I despise console war discussions (I'm not 15 anymore), but I noticed how for most generations consoles pushed up the visual fidelity and artistry in games. Don't get me wrong, PCs can brute force higher resolutions and framerates (usually of console ports), and there are those 6 or 7 exceptions people are still clinging to after decades, but that's it.
In short, imagine consoles as a beautiful painting in slightly lower resolution, while PC is a hilariously bad drawing at 8K.
