I stopped using and talking to him the moment I learned he ate magic items. The fact that I get to dodge him magically date-raping me is a bonus.
It's only about 3 - 4 items and you get showered in "magic" items throughout the entire game so it doesn't really matter.
If you play Sorcerer the entire dialogue tree has special options for the class and it's basically about how you're better than him because you're a sorcerer and it makes it easy for you.
And through the whole thing even if you choose nothing lewd or sensual related to it, he still gets turned on and wants to frick you.
