Yeah I bought it a while back. It's okay but nothing great. It mostly focuses on slower paced management rather than microoing units around. Felt a bit empty to me at the time. Maybe they added more content since I last played it though.
I remember discovering this at school and replaying as much as I could because I had no idea how to save a game.
Actually I didn't know any english. Seeing how huge this game actually was recently was satisfying in a way that's hard to describe. What a fricking amazing game, artwork and music especially so.
I'd buy a remake of this like the recent C&C one. I wish they'd go through Westwood's entire catalogue and do that.
I wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of license frickery that prevents ea or whoever own right to the game right now from doing the remake.

someone tried Dune: Spice Wars?
Looks a bit like another CIV clone bit I would like to be wrong

if you've played Northgard you'll notice it's basically the same game with some brown paint
well company the banner on steam is a bit suspicious.
is it worth the time?
Based, replayed the harkonnen campaign not long ago. The last missions are probably some of the hardest rts missions ever

Yes I'm definitely shilling a 20+ year old game where not even the publisher is alive today
sneeding this
Never played it.
You need a conversation starter for a succesful thread, and i see no such thing here.

heh, nothing personal
Fun fact: Sonic tanks in the original Dune 2 had their range tied to gamespeed. The faster the game, the longer the range.
>nothing personel kiddo
I still think there hasn't been a better looking RTS since this game.
