If you walk in a straight line or aren't paying attention, sure. You can move your head hitbox, you can listen for shots and time it, you can coordinate with your team, you can spam his location or suspected locations.

I remember when it came out, I ran about two dozen tours on the hardest scale. We were always just randoms with whatever loadouts and classes we wanted.

I got kicked a lot playing Spy in MvM, but I was damn good at the class. The Meta was just a suggestion for newbies to have a balanced team, but any decent player can do well with most anything.

So like, in MvM you can get golden guns, and there's a community of people that try to control the supply of golden guns. Usually they try to cover up the fact they're trying to do market manipulation by claiming that they're worried about "the integrity" and "the challenge" of the game mode, when it's really mostly about making sure solo queues have such a bad time they just leave so they can control the supply of golden guns. These golden guns go for roughly $50 to $100

Also you may (Very Very rarely) receive a golden frying pan worth $5600 and they REALLY don't want people outside of their community getting those.

i am not defending how other people behave, but gas passer at least trivializes the mode. yeah i get that mvm is a boring as frick gamemode and the entire appeal is to hopefully get a golden pan drop. but gas passer makes it even more of a snoozefest. like i can't even shoot bots tier good, it wipes out entire groups of enemies from explosions, and instantly recharges due to damage despite the cloud itself already persisting and continuing to frick hoards of enemies down. if you play mvm for fun, i get why that would bother you. but if you are playing for money then whats even the problem with running cheese loadouts and spinbots
