We have lived long enough to see a mecha game get over 100k concurrent players. This is a milestone for gaming.
Maybe Bamco will actually make a gundam game like Crossfire again
>niche game
>has niche numbers
>ZOMG FROMSISTERS WHAT WENT WRONG WHY IS THE BEAR FROM BG3 FRICKING US SO HARD?!!?
That's higher than Sekiro's initial number, fricking impressive for a mecha game I gotta say.
Higher than Sekiro, almost definitely going to surpass DS3.
What were you expecting?
>moderately sized game gets moderate numbers
this is a success. it's like how drive became so big off of a budget of $16 million. armored core is the drive of video games.
I'll be booting it up tonight after my company leaves. Though probably not for long as I'm still playing through Elden Ring.
You fricking a b***h bro?
This shit is about to mog older DS titles in numbers. That's impressive since it's a mecha game of all things.
>128k for fricking Armored Core
>Bad
only Ganker things.
would have 0 players if it was the exact same game made by a different dev. people just aren't interested in it, it's a filler game. the only saving grace is the fromsoft sticker
I'll get it on black friday
Seems pretty good, i'm down for a good and hard time.
Any rich ACbros willing to gift a game for a fellow mecha fan poorgay?
>Any rich ACbros willing to gift a game for a fellow mecha fan poorgay?
have a nice day, beggar
It's already cracked
Can't play pvp then
AC6 was always going to be niche compared to Souls/ER. Mecha is just a much more niche genre in general.
>3rd-highest peak for a Fromsoft game
Seems pretty good to me.
The real question is whether or not it'll be able to beat DS3's peak.
It's not even friday yet in burgerland so it's very possible
It will go to 175k during weekends
It will go a bit higher but I doubt that it will break the 200k mark.
Holy shit elden ring hit those numbers
>why is this robot game not as huge as this giga open world rpg co-created by george r.r martin
lol
Try the numbers again in a day's time and at the weekend when the majority of first-world people who actually work get their hands on it, shitter.
Even then it won't reach ER numbers but the number will be pretty respectable.
bigger than SF6 and RE4make too?
what kind of moron would play that on pc? some games like fromsoft and resident evil are just meant to be played on a console
>noooooooo
they're better on console. the same way shitty games no one likes like counter strike or diablo are better on pc
>fighting games on pc are le bad
is this 2007 again?
I'm still on BG3. I'll get to AC6 soon. Starfield should be right after too, damn what a great month.
This franchise is normally very unpopular and niche, but because of bandwagoning Souls series fans it's got 10x the amount of players it would have normally. At least that's what I think
Cause mechs are gay. Vehicles of war should be simple and efficient at killing. Mechs are to tanks and other war vehicles what fantasy swords are to real swords.
How this game will impact the mecha genre outside of Japan? Will it give it new life and bamco start bringing over anime mecha games, or japs will make new IPs centered on gritty, realistic mechs?
Too busy playing BG3 still
The Juggernaut is a stupid, boring, unfun fight.
