you forgot to mention he did absolutely nothing against the apocalypse
Terenas was never a warrior or strategist, his big thing was diplomacy and statecraft. His actual failure during the scourging of lorderan is not calling on his allies immediately after Stratholme gets shoahed. The second largest city in your kingdom gets wiped out and you don't think to ask Dalaran or Quel'thalas to send real reinforcements and not literally one teenage girl.
How did Jaina and Uther completely b***h out and still remain respected heroes to this day? They could have prevented everything if they just helped Arthas
Honestly it makes no sense whatsoever for them to just leave at that point. Arthas just declared his intent to purge an entire city (to prevent a massive outbreak and deny the scourge a powerful stronghold in the region), and they just fricking leave him to do it after b***hing a bit, not even sticking around to see what he means. This writing is so bad it almost seems intentional.
Uther is a big moron, Jaina is a woman. Neither of them are capable of smart decisions.
They leave because the alternative is treason, Arthas offers everyone with a moral compunction to disobey his orders the ability to leave without consequence. Staying means you're complicit in the massacre
I can understand Jaina leaving because she's just a mage and a woman, but Uther didn't seem like a moron until that moment. If Arthas was wrong, wouldn't it be Uther's duty as a paladin to stop him (after finding out whether he was wrong or not)? If Arthas was right, wouldn't it be his duty to do something to prevent Stratholme from becoming Naxxramas-lite?
I guess cucking before the law (which doesn't really apply to situations like that) could be in-character for Uther, but it still seems contrived imo.
You mentioned cuckolding before the law.
It makes sense if drop the larp for uther being an amazing warrior and realize he was more of a bureaucrat than a fighting paladin.
>Arthas offers everyone with a moral compunction to disobey his orders the ability to leave without consequence
he says that after uther leaves. I think uther leaves because he wants to tell terenas arthas has gone bonkers.

they're both talking past eachother. Arthas has seen some shit and knows that if they leave stratholme to the scourge it would give them an overwhelming army. Uther doesnt know that and still lives in fairytale land where they can just lay hands on people and it will be okay.
>see his son come back home from a journey to a frozen nightmare of a land >with a sword covered in frost and skulls >armour is covered in skulls >welcome him with open arms
>literal zombie apocalypse going on >son goes missing >find out he fricked off to antartica chasing a demon >somehow your son returns in spite of all this >oh no he's dressed a little edgy
The one correct thing wow did was show Terenas didn't hold the patricide against his son.
>had to deal with first orc invasion >all the orc shit in tides of darkness >Lordaron under siege and he barely survives >Tried peace with Doomhammer >orc uprisings and second war >eventually things settle down >phew >FRICKING UNDEAD INVASION >backstabbing up the arse >killed by his son
Terenas had a rough life
1 is really rough, 2 has a rebuild on hive that even keeps the selection limits while adding the QoL improvements of 3, so if you just want story do that.
>>>had to deal with first orc invasion
the orcs only fight stormwind in WC1. lordaeron is added in WC2.
Speaking of which, why doesnt he try to evacuate people to stormwind when shit was going wild. >the plague would follow them
it would also follow them to kalimdor but medivh still told them that was a good idea
Stormwind was barely rebuilt after the second war; Varian had just been sent back home a year or two before. It's likely Stormwind would collapse under a huge influx of refugees who'd need to get there through ongoing orc revolts, multiple troll tribes, whatever was going on in dun morough, and through dark iron/blackrock territory.
That's also discounting at the time Terenas is the head of the alliance and appearing unable to control his nation could have major political ramifications with allies as unreliable and self absorbed as Dalaran, Kul Tiras, and Quel'thalas. I think Stromgarde is also collapsing at the time due to Ogre and Troll tribes.
>demonic being whose species is known for trickery, israeliteery, and puppetry: "hey Arthas come follow me thousands of miles away to this shithole nothing bad will happen" >Arthas: "haha sure bro no problem"
Dreadlords are known for trickery now, but this was at the very least Arthas's first interaction with them, and I doubt any but maybe the Kirin Tor and the Elves would have known of them at all, let alone their status as the japists of the burning legion
>for no reason
because uther recalled him >they got killed just because
because he shifted the blame on them. If he told his men he burnt the boats they would probably revolt.
Jania and uther had no plan,
He didn't frick Jaina.
But enough about Cuck'thas
>replace ar with cuck'
why?
He replaced Kael with cuck.

Wrong.
And you're a nazi if you think he was right.
He was just a human wrestling with the Jailor(a cosmic god-like being).
Yes, without a doubt. If Jana and Uther had not abandoned him, may have never picked Frostmourne and still kill Mal'Ganis.
How did Jaina and Uther completely b***h out and still remain respected heroes to this day? They could have prevented everything if they just helped Arthas
Uther got rightfully killed and Jaina became a seething b***h just to cope
Honestly it makes no sense whatsoever for them to just leave at that point. Uther, a veteran of the second war, tried negotiating with the blackrock clan. Everything you see of uther in WC3 is moronic
>cucking before the law
Paladins are just ZOGbots.
>Arthas offers everyone with a moral compunction to disobey his orders the ability to leave without consequence

He lied to his men and betrayed the mercenaries who fought for him.
wrong, chud
>see his son come back home from a journey to a frozen nightmare of a land
>with a sword covered in frost and skulls
>armour is covered in skulls
>welcome him with open arms
why is terenas so fricking stupid
You've never been a father
Probably thought he was just going through a phase lol.

Man I should really play WC1 and 2 one of these days

probably assumed it was looted form his enemies and it came with cool stats
>demonic being whose species is known for trickery, israeliteery, and puppetry: "hey Arthas come follow me thousands of miles away to this shithole nothing bad will happen"

Even then, going to THAT extreme of an offensive just because you're a seething buttbaby is a bit much.
Let it go, Illidan
>some demon torments you for months, kills countless of your subjects.
>forces you to put an entire city to the sword
>wtf why does he get so reckless
I couldn't care less about the trash that is WoW
I really wished we had more real fricking warcraft games
>I really wished we had more real fricking warcraft games
Blizzard is dead Anon.
You really DON'T want a WC4
>Mal'ganis didn't really die
>Muradin didn't really die
>Uther died but did stupid WoW shit
This is what triggers me the most, because of WoW half the stuff Arthas did got retconned to hell and back
>arthas was still good inside and kept jainas locket as a memento
WOW just plundered lore and characters to feed the content mill.
Without lore to shit on, the restless MMORPGgays will become an even greater threat! There must always be a lore hero they can trample on.
they just reheat an old character. Illidan has been a villain 3 times I think?
He a good boy now. Dindu nuffin
killing his horse was pretty wrong
I no joke look one for one with Arthas. Where do I get his armour?
The frozen roof of the world, with only death to sing of your doom.
I love how often they say "roof of the world" in these games. also DEFEND YOURSELVES
he did, he killed the mercenaries he hired to help him destroy the boats for no reason, they did a job and they got killed just because
other than that event, he did nothing wrong
>for no reason
because uther recalled him
>they got killed just because
because he shifted the blame on them. If he told his men he burnt the boats they would probably revolt.
Another thread of hispanics who misunderstand a 20 year old game for teenagers
I want to make a new Warcraft clone with this art style
He didn't watch his tone.
