to model convincing exploding vehicles and buildings than small scale things, especially fleshy blood-filled ones. Demanding graphical details can handwaved away at this scale.
It's certainly not a mech sim. But to say it's not a mech game is absurd.
Besides, there aren't a lot of mech games out there, neither sims nor arcade-likes. So the more the merrier. The day of the mech sim will come back at some point hopefully, we're already seeing some autistic shit like Mech Engineer come out. So who knows.
And apparently according to the PVPers that were at the event, the netplay was really good. They were in California and the server was in Japan and they said it felt local.
So this could be the first From game to not have completely trash netcode.
It feels like they're listening to all the criticism about the technical issues in the Souls games and applying that here. Hope they backport some of this to Elden
I've said it before but VD netcode was great. You could play on JP servers and there wouldn't be much lag. I think souls has shitty netcode just because its p2p connections.

I think the fact that Sekiro has a very linear story, in comparison to other games, and has a very focused protag, makes it hard for them to come up with DLC material.
Basically all the DLCs made by From are story content being revealed as new areas to explore in game.

Part of me thinks Sekiro was more akin to an engine tech test and them reworking a concept of something like Tenchu to their own flavor before moving full steam ahead on Elden Ring and Armored Core. It was never meant to be a game that would end up beating out RDR2 for GOTY, it was more akin to a side game for them.

Well, most of the crew got assigned to work on Armored Core 6 immediately after the base game was finished, I'm not surprised they wouldn't pass up the chance. The free update a year after launch might be the contractual obligation for Activision so that they could tell they got a DLC out of the way.
But Elden ring was cracked on the first day? Funnily enough I had less stuttering on my old shitty pc and pirates version than streamers with their gigahomie setups, especially I didn't have rykard stuttering in his cutscene

Technically, normalgays can get tricked into liking giant robots like transformers. They just can't into mech customization autism, which is like car guys autism x10.
It's an impractical bipedal vehicle. essentially a flamboyant Tank or Fighter Jet depending on which mythos you pull from.
I guess I've just never played a Mecha game that sells the fact that I'm piloting one of these things, it's always just >This autistic japanese man think its cool, so frick worldbuilding
Most military sci-fi is founded on the basis on things being impractical but somehow working anyway which is the appeal. Literally just list how many games have a massive space ship that can somehow just hover above the ground in atmosphere when a real space ship needs a shitload of propulsion just to get to the thermosphere and the explanation is literally just "anti-gravity" generator tech IF they even bothered because it usually goes without saying.
If you wanna understand this a little more watch the show Patlabor because it's essentially a "what if we somehow got robots to actually work in real life" and it goes over the hilarious impracticalities and strange benefits you would actually have from piloting a lumbering machine with arms. It may not be applicable to real life combat doctrines but to in detail explore how it functions ANYWAY because the setting demands their be a cool giant robot is at least the appeal of real robot genre and why I like a lot of scifi that doesn't really completely confine itself to logic.
>the explanation is literally just "anti-gravity" generator tech
This is a far better explanation for a ship defying the laws of physics than I have seen in any mecha related media for humans deciding to create giant human shaped robots.
This is my point, they're so impractical that not even a magical plot device is an adequate explanation for their existence.

This doesn't really make sense to me, if you can accept having a hyper advanced generator that defies the laws of physics to allow a huge hunk of metal float above the ground then what is the problem with a large humanoid robot. We already would have practical use for it simply by the fact that it can do things humans can do except 100x better and stronger. Energy and costs being one of the main set backs which is something most scifi throws to the wind anyway. I legit do not get how you can be fine with something that is actually way more unrealistic than the other

Exosqueletons and small mechas like the ones you can see in Aliens or Avatar absolutely make sense, as big forklifts on legs, and we may see them in our lifetime, if the energy supply issue gets resolved (which is a big if). They'd also be probably useful in combat as fire support or to carry heavy weapons like antitank missiles or 50 cal machine guns. On the other hand, huge building sized robots serve no purpose other than looking cool, they're basically fantasy.
AC robots are Japanese autism, so fantasy, and are relying on some imaginary energy source. If you can accept playing with slim dudes dual wielding huge weapons bigger than them and casting fire spells, playing with gotta go fast robots spazzing left and right should be fine, unless you simply don't like the aesthetic.
>AC robots are Japanese autism, so fantasy,
I get that, but other fantasy settings do a far better job of explaining their fantastical elements from an in-universe perspective.
>This is a far better explanation for a ship defying the laws of physics than I have seen in any mecha related media for humans deciding to create giant human shaped robots.

>Because then I also have to accept that the people in this universe would use this macguffin to do something that doesn't make sense
Why aren't they using these anti-gravity fields for warfare and other exploits? Why aren't they using space ships based on practical realistic designs? The same issues exist but the gravity box has surface level appeals to your sense of realism.
The thing you gotta remember is that mechs and mecha, different and similar as they are, are effectively giant war tank jeep cars. There's a very specific subset of men and women that are interested in cars, it's far from universal, and even less than that actually care about racing/car games. So then you take mecha, which are anime as frick and certainly unusual in premise and design, almost alien to regular people and requiring you get in through another source and everything, and show it to the world and it just looks like someone's fricked up fascination with something silly and over the top.
People have very strange ways of rationalising stuff. If on the very surface people have to accept something strange they really struggle. However like putting sugar in medicine for a small child, a few layers of boring can make them accept straight up tech-magic. Like look at this moron
>the explanation is literally just "anti-gravity" generator tech

anti-gravity generator just makes sense to them cause "er its a box that has a spinny bit and gravity stuff happens!" They know generators are a thing but don't know what one actually does. So selling one as a magic box is easy. Its a considerably more silly concept but done in a way that tricks them into thinking it is smart by exploiting their stupidity.
To like mechs you gotta accept a ridiculous concept up front. At which point you are also willing to shrug off other sci-fi tech not as a good explanation, but that stories often need ridiculous elements to work.
Only those with souls can truly appreciate mecha. It's peak anti-midwit. Only the mentally moronic and the truly intelligent can appreciate it. The dumbass thinks "woah giant robots cool" and the smart person thinks "I don't give a frick if it's not realistic, fiction is about exploring the impossible."
>the dumbass thinks "woah giant robots cool"
You got that one right, lmao. >And the smart person thinks,I don't give a frick if it's not realistic
Slow your roll there Mr. dumbass. This was never about realistic, it was about a setting selling itself and being believable.
A logically consistent fantasy universe is simply better made than one that only exists due to the rule of cool.
Realism in fiction isn't "the media in question gives you a twenty page thesis on why this shit should actually work." Realism in fiction is treating something with a modicum of seriousness and making sure, at the very least, what rules you have established are followed.

The majority don't yet I don't see you disregarding sci-fi as a genre for that failing as you will with mechs. I don't think any sci-fi setting applies its technology to the fullest logical extent. Pro tip: if you ever encounter something unrealistic in a sci fi setting, particularly in a genre that needs to be narratively concise like films or video games, just assume there's an equally bullshit explaination to soothe your autism.

Those are the most fun settings. I like it more when the answer for why people don't do something rational but boring isn't "it's impossible because (three sentences of technobabble" but rather because of some weird religious or cultural belief the people in the setting have.

AC’s exist because their pilots are almost always solo mercs who need the biggest, baddest machine to get the job done which usually involves whiling out an entire armored battalion. Tanks and helicopters exist in-universe and are basically fodder for your AC and go down in a hit or two.
Not him but accepting mechs are a thing because [whatever energy source] is your opener for suspension of disbelief and it rests there. Tell me, if you read fantasy and see a guy making flames with a snap do you go UHHHHHH WTF HOW IS HE DOING THIS?

>UHHHHHH WTF HOW IS HE DOING THIS?
You're also misunderstanding. The question isn't how but WHY. Why would someone with magical powers use them to cast fire? self explanatory.
Why would someone with an unlimited energy source who is in charge of developing military technology make a fricking transformer? Uhhh because its cool.
And for the record if a universe ever gave that as the answer I'd be okay with it, but usually the answer is something along the lines of "don't worry about it"

For me it's "Memeubotanium" that people fight over
because it isn't the coolest shit ever? why would i play a lame game with a boring dumb big robot when i could be a wizard at hogwarts? or a lizard/dragon man or elf that can use magic and fight squid men with my unique companions with their own stories and feelings and dreams and goals. or some super soldier killer badass like in cod or fortnite? or roam the stars in a ship i pilot go in and out of customize and live in and have super rad companions walking and talking and doing their best to help me save the world/worlds/galaxy? what about romance? there isn't any romance at all with big robots or mechs. they don't have genitals or feelings to reciprocate my advances. mechs are lame cause it's a lot less personal and less of a reflection of myself.
what gender is the giant big robot? not applicable. what are the pronouns of the big robot? not applicable. it's a nonliving vehicle that just carries my body to do cool stuff and i'm not seeing an avatar of myself do cool stuff so then it is not cool.
If you can't appreciate the pilots not being represented with anything but their AC/emblem then I don't know what to tell you and you won't be able to see things my way. For me at least the lack of up-front humanity in it puts a huge magnifying glass on the dialogue/actions they do perform.
For the record I like RPGs with human characters/companions and had fun with them but it's a whole separate thing.
It’s not an RPG. It’s a fast-paced mech simcade game more akin to a cross between ace combat and gran Turismo than dark souls.

You’re both wrong as AC has always had difficulty selection, it can be as casual or hardcore as you need it to be
The difficulty setting in every game until 4 was completely worthless as the only thing it did was reduce the size of your lock-on box.
4 and FA's hard modes kicked ass though as the whole gimmick of "the plan has gone to shit" makes the missions far more interesting.
Swap the head, the chest, arms, legs, boosters, energy generator, internal lock-on components, and then the weapons on both arms (though they're going back to left arm gear being separate selections from the right again) and whatever equipment or weapons on both shoulders. Then you can paint every individual part of the machine, place emblems or stickers wherever, and even make it look shiny or rusted as frick.
We haven't seen enough to really know how many shotguns or close-range weapons there are, but there are laser blades, robot kicks and pilebunkers for melee with the left arm. And there's literal tank tread legs, people just gotta get hands on to know how in-depth they can go with literal tankiness
Generally the first thing you want to replace is the generator or booster. They usually give you a real shit one.
I used to always sell the starting head + radar pack and bought a head with radar built in to save some cash but back radars haven't been a thing for many years now
Where mechwarrior lets you swap engines, weapons, heatsinks and the various other items within a specific mech's critical slots, armored core instead lets you swap the individual parts out entirely, for example making a mech with the upper half of a speedy lightweight but the legs of a much heavier mech.
Basically, it's a broader sort of customization that lets you make your own thing entirely, instead of your own variant of an existing mech.
Im watching Armored Trooper VOTOMS for the first time while waiting, its pretty cool. I'll also get high and play PvP while imagining Im playing a new Custom Robo
Yeah, that's what I meant. Should've put "free" in my last post, though. >If you already own the PS4™ version of this game, you can get the PS5™ digital version at no extra cost and you do not need to purchase this product. Owners of a PS4™ disc copy must insert it into the PS5™ every time they want to download or play the PS5™ digital version. PS4™ game disc owners who buy the PS5™ Digital Edition disc-free console will not be able to get the PS5™ version at no extra cost.
Because they're underage.
And yes, most recent FromSoft games have had both EAC and Arxan, albeit undisclosed on their Steam pages. It's the first time they mention it, that's all there is to it.
It will be cracked day one like Elden Ring was. People spreading FUD that Arxan is something hard to crack are just wage slaves who got tricked into buying it full price.
Arxan is not even a top 5 in DRM to be afraid of.. Multiple cracking groups will have it done.
Maybe I'm an ugly moron, but PvP in this game looks like it has no structure, like just spamming dodge going super fast, barely anything hitting..just a clusterfrick.
It seems to lack structure.
in the 3v3 certainly, it's just a destroyerfest of cruising and bruising. if we can turn respawns off players would be a lot less risky with their play, probably, besides the melee enthusiasts. 1v1 to the death is where you'll really see people trying to not take too much damage
same, never played an AC game before but the pvp looks like youre just flying around randomly holding the fire button hoping your rockets hit
i don't see the skill at all
Well yeah I will be able to pirate it, but I don't want to. That doesn't mean I'm going to buy either. I have other shit to play and more important things to do irl than play mechaslop. There is no more sad a fanbase than mechatards because they are so desperate it makes the Anime-game people look like they have unattainable standards.
I also look forward to the Black Vaati trying to stay relevant with AC6 trash until ER DLC.
>buy games!!!!!
why are they like this?
I'm not buying books not buying audiobooks not buying music not subscribing to a streaming service not buying games not buying programs
If they added a 3v3 battle mode with AI fodder campaign enemies on each side I would probably consider this the peak of gaming. Also isn't it weird to anyone else that mecha is considered a 'niche' game genre when a cool vehicle blowing shit up is basically just peak video games and a natural fit for the medium?
Wtf the copies are coming early?
Yup jetting off Ganker
They’ll b***h about a mediocre story
Bro? The script is already leaked.
Pretty crazy that people got buckbrocken into thinking Souls has good story when they ran that gimmick into the ground and the story hasn't been "good" since 1.
Normalgays can't really empathize with a character represented only by their mech and an emblem though, they need Hortmeister the Solmen Knight to vaguepost before appearing in a random place to try to kill you
THERES TOO MANY FRICKING GAMES IN A SHORT PERIOD FUUUUUCK >BALDUR'S GATE 3 >ARMORED CORE 6 >STARFIELD
HOW THE FRICK AM I SUPPOSE TO PLAY ALL THIS SHIT THEY'RE ALL 1000 HOURS LONG
>Armored Core 6 >1000 hours long
I mean you CAN spend 1000 hours probably but if it's anything like past entries you could probably beat it in literally a single sitting
>they don't know
armoured core has way over 250 levels and that's not even mentioning the other 50 side levels you can go in.
>Armored Core 6 >1000 hours long
I mean you CAN spend 1000 hours probably but if it's anything like past entries you could probably beat it in literally a single sitting
I'm not a zoomer so I know any space game with these lofty promises especially by Todd are Starbound tier. Zoomers are literally getting fooled by the SAME EXACT "SEE THAT MOUNTAIN YOU CAN CLIMB IT" thing word for word a decade+ later

Watching Gundam I realized that big Mechs are only interesting when they're in a city, why? Because it's fun to watch them destroy everything >BIG ROBOTS IN SPACE
What's even the point, what's the difference from big to small when you're in endless space
If it's supposed to run well on a steamdeck, it should run on my PC that could handle Elden Ring on mid graphics without issue, no?
Still can't decide if PC or PS5 version would be better.
I don't play armored core, so coming at this from an outsider perspective but, is a mecha game supposed to have such tight dodging and fast movement? It feels like every fromsoft game is about doing tight quick dodges. At least to me it doesn't sound like big robot combat, though maybe the other armored core games are like that too.
>At least to me it doesn't sound like big robot combat
Becuse it isn't, nuSoft is simply pandering to soulsgays, originally AC was very slow and immersive game
You can tell who the CoD players are in this thread.
Pvp isn't about eho can shoot better, it's about who can move better. Who is more artful at dodging I coming fire, who can manage engagement ranges to better utilize their own weapons while mitigating the strength of the enemies, who makes good use of available terrain and cover.
Is the multiplayer fun this time around? Only reason I'd ever pay for this game is if there is good coop. The pvp for these games always suck and nauseating.
Normalgays always assume robots are like, 50 meters tall anyway. They have no sense of scale. They'll see a pilot climb into the chest of a 10 meter robot and just instantly go "huh, that is way too big, it must be super massive, how silly". You basically have to hold their hand every step for them to grasp it.
There's little point, they wont appreciate it, and the fans already know.
>Frame Gride
Unfortunately it doesn't fulfill your exact requirements because FG literally just plays like AC but with magic lasers instead of technological lasers. Maybe they can revisit the idea if AC6 does well enough.
>Reminder that you can't pirate it
I prefer to support good developers, so that wouldn't cross my mind. Also, the doomposters are progressively losing their sanity with From's growing success, which I find amusing.
>still believing Japan as a whole doesn't have shit taste >caring about any of these games
ngmi
Also BG3's results are inflated with "how do I do X" searches since it just came out (plus there's no Japanese localization), so it's irrelevant. And this thing is unreliable as frick because it gives me different results even when I input the same 3.
What did you fudge with your search? Did you use search term? You know Japanese people aren't writing "armored core" in their search bar, right? That shows Davido-kun still like Bethesdslop
I don't know what the frick you're talking about, but it does say "search term" under both.
アーマードコア obviously gets more results in Japan than the other two combined. That it was a literal who series outside of Japan before 6 is hardly a secret.
>search term
you goofed. If you pick "video game series" or whatever it will look for the relevant searches in the native language. That's why they're different. Search term would be more fair if only screening Anglo c**ts.

It's unreliable no matter how you look at it. If your only point is "Japan interested = game good" then yeah that works, but for that I could just use the JP title in the first place.

Blue is Armored Core in Japanese. It had more searches in Japan then Starfield and Starfield in Japanese combined.
nobody in japan owns an XBOX or gamepass and few have the pc hardware to run Starfield.
Did companies forget that the most profitable games have conservative hardware requirements.
I honestly think Most From "fans" don't care. They're stewing waiting for nearly 2 years for their Elden Ring DLC. Only a handful of people care about this game outside of JP as usual. The only reason this even has regular threads on here recently is because this is a weebsite. Maybe it will do surprisingly well like Sekiro but don't underestimate non-Japs' disdain for mecha.
>Reminder that you can't pirate it
I bought the game and I'm telling you now, anon, they'll be able to pirate it soon enough. Its not Denuvo, its Arxan. I can't think of a single game that uses it and its likely the games that do are already cracked.
Reminds me of Elden Ring launch. Bought the game on steam but it had really poor performances. I saw the game getting cracked in one day so I decided to refund and just pirate it. Best decision I made last year and ever since that incident I don't buy games anymore
I have never played an armored core game in my life but im still buying AC6 because it's the only AAA game with really fast paced gameplay/movement getting released in the last few years
>Calls me the underage >Doesn't even know gacha existed before them

>beep beep >beep beep >beep beep
Not only does it warn you about every incoming attack so you never have to be paying much attention, it also makes an annoying sound every time. What the frick were they thinking?
Beeping is what makes missile locking satisfying, they even gave it different sounds depending on FCS manufacturer in gen2-3. The other 3 aren't beeping.
This shit is just annoying and seems like yet another crutch they added to make up for the lack of a proper radar.
I do miss radar. Although I got used to 5th gen not having it. I wish you could have one with a back part again so you'd have the option but at the cost of some firepower. In oldgen it was basically free with that radar head.

Just don't die so you don't have to get a top off
But yeah since you can freely replay missions you can always go back and farm if you wind up in the red.
None of this shit even matters. The payouts and mission ranks are far from the game's main issues.
Although the fact that they're pulling so much garbage from gen4-5 and thinking it's fine because they already did it once doesn't help.
All of those points have been btfo'd. Here and on /acg/.

You think they've been "btfo" because all you have in your head is brand loyalty and "anti-shills" or whatever the buzzword of the day is.

Thanks for that. 70 USD deluxe edition for 50.
How reliable are they? Its 43 Euro for me there. Never bought of them before. I usually buy from cdkeys but they are down atm.
I paid 49£ for this on my small moms and pops website and they also gave me £10 in cashback in reward points and they always deliver day early. Dunno how people still keep falling for $60-70 game meme
How much does the edition cost with the model kit? Can you still get that or is it all sold out?
It's gone anon. Sorry. You'll probably have to ebay it.
If you did then that shop is run by morons if they're just willing to lose that much money on a sale. But you're obviously lying.
not lying. they do that stuff ocassionally. I saved £40 in bonus points since may, spent that on spiderman 2, wgich ended costing my 25 after points. I will have 20 more in rewards points later when star ocean and ac mirage gets released. That shop has been around forever, so somehow works for them, guess bonuses just entice people to keep shopping with them
>PS5 version
well, that's explain a lot of things
sorry for your brain loss
>game is about mechs
>not a mech game
please explain
MechWarriorgays are known to shit on every game that isn't trying to be some sort of "realistic" robot piloting simulator
Why isn't it a mech game?
The blatantly giant robot on screen dwarfs cars and reaches the 3rd/4th story of buildings in height.
>just use your imagination bro!
ACgays come get your guy before he embarrasses himself even more
>I pity you for being this unimaginative.
Literally fricking you, in response to blatantly being shown a robot that towers your fricking house. I wish I could email you a fricking haemorrhoid.
Not him but your being extremely autismo about a game not having a bunch of superfluous details, those things are nice but also costs lots a resources and I think the details that are in the game were used extremely well. Like the hell do you fricking want dude.
>superfluous details
If they're so superfluous why aren't you playing as a human sized robot instead homosexual? Again I will ask
DO MECHA AUTISTS EVEN LIKE BIG ROBOTS
Why didn't White Glint fly to Mordor?
>DO MECHA AUTISTS EVEN LIKE BIG ROBOTS
Yes, which is why we don't need superfluous details like WOAH DUDE THE WIND.
Nahh dude you don't understand maaaaan, you have super detailed complex wind physics in your mecha game man, no don't use those resources and time and effort on actually making the game better!
Because is a fricking video game that costs a lot of money to make and I have to temper my goddamn expectations maybe? You can literally apply that logic to any video game ever and you'll always be disappointed by everything because it can't live up to meeting every small little detail needed for your enjoyment. Armored Core 6 is looking like it'll be the most detail out of the entire series and this alone is enough for me to celebrate it.
>The robot being bigger than buildings isn't enough for you!?
>uhhh that stuff costs to much
Ahhh okay I understand now. All the mecha discussion in this thread made me forget I'm on Ganker and not /m/, so this fanboy behavior caught me off guard.
I'm talking to Fromshills and not mecha fans. Makes perfect sense why you guys would excuse any and all shortcomings, even ones fundamental to the genre.
Not even Mechwarrior, the supposed sim pinnacle of mechs according to several autists on Ganker, does what you're asking.
Hell, DCS, a super fricking autismal flight combat simulator, doesn't do some of the shit you're asking.
Don't bother, there are a few spiteful gays who try to derail every AC6 threads. True /m/echa fans love Japanese robots and AC, except some mechwarrior extremists.
>Not even Mechwarrior, the supposed sim pinnacle of mechs according to several autists on Ganker, does what you're asking.
Doing what I was asking was never the point... you absolute fricking moron.
>Go into my fanboy fromshill thread so we can circle jerk!

>every itty bitty little realistic detail
Fromshills (commonly known for their honesty and mild temperament) using fallacious tactics to undermine criticism against their half baked game????????????????? How kooky!
Don't forget to ask if they ever explain if a random planet's unique atmosphere has any effect on the robot's paint job "bwo"
and lmao don't even try to hide behind /m/ as if they aren't way more permissive on accepting silly shit just on the basis of the wide range of settings. and

>Completely misunderstands the discussion
>uhh no I didn't!
>You're kind of like those guys in the van that gangstalk me!
To be clear: The two examples I gave in response to the implication that the only way to sell the setting of AC beyond city set-pieces was
>the game throws a fricking novel at you explaining exactly what it is
were examples of the contrary, and not the point, you boneheaded fromshill Black person.
>Le epic strawman
We don't care. Rope, troony.
huh what u mean???
>Doing what I was asking was never the point
It quite clearly is, moron. You're the kind of homosexual on Twitter who loses their shit when the latest Call of Duty doesn't let you realistically explode fruits at a garden market.
>All the mecha discussion in this thread made me forget I'm on Ganker and not /m/,
Go into /acg/ so we can call you a homosexual all the same. But you know you're not welcome there or on /m/ to begin with.
Nah, you literally don't even have a real thing to even complain about and your lashing out that people are calling out on your bullshit. Just because a game does not accurate simulate every itty bitty little realistic detail that could be possibly applied to the game is not a short coming that's just you being a little b***h.
Demanding graphical details can handwaved away at this scale.
homie, mechas aren't real so a mecha game can be anything with a war machine.
20 hours is a good length tbh. I hate that everything is 2719472916374 hours these days.

Bandwith is clearly a third world problem these days, juste like bad healthcare. Any game takes me 30mn to DL at most.
>120fps
Ace Combat was so good at 120fps, I feel AC6 will profit from it immensely too.
>Hope they backport some of this to Elden
No chance in hell, see
You mean Empress and the like are commissioned by other people to crack games ? What's the point ?
Empress is pretty much the only one that cracks Denuvo games anymore, and yeah unless there's a very vested interest they just force people to commission for payments.
OK so who is dumb enough to pay other people to crack games, for probably more than the price of said games ?
never do for free what youre good at

>Bandwith is clearly a third world problem
Romania has the best internet in Europe and is a third world shit hole
its because internet providers for a long time were small local companies. once providers consolidate into a few big companies, all competition is gone and so are goodies for the coomzoomers.

>Only way I can continually support From is by buying more copies
>Literally nowhere near me still sells physicals
The one time I'd buy dogshit DLC just for the sake of increasing the health of a corporation and they just refuse to give me the option.
From usually releases DLCs after launch.
However, they may or may not take the Sekiro route, which in the last 10 years is the only game from them that has no DLC
>AC6 does well enough to actually get an expansion instead of a separate game for the first time in the series
Man would pigs fly that day. Pigs of WAR
Very weird how Sekiro got snubbed out of a DLC even after winning GOTY 2019. Baffling almost
Sekiro has very blatant DLC setups in the story that they just decided didn't matter.
like what? The dreams/memories?
the master of someone, I can't remember really
some woman with legendary strength or something
Well, most of the crew got assigned to work on Armored Core 6 immediately after the base game was finished, I'm not surprised they wouldn't pass up the chance. The free update a year after launch might be the contractual obligation for Activision so that they could tell they got a DLC out of the way.
>too moronic to gift on steam
Yeah. Even with their performance issues I will give them my money. Their games are really fun. One of the only companies to not be pozzed either.

It's funny how fromdrones keep trying to memory hole this shit KEK

Says the guy coping about blatant troony pandering because it doesn't fit his narrative.
>troony pandering
see
>yeah just ignore that other part it doesn't count
Black person please.
Not enough, I hope the expansion have more LGBTIUOH characters
I could pirate but i voted with my wallet.
They make games that I like. I want them to make a new Sekiro type game (or even one set in fantasy Japan) eventually. Why would I pirate?
sadly i am poorgay so i pirated all their games except ER which i got gifted from friend.
based elden ring and sekiro are in the top 10 games of all time easily, im sure bloodborne would be aswell if they ever released it on pc
Yep.
absolutely bro you pay so that I can pirate
you're just paying for hackazaki, the manager's vacation, and marketing for the next game
game devs in japan are paid like shit, like everywhere
>Reminder that you can't pirate it
Factually incorrect, will be cracked within September.
>will be cracked within September.
Nobody will fricking care about this game by September
It must be a mystery to you, but not everyone is excited in openworld Bethesda slop.
Some actually like a fastpaced action game with minimal bloat and downtime. Crazy I know.
just like how Mario being available doesn't negate the need for Tetris or Tekken. You're comparing apples to oranges.
So you only like Bloodborne?
>slopfield
You're right about no one caring about that game.
good because there would a containment thread for shitposters meanwhile nichechads get to enjoy comfy discussions.
thats what they said about elden ring
But Elden ring was cracked on the first day? Funnily enough I had less stuttering on my old shitty pc and pirates version than streamers with their gigahomie setups, especially I didn't have rykard stuttering in his cutscene
elden ring didnt have heavy drm like ac6
Still waiting on my key from GMG
>GMG
anon I...
are all key sites full of shit or what
>are all key sites full of shit or what
Plenty are. Some are legit.

Buy global steam keys in Brazil for like $20. Sell online for $40. Repeat.

Unfortunately you're not the first to think about this.
cdkeys.com is the cheapest legit site
If CDKeys was legit it would be on ITAD, no?

They haven't sent it yet because the game isn't out yet you silly baka dummy, read on the site how it works

Seems like Geoff Keighley and FromSoftware are good bedfellows these days.
>Best Visuals
>Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, From Software / Bandai Namco Entertainment
>Black Myth: Wukong, Game Science Interactive Technology
>Reka, Emberstorm Entertainment / Fireshine Games
>Sand Land, ILCA, Inc. / Bandai Namco Entertainment
>The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo, Gammera Nest / Meridiem Games
I don't know any of those games except AC6, wtf ? And it's mostly the same for the other categories.
>best visuals
$3 offline account ftw
Are you ready to start working on your emblem, Ganker?
are there gradients?
Has it been revealed how many bosses there are going to be?
What about how many weapons?
but i dont even want to play it
I love every souls game, 0 desire to play this. Never understood the appeal of mechs.
Why are normalgays so incapable of liking mechs? I literally can't even comprehend as to how you couldn't just think it's the coolest shit ever. This is definitely a case where normal gays are actually insane and /m/en are the rational people here
Technically, normalgays can get tricked into liking giant robots like transformers. They just can't into mech customization autism, which is like car guys autism x10.
That's because western mecha "ammo counting" shut is gay and transformers and getter robo are cool
It's an impractical bipedal vehicle. essentially a flamboyant Tank or Fighter Jet depending on which mythos you pull from.
I guess I've just never played a Mecha game that sells the fact that I'm piloting one of these things, it's always just
>This autistic japanese man think its cool, so frick worldbuilding
This is my point, they're so impractical that not even a magical plot device is an adequate explanation for their existence.
>unironically asking why the candles in a dungeon
This is unironically a fair question to ask
>This is a far better explanation for a ship defying the laws of physics than I have seen in any mecha related media for humans deciding to create giant human shaped robots.
I legit do not get how you can be fine with something that is actually way more unrealistic than the other
>muh mechs aren't realistic
Is literal moronic smark shit on the same level as unironically asking why the candles in a dungeon are lit up as a demerit
Too nerdy and they haven't been prepped into liking it like with fantasyshit
>AC robots are Japanese autism, so fantasy,
I get that, but other fantasy settings do a far better job of explaining their fantastical elements from an in-universe perspective.
>if you can accept having a hyper advanced generator that defies the laws of physics to allow a huge hunk of metal float above the ground then what is the problem with a large humanoid robot.
Because then I also have to accept that the people in this universe would use this macguffin to do something that doesn't make sense. If your objective is warfare why not iterate on more practical designs we already have lying around?
Giant robots are a man's romance.
People have very strange ways of rationalising stuff. If on the very surface people have to accept something strange they really struggle. However like putting sugar in medicine for a small child, a few layers of boring can make them accept straight up tech-magic. Like look at this moron
anti-gravity generator just makes sense to them cause "er its a box that has a spinny bit and gravity stuff happens!" They know generators are a thing but don't know what one actually does.
Realism in fiction isn't "the media in question gives you a twenty page thesis on why this shit should actually work." Realism in fiction is treating something with a modicum of seriousness and making sure, at the very least, what rules you have established are followed.
>the media in question gives you a twenty page thesis on why this shit should actually work
Nobody asked for this.
Do they though?
>Why aren't they using these anti-gravity fields for warfare and other exploits?
Why am I now being asked to defend a fictional setting that doesn't exist? kek. I would be equally critical to said universe were it actually real.
Yes, they quite literally do this. Or are you the sort of moron comparing Super Robots to realistic mecha like Patlabor?
>I would be equally critical
The majority don't yet I don't see you disregarding sci-fi as a genre for that failing as you will with mechs. I don't think any sci-fi setting applies its technology to the fullest logical extent. Plus you had to ignore the bit about building on practically realistic designs which pretty much none do.
>Yet I don't see you disregarding sci-fi as a genre for that failing as you will with mechs.
Because mecha as a genre expects the viewer to either ignore lazy writing or to just accept that the people in this universe all happen to act irrationally.
>Because mecha as a genre expects the viewer to either ignore lazy writing
What are all alien encounters where the aliens are just painted humans?
What are all zombie movies where the slow undead somehow infect the entire world?
What is literally every Christopher Nolan movie that isn't capeshit?
Lazy writing
i don't give a frick Black person
This is the same type of homie who will swear up and down that dune is so realistic because frank herbert added a paragraph bullshitting his way out of adding sword combat to his sci-fi setting. Pro tip: if you ever encounter something unrealistic in a sci fi setting, particularly in a genre that needs to be narratively concise like films or video games, just assume there's an equally bullshit explaination to soothe your autism.
>the people in this universe all happen to act irrationally.
>This was never about realistic, it was about a setting selling itself and being believable.
Which many mecha properties do, autist.
Not him but accepting mechs are a thing because [whatever energy source] is your opener for suspension of disbelief and it rests there. Tell me, if you read fantasy and see a guy making flames with a snap do you go UHHHHHH WTF HOW IS HE DOING THIS?
The setting sells itself fine, I've seen plenty of "hard" sci-fi where people bullshit up the reasons for their shit working with made up sounding shit like the "Byorkstky Reaction" and normalgays buy it
>UHHHHHH WTF HOW IS HE DOING THIS?
You're also misunderstanding. The question isn't how but WHY. Why would someone with magical powers use them to cast fire? self explanatory.
Why would someone with an unlimited energy source who is in charge of developing military technology make a fricking transformer? Uhhh because its cool.
And for the record if a universe ever gave that as the answer I'd be okay with it, but usually the answer is something along the lines of "don't worry about it"
>"Byorkstky Reaction" and normalgays buy it
To be honest, a lot of Japanese scifi I love does that it always puts a smile on my face, and I'm pretty sure they're pretty niche and only liked by nerds
For me it's "Memeubotanium" that people fight over
because it isn't the coolest shit ever? why would i play a lame game with a boring dumb big robot when i could be a wizard at hogwarts? or a lizard/dragon man or elf that can use magic and fight squid men with my unique companions with their own stories and feelings and dreams and goals. or some super soldier killer badass like in cod or fortnite? or roam the stars in a ship i pilot go in and out of customize and live in and have super rad companions walking and talking and doing their best to help me save the world/worlds/galaxy? what about romance? there isn't any romance at all with big robots or mechs. they don't have genitals or feelings to reciprocate my advances. mechs are lame cause it's a lot less personal and less of a reflection of myself.
what gender is the giant big robot? not applicable. what are the pronouns of the big robot? not applicable. it's a nonliving vehicle that just carries my body to do cool stuff and i'm not seeing an avatar of myself do cool stuff so then it is not cool.
>when i could be a wizard at hogwarts?
Why did you immediately bring up one of the lamest things ever as an alternative to piloting a giant robot?
If you can't appreciate the pilots not being represented with anything but their AC/emblem then I don't know what to tell you and you won't be able to see things my way. For me at least the lack of up-front humanity in it puts a huge magnifying glass on the dialogue/actions they do perform.
For the record I like RPGs with human characters/companions and had fun with them but it's a whole separate thing.
It’s not an RPG. It’s a fast-paced mech simcade game more akin to a cross between ace combat and gran Turismo than dark souls.
I never said it was an RPG bro..... I was talking about my own experiences with traditional RPG games in comparison to how AC games just has a character's voice or something
>Why are normalgays so incapable of liking mechs?
Mechs are legitimately fricking moronic for anything other than looking at cool designs. That's why all mech games are fricking trash. In practice, MECHS ARE TRASH.
Why can't I pirate it now?
Pretty sure that troony empress will crack it.
This. I'm not even going to play it (not gonna waste time on it, just like how I'm not gonna waste time on any other bigname cracked games) but I'm looking forward to seeing it cracked just to see Fromdrones seethe.
People have to pay them to do it and I don't think anyone's gonna really bother
Dear Lord please let it filter Women, homosexuals, & non-whites. (Nips are white)
Please let them stay in soulslop so they can continue to fund my based mecha game.
Amen.
Witnessing troony journos having to pretend to like AC6 because it's a FROM game will be hilarious. It won't be profitable for them either because they won't find anything in the game to fuel outrage bait.
They’ll b***h about a mediocre story
>devs: hey we tried our best to make sure anyone with zero AC experience can play it, please try the game out even if you're a soulsgay 🙂
>anon: NO, THIS SHIT IS 100% HARDCORE AND MADE FOR ME, EVERYONE WILL GET FILTERED
Pathetic, to be quite honest with you, family.
Imagine saying this when it’s our shit that funded you mechhomosexualry. Bow down you ungrateful b***h
You’re both wrong as AC has always had difficulty selection, it can be as casual or hardcore as you need it to be
The difficulty setting in every game until 4 was completely worthless as the only thing it did was reduce the size of your lock-on box.
4 and FA's hard modes kicked ass though as the whole gimmick of "the plan has gone to shit" makes the missions far more interesting.
there's more browns playing ac than whites
>Bodytype A or B
>God is a troony
>strongest ever is le WOMXN!
>From is so based and bugs are white!
glow harder sheklestein
why is there target locking in a shooter
it's fromsoft so it's okay by /v standards
Because it's a mech, with a targeting computer. It's a soft lock that can be broken btw. Don't be moronic
Never played AC, love customization in all games, fan of mechwarrior.
How customizable are your guys in AC?
Swap the head, the chest, arms, legs, boosters, energy generator, internal lock-on components, and then the weapons on both arms (though they're going back to left arm gear being separate selections from the right again) and whatever equipment or weapons on both shoulders. Then you can paint every individual part of the machine, place emblems or stickers wherever, and even make it look shiny or rusted as frick.
Final question, is there close combat weapons and can I make my guy slow and tanky
there are shitty swords you use if you want to die
We haven't seen enough to really know how many shotguns or close-range weapons there are, but there are laser blades, robot kicks and pilebunkers for melee with the left arm. And there's literal tank tread legs, people just gotta get hands on to know how in-depth they can go with literal tankiness
>that UI
If this was western game instead of le based japanese slop, there would be endless threads complaining about how ugly it is
it looks like a normal gear selection UI what are you on about, the starfield menu reminds me of gmod menu
They're using denuvo or something? I'll probably just rent steam account with this game then.
anyone know if they're doing the free PS5 upgrade if you get the PS4 version? thinking of getting a 5 for this but not committed yet.
Sorry im poor.
Looks like you can get a PS5 upgrade:
I meant like how Elden ring lets u get a digital version of the PS5 version if u have the physical.
Not sure i saw a tag for it on boxart etc.
Thank u sir. will pre-order the 4 version.
Hopefully theres Cross saves like they did for RE4 and 8
Does not have Denuvo, only Arxan which is just one level above vmprotect and does virtually nothing. At worst we'll have wait 1 day.
Didn't Elden Ring have that and was bypassed almost instantly? Idk why people here are so prone to posting stupid shit.
Multiple cracking groups will have it done.
what the frick is Arxan anyway
Same online bullshit as denuvo but pirates can crack it
I think imma pass the launch, and buy it in a month or two. I'm broke af at the moment
sent 😉
what
check your inventory bro
don't play with my feelings like that anon, there is nothing there
Quit playing bro and just accept the gift
I don't even know who you are
I said quit playing...
I wish I was playing anon
Maybe you should stop sending lui superchats 🙁
And risk making her sad for not sending her at leas 1k a month? I don't think so
Ac can wait
it has no denuvo, meaning it will be cracked automatically once the preload finishes and someone uploads it
I'll play it for a dollar with an xbox game pass trial
its not on goypass
its like $400 and oos everywhere unless its reselller for more
>copy got delayed to next week
FRICK YOU AMAZON
They say i will get it on sept 1. It's going to get cancelled, right?
>copy
I am going to make mines based off the 30k world eaters color scheme
I like physical studd
no miyazaki no buy
Maybe I'm an ugly moron, but PvP in this game looks like it has no structure, like just spamming dodge going super fast, barely anything hitting..just a clusterfrick.
It seems to lack structure.
in the 3v3 certainly, it's just a destroyerfest of cruising and bruising. if we can turn respawns off players would be a lot less risky with their play, probably, besides the melee enthusiasts. 1v1 to the death is where you'll really see people trying to not take too much damage
youre right it fricking sucks to what we had before
remove respawns
There will be more modes later. They just want to see how it goes at first.
i can only hope and pray for answer
>there will never be a collection of AC4, FA, V and VD together with 60 FPS locked and online play intact
Watch the PVP guys in the showcase
They talk about what they played and their thoughts on it
same, never played an AC game before but the pvp looks like youre just flying around randomly holding the fire button hoping your rockets hit
i don't see the skill at all
PvP/AI in this series was always blitz or get blitzed. Hesitation is defeat.
Armored Core top 3 global on steam, beating out starfield.
What a timeline.
um, starfieldsisters?
startrannies should rope now
Tod sisters, our response ???
I still don't even know what starfield is
fallout in space
It doesn't say denuvo, soooo....
you deserve to be put down like a dog
>buy games!!!!!
why are they like this?
I'm not buying books not buying audiobooks not buying music not subscribing to a streaming service not buying games not buying programs
I only respect that if you do it out of necessity (because I've been there) and not out of being a cheap ass Black person
I don't need your validation you dumb motherfricker
and yet you cared enough to respond
yes and? look I'll do it again
Why pay for it when I can get it for free? Not like multiplayer is worth anything in this game.
i'm black btw
give it back
If they added a 3v3 battle mode with AI fodder campaign enemies on each side I would probably consider this the peak of gaming. Also isn't it weird to anyone else that mecha is considered a 'niche' game genre when a cool vehicle blowing shit up is basically just peak video games and a natural fit for the medium?
It will be cracked day fricking 1 and I will send a magnet instantly.
? What's this?
Well would you look at that.
>PS5
why would I be mad
Cringe
BASED, mine arrives in two days hopefully
Wtf the copies are coming early?
Yup jetting off Ganker
Bro? The script is already leaked.
Pretty crazy that people got buckbrocken into thinking Souls has good story when they ran that gimmick into the ground and the story hasn't been "good" since 1.
Normalgays can't really empathize with a character represented only by their mech and an emblem though, they need Hortmeister the Solmen Knight to vaguepost before appearing in a random place to try to kill you
when will the reviews come out?
i wont pre order it unless its confirmed its 9+ Metacritic
THERES TOO MANY FRICKING GAMES IN A SHORT PERIOD FUUUUUCK
>BALDUR'S GATE 3
>ARMORED CORE 6
>STARFIELD
HOW THE FRICK AM I SUPPOSE TO PLAY ALL THIS SHIT THEY'RE ALL 1000 HOURS LONG
>AC
>100 hours long
>they don't know
armoured core has way over 250 levels and that's not even mentioning the other 50 side levels you can go in.
You're delusional if you expect more than 20 hours, tops.
AC levels are more often than not like 5 minutes long dude
ac games are like 9 hours to 100% unless you suffer from moronation. what the absolute frick is your post
>Armored Core 6
>1000 hours long
I mean you CAN spend 1000 hours probably but if it's anything like past entries you could probably beat it in literally a single sitting
only ac is worth playing
You're not white if the most ambitious exploration game ever made doesn't excite you.
I'm not a zoomer so I know any space game with these lofty promises especially by Todd are Starbound tier. Zoomers are literally getting fooled by the SAME EXACT "SEE THAT MOUNTAIN YOU CAN CLIMB IT" thing word for word a decade+ later
But you can actually climb it.
And Todd wasn’t wrong in the video when he said that either you can climb the break falls barrow mountain.
Taste issue, literally just don't play any of them.
So much slop I can't keep up
baldurs gate and starfield will take you 100+ hours to finish (im 60 hours in bg3 and only just got to act 3). AC will prob be 30-40 hours
>1000 HOURS
>he doesn't know
This is gonna be the biggest AC game.
cope
erm, what?
Instead of paying $80CAD I got it off a keysite for $61. Only downside I might not get to play ASAP.
Also Arxan is dogshit, game is gonna get cracked in a couple days max.
Why can't I pirate
because op is shill gayg
>make shitty games for years
>people call it shit
>make the same shitty games now
>cult fanbase will say it's good because company name
fromsloppers are legit the easiest monkeys to manipulate in the industry
LOOK MOM I POSTED IT AGAIN
>I hate jurnos except when they agree with me
Its only a matter of time before they start saying ninja blade was a masterpiece
>you can't pirate it
Shills are getting shameless lately
There's too many games releasing right now and I'm running out of money. Why do so many games have to be releasing in the same month?
Elden Ring has Arxan and it was cracked in a day.
Pirates always win.
GOATen Ring
Armored GOAT
We just keep winning from bros
Bros, should I get this or Sea of Stars?
Both, and Blasphemous 2, and Ys X, and Eternights, and Lies of P, and Starfield, and Dead Cells Return to CastleKino physical, and CastleKino Advance Collection physical, and...
Watching Gundam I realized that big Mechs are only interesting when they're in a city, why? Because it's fun to watch them destroy everything
>BIG ROBOTS IN SPACE
What's even the point, what's the difference from big to small when you're in endless space
but what about
>zero gravity battles in space colonies
They're also fun when they're inside or using the colony itself in the battle, when it's just space fights it sucks
i shall wait for the crack, no way i am paying greedy bandai their shitty regional pricing

story spoiler on thread
Them chinks worked fast.
And with this I'm out.
Say hi to the shazamhomosexual for me bros
If it's supposed to run well on a steamdeck, it should run on my PC that could handle Elden Ring on mid graphics without issue, no?
Still can't decide if PC or PS5 version would be better.
Anyone share screenshots of the leaked copy of game?
I don't play armored core, so coming at this from an outsider perspective but, is a mecha game supposed to have such tight dodging and fast movement? It feels like every fromsoft game is about doing tight quick dodges. At least to me it doesn't sound like big robot combat, though maybe the other armored core games are like that too.
Older games weren't fast by any means, but you had to act fast to dodge missiles in older games just like you do in the current ones.
You can make a beeg slow boi or a thin fasd boi or anything in between. But generally yes combat tends to be on the faster side - think ace combat.
>At least to me it doesn't sound like big robot combat
Becuse it isn't, nuSoft is simply pandering to soulsgays, originally AC was very slow and immersive game
Yeah aside from those 2 jet plane games coincidentally directed by Miyazaki. Though 4A was decent.
Go to /m/ you fricking nerds.
Is the multiplayer fun this time around? Only reason I'd ever pay for this game is if there is good coop. The pvp for these games always suck and nauseating.
No co-op, just PvP. Anticipating modders may be able to figure it out though.
give it 1,2 months for the empress to do her magic
I'm buying a hard copy for my Series X on Friday because I'm not a poorgay.
>Series X
>not a poorgay

How so? It has no Denuvo.
it has arxan which is basically just denuvo
Don't listen to the shill, arxan is shit and will get cracked within 2 days.
So.... If I pre-order I'll receive shit that's going to make me stronger in early game? Why would I want that......
You're just getting parts that you can get on your own, early.
>Multi-quoting
Yep, another Discord troon who flicks its mutilated axe wound bean to (you)s.
It's selling six times more on Playstation...
Xbox has the Gamepass effect-their audience are broke bums...
>It's selling six times more on Playstation
Isnt that still at least 5.5 times the xboxes?
Why would I want to play a FromSlopware game?
Normalgays always assume robots are like, 50 meters tall anyway. They have no sense of scale. They'll see a pilot climb into the chest of a 10 meter robot and just instantly go "huh, that is way too big, it must be super massive, how silly". You basically have to hold their hand every step for them to grasp it.
There's little point, they wont appreciate it, and the fans already know.
what if
mecha knights
>Frame Gride
Unfortunately it doesn't fulfill your exact requirements because FG literally just plays like AC but with magic lasers instead of technological lasers. Maybe they can revisit the idea if AC6 does well enough.
Knights & Magic was such a dog water anime
Damn that nig who got starfield also got AC6? What a lucky gentleman.
this is fake btw
It isn't.
It is, I've seen it posted months ago. Plus the pixels
Those are live leaks from tieba.
Also. I have obtained my copy.
Prove it, make a video on youtube of you playing it like the Black person on starfield has done today.
wtf is wrong with your thumb bro
I think I will have time before playing it, I have to play previous armored core after all
>fromslop
>PS3 era engine
>DirectX 12 only
Umm Win7chads?
just update kitten
The game has been in development for 7 years.
>Reminder that you can't pirate it
I prefer to support good developers, so that wouldn't cross my mind. Also, the doomposters are progressively losing their sanity with From's growing success, which I find amusing.
>Games subhumans are excited for
Games the most civilized race is excited for
>still believing Japan as a whole doesn't have shit taste
>caring about any of these games

>Japan interested = game good
Yes
>czechia
>turkiye
>uk
>germany
>norway
No wonder only 3rd world countries are hyped up for a garbage game.
Asia confirmed based.
We are fricking home, asianchads.
>Indonesia

>Vietnam
lmao at SEA weebs pretending to be japanese, probably the same homosexuala who love vtumor too
>uses the english title to try and say that Japan isn't hype for Armored Core 6
>meanwhile in reality
Blue is Armored Core in Japanese. It had more searches in Japan then Starfield and Starfield in Japanese combined.
nobody in japan owns an XBOX or gamepass and few have the pc hardware to run Starfield.
Did companies forget that the most profitable games have conservative hardware requirements.
Hey that's me! the small red line MX stronk!
Another comparison. This is really Japan's game.
oops
To be fair no one knows what the frick Armored Core is until last year.
Normalgays like that grifter Vaati and his ilk sure
It's over
fine
>waits 1 year to buy it for 10 dollars
plenty of other shit to play right now
I pre-ordered on GameBillet. I hope they give me the key in time to pre-order.
Not interested. It will be fun seeing all the fromsoft drones buy it and rage when it's not like the souls games though.
I honestly think Most From "fans" don't care. They're stewing waiting for nearly 2 years for their Elden Ring DLC. Only a handful of people care about this game outside of JP as usual. The only reason this even has regular threads on here recently is because this is a weebsite. Maybe it will do surprisingly well like Sekiro but don't underestimate non-Japs' disdain for mecha.
hey everypony, this year kind of sucks for video games, huh?
>picrel
Bros... I thought todd was the one with bugs...
stop posting these fakes and make a video instead. point your phone at the screen and record it.
Special, hidden senjutsu. Prease understand.

>Dumbdozer can fall off
lel it's better this way. As long as it doesn't softlock you or some shit like that. Finally some kinojank
OH NO NO NO HAHHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHA
>I am sure to win because my MT's size is superiACK!
I plan on buying AC6, but I also await a crack for the PC version as well. You can love a game without dicksucking DRM.
>Reminder that you can't pirate it
I bought the game and I'm telling you now, anon, they'll be able to pirate it soon enough. Its not Denuvo, its Arxan. I can't think of a single game that uses it and its likely the games that do are already cracked.
>Reminder that you can't pirate it
Kek, don't you worry.
Reminds me of Elden Ring launch. Bought the game on steam but it had really poor performances. I saw the game getting cracked in one day so I decided to refund and just pirate it. Best decision I made last year and ever since that incident I don't buy games anymore
Based. I'm buying the game, but good on you piratebros for beheading the DRM beast.
Wait you can finish the game on steam and then refund it?
t. never once bought a game
You can, if you're fast enough to beat the game in question in under 2 hours.
I'm waiting for the dlc so that I can pirate the whole package
I have never played an armored core game in my life but im still buying AC6 because it's the only AAA game with really fast paced gameplay/movement getting released in the last few years
Didn't Baldur's Gate sell fantastically without antipiracy measures? Seems kind of like a waste of money to implement.
They're japs, DRM is something they'll simp for unless some western higher up tells them that its pointless in the end, See Sega
I’m fine with buying one game here or there.
>unironically using japan as a basis for a good game
ah yes, the nation of gacha cúcks telling me which game is good
Japan didn't create MTX or gacha

go back to doing your homework
(you)
>Japan didn't create gacha
It's a fricking Japanese word. They created actual gacha before what you know as "gacha" (games) existed, and then also that.
They're to blame for vtumors as well.
kek the games come out in 2days and yet no leaks....It over
There are leaks posted already but not by Tyrone on his phone so it's not as funny
There's some leak by this one chink and some Aussies got to play it earlier.
>no leaks
https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1784y1Z77o/?spm_id_from=333.999.0.0
The chink only got to Balteus around 8 hours into the game.
Are there any chingchong streams of the game already?
Some guy on reddit said he's already in chapter 4. Of course he didn't say shit for spoiler sake.
>beep beep
>beep beep
>beep beep
Not only does it warn you about every incoming attack so you never have to be paying much attention, it also makes an annoying sound every time. What the frick were they thinking?
It ain't a mech game without a b***hing betty
it would be weirder without the super advanced robot not telling you when the enemy has lock-on to you
Beeping and sounds are part of Armored Core. The boosters, missile lock, blade, and Karasawa shoot sound are burned into my brain from playing AC2.
Kino.
>cdkeys is down
Its over

thanks for reminding me
>Reminder that you can't pirate it
yeah sure buddy
>Reminder that you can't pirate it
Where are the morons claiming the interest for this game is completely organic and not from paid shills?
>Reminder that you can't pirate it
Judging from the gameplay videos I've seen so far, I don't even want to, lmao
Wow a lot of salty poor gay pirates in the thread.
t.scamco shill
Empress is literally a troony hitman for hire to crack games on behalf of a gaming companies to cause monetary loss.
Is this supposed to make buying a DRM license worth it? Hiring shills to make people pre-order it out of FOMO?
ZOE is going to remain as the king of mecha games isn't it
Zoe isn't a mech game
Neither is AC
Yeah okay buddy
i accept your concession
The first ZoE was total shit, and most AC games are still better than ZoE2. Maybe not this one.
>Le MILLIONS of options for mech customization
>The meta will be established in the first week and there will be 10 parts top that is viable

You do know AC has had PVP meta since literally the very first game right
>Soul tourist doesnt know that 80% of the fun of AC is PVP

Not him but the fun in AC PvP is seeing weird ass builds you didn't think of. Regardless of if you stomp them or they stomp you

Mech games aren't an actual genre of game.
>mumugfuggin mech warrior bixnood..boxwood...
Mech Warrior is a simulation game.
Neither is anything else a genre

Am I going to have to farm easy missions with a rifle and a sword to get enough credits to go fricking nuts with grenade launchers and other good shit?
Just use less ammo. Simple as.
Check the price of your guns ammo. Energy weapons used to be free so maybe that still holds.
Guy who posted that claimed to use a lot of missiles.
Just don't die so you don't have to get a top off
But yeah since you can freely replay missions you can always go back and farm if you wind up in the red.
Pure kino in coming guys.
yesssssssss
>no debts
if you get excited by this you are genuinely braindead
Literally has been irrelevant since Gen 4 anyways.
here comes the braindead audience defending casualization
AC was never hardcore either.
>muh debt
Focus on S ranking and no damage, autismo.
AC hasn't had a debt system in fricking years long before AC6 was even a tinkle
None of this shit even matters. The payouts and mission ranks are far from the game's main issues.
Although the fact that they're pulling so much garbage from gen4-5 and thinking it's fine because they already did it once doesn't help.
What is the game's main issue?
There are several, all of which you've already heard about, and I won't let you bait me into an argument because I have a headache.
OK bro.
You didn't name anything
All of those points have been btfo'd. Here and on /acg/.
Just give up lol.
You think they've been "btfo" because all you have in your head is brand loyalty and "anti-shills" or whatever the buzzword of the day is.
If it truly was the case, nobody who actually gives a shit about AC as a series would complain anymore. And if you believe that as well, you're truly delusional.
I don't care about anything you said. I just think all of the point have been disproven with facts provided by people who have actually played the game.
So is balancing weapons' ammo cost a big factor in ac customisation?
No, you just have to git gud and/or grind.
>Armored Core
>not a mech game
The absolute state of Ganker.
It's not an Armored Core game, however, despite the title. Pretty weird.
Holy cope.
AC isn't mech
Elden ring didn't have denuvo
AC6 has Arxan anti-tamper.
>game is so hyped Ganker is anti-shilling
We so back ACchads.
Reminds me of ER's launch.

What makes you so mad doe?
im not mad but you sound upset that i just shat on your game though, have fun there playing with jap transformers fricking weeb lol
uh oh scamco shills aren't going to like this
There you guys go again. Going all gugu gaga over childish impractical little gay robots. May I suggest you look into, I don't know, maybe, FIGHTER JETS? Argument being THEY'RE FRICKING REAL and not a little peen chink phantasy. Oh yeah I guess you're afraid of getting a sudden test boost . Keep phantasising about your little chinky battlebots while I rip through the skies homosexuals.
I already played 4Answer.
No one uses fighter jets in real life anyway, just look at the Ukraine war. Might as well fantasize with robots
Fighter jets may as well be toys just like mecha, Drones are what everyone uses
>be in a fighter jet
>enemy missiles have target lock
>out of chaff
>die
>be in a mech
>enemy missiles have target lock
>walk behind wall
>live
Stop phantasising weebio
No.
