I'd try to clear some water with rock and pillar, more specifically, the bottom left and bottom middle water squares of water
then change water is sink to have a prefix, like 'rock on water is sink'
I haven't played the game in a long time so I could be wrong
I haven't read your spoilers, but I'm pretty sure I need to make rock/pillar on water is sink, so that actual water doesn't sink, but I can't figure out how to do that
It seems like I need to do something with the fact that pillar is stop but rock isn't, so I can move a pillar into the rock, but I can't move both of them at the same time, and even if I could, that doesn't help. There are only several combinations that I can make out with these words, and none of those make me come up with a solution. Rock on Pillar is Push doesn't do shit, Pillar on Rock is Push just moves it one block, Rock is Pillar just leaves the word Rock useless, Pillar is Rock is impossible, so I'm definitely missing some bigger picture here, cause none of these seem to be hinting towards making water not sink
I can't doo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. I'm moving words into the rock, thinking maybe breaking the rules by pushing the pillar into it would do something but I think I tried fricking everything I could. I really hope I'm actually missing something and it's not a bullshit interaction like falling objects not being affected by Defeat.
I still can't understand what I'm supposed to do with the rock and pillar and how to use the fact that one of them is not stop

think about how the rules present in the scene would logically interact with each other.

bro, that's what I've been doing for the past fricking hour, there are like 5 combinations I can make out of those. I even tried some bullshit with the ON placement, but didn't discover anything new. I'm afraid to look up a solution now, I feel so moronic

THINK ABOUT THE OTHER RULES.

I also looked at everything and the only 2 things that catched my attention were text is float and pillar is stop. But text is float just allows text to go on the water or rock, and pillar is stop allows the pillar to go into the rock which I still haven't figured out how to utilize.

almost there. now think about how you can use this to your advantage.

I think the first step towards the solution is throwing the pillar at the bottom middle water. Then position the rock under the bottom left water and make it not push. If you can make it push from inside then your on the right track.
One of the first things I tried, even before realizing that I was supposed to make water not sink was pushing the strings of text into the water thinking maybe it'd give me something, but no success. I also saw 2 hints here now saying that I should try to break the bottom left water, but I can't get anything on the sides of the water, I can only move things on the middle part, or put something right above the word WATER. I thought about having the rock push the words ROCK IS PUSH so that the rule breaks and I can go through it, but I didn't have any success with it either.
Baba is such a shit game, because you don't know how the things interact unless you try everything. It's a waste of time. A good game would remind you of what does what, so you can consider the possibilities from there. >Baba is You is like tryingto figure out x+y=3 >instead it should be 2+y=3
There were only a couple of bullshit interactions like that among hundreds that I just thought "oh yeah, that's right", but EMPTY is complete BS that I refuse to understand

>EMPTY
Isn't that the one that covers the screen with Baba? shit lags my Vita something fierce.

EMPTY is literally just every tile that is empty. Yes, you can make a rule EMPTY is BABA so your whole screen is covered in babas but it's like the simples usage of EMPTY. When it gets to bullshit like EMPTY is PUSH or EMPTY is PULL this gets way too mindfricky
The frick can anyone grasp from this picture, where the frick is the rock now, the frick.
The main thing you need to see here is that the Moon (aka me) is under the Star (aka win) so I essentially completed the level

yeah I was just thinking to myself "why the frick is the pillar in the level at all, what's the point of pillar is stop". Probably as a red herring or something
It's not strictly necessary since the movement that makes the new rule already makes you not sink, but I'm not sure if that sort of rule bending is too advanced
You also need the word 'pillar', so it'd be weird if you have access to the word but not the object. You could have the word 'rock' twice, but that kind of gives up on the fact that you need to put the other word out of reach
>turn the rock into a pillar >push it into the water >push the word pillar over in front of the water is sink >only pillars sink now >not Baba
well played, you piece of shit game.
Touch the star
how the frick do I get to the star
move the moon over the water.

think about what other modifiers are present in the scene.

right track, wrong direction.
just keep thinking about what everything does.

I remember for that puzzle I had to make X ON WATER IS SINK. Figuring out how is the hard part.
Rock on, little Baba

Holy shit
you did it anon
I'd like to thank everyone who helped me along this journey, now excuse me while I go jerk off to a picture of Yomi from Azumanga
>didn't even need the pillar to clear the other water square
holy shit

I had a handful of levels I never completed but I'm scared to go back and realize I forgot everything.
