SC6 was a solid 8/10 game.
No it wasn't dude. Reused assets out the...ass, bare bones story mode, absolutely HALF-ASSED customization and Create a Character mode, etc. The core gameplay was there, but the rest of it was not.
Soulcalibur 5 was the only game in the franchise people "didn't like" and it was still a success by Soulcalibur standards. Soulcalibur 6 exceeded their sales goals and Bamco has said before that they're very pleased with how it did.
It had problems, sure, but that didn't stop me from putting 1k hours into it lmao
