Still a broken ass game on my PC. Cars popping in and out 5 feet in front of me on ultra settings lmao. That was release tho. Haven't played this shit since then.
stop being a bootlicker
they released pic related. this is not a settings issue. they had fricking 2d sprites for mid-range LoD models on all settings.
oh, did they make the story any less asinine or the dialogue options any less worthless? no? then frick off.
they released broken garbage and now it's slightly less broken but still garbage.
You moved the goalposts, dipshit. The original point was the the game was only bad on shit systems, which is false.
Then you said "oh but it's totally fixed now" which doesn't address the original point at all.

He was implying the game is bad because the graphics were bad, I said 1.5 fixes that and then he started to complain about the story. If you cannot keep track of a 3 post discussion there's no reason to reply to you anymore.

He was implying all it's technical problems were due to poor hardware. In reality it was due to poor development.
Cleaning up the mess after the fact does not change the garbage quality of the original release that they had the fricking audacity to sell.
The game was in development for almost 9 years. This isn't a strict deadline problem. If your studio can't shit out a competent game in 9 years then there is something very wrong. At least SC has the excuse that if its development ever stops then the dev stops getting money as a reason to take that long.
>sorry sir your food is raw. It's not the chef's fault he wasn't given enough time.
I'M SORRY I MUST'VE MISSED THE PART WHERE THAT'S MY PROBLEM
It doesn't help that they scrapped about 4 iterations of the game and started from scratch. The vertical slice they showed at e3 in 2018 or 2019 was literally all they had then they cobbled something together in about a year or two. With that in mind its not surprising how lackluster it was. They should have just kept working on it
You give israelitebisoft the same sympathy for Unity? Ofcourse the devs don't make the deadlines but that's not the customer's fault. Releasing an unfinished game should get you fricking blackballed. Day 1 patches being a thing is fricking disgusting. You'll take preorder money when the game isn't finished then release the game in that state? Frick you.
i think this is true to an extent, i had fun playing this game and was really interested in the story and how it all played out, i liked most of the endings and they were all unique and nice in their own ways
It's a 6/10 game that launched with some serious problems, it's not bad but it's not great either. It's medicore in almost every aspect and that's the issue. CD projekt red used to be able to produce much better but a lot of their talent has left the studio, long, long before this game even started developement.
I was wise enough to play after the first round of patches and was able to complete the game without issue. Which is also unfortunate because I would have liked to encountered some of those bugs myself. The only downside to the game for me is the “good” ending I suppose.
game was ok but I never finished it. played it on launch with 5800x and 3080, ran ok I guess but needed dlss quality which was quite ghosty on launch probably fixed now.
I would play it through but they still haven't added toggle aim down sights. I don't like holding RMB to aim so I just ran around with melee and shotgun him firing.
It's more that they're okay with enjoying flawed products without shitting themselves. Also they don't have the political shit flinging fueling the hate for things that the US has
I liked the game even though I know it lacks what was promised, needed a much longer main quest and much more side stuff.
I am amazed though at the hate boner it gets, even between close friends, if I dare mention I liked Cyberpunk 2077 or bought merchandise for it people almost feel attacked on a personal level.
I kind of want to try Cyberpunk but it looks so buggy and shallow
I hate when games have a big loot system with fancy weapons but then don’t emphasize combat. DXHR did the same thing; cool upgradable weapons in a stealth game where you aren’t supposed to fight people. Why would you punish people for using the content in your game?
This is how I felt when I ayed dishonored. They keep giving you new abilities and sweet weapons, then tell you to never ever kill anybody if you want to play it right.

Don't play this game stealth style. That's an old Deus ex, dishonored, Splinter Cell trope, where stealth was far and away the best way to play and they showered you with rewards for hiding and actively punished combat. This game has serviceable shooting and using guns isn't punished the way those older games were. It's sort of a balancing act that you can tell they were aware of, since everyone is obsessed with COD and fortnight, they didn't want to ruin shooting.
It's pretty shallow, and most of the side quests suck unless they are with other characters. THe gunplay is borderlands tier especially with the loot. I hate every game having fricking ranked loot. It's very good looking though I'd say it's probably worth a play once
>honesty >didn't allow journos to show their own footage because they didn't want people to see all the bugs >released this shitshow in the hopes of making quick sales before the truth came out >got spanked by sony for releasing garbage and forced to give everyone a refund
Sakurai has poor taste. But then again you should already know that by looking at who includes as DLC for his game.

>adore and love cyberpunk genre >no desire at all to give cyberpunk 2077 a try, not even pirated it
first I saw all those spastic webms of shills trying to tell me it's just like quake 3, then the waifu-posting started, and my interested just plummeted. never have I been so turned off by a game without ever touching it.
and the worst part is, I feel like I dodged a bullet. I fricking feel like I dodged a bullet by not playing one of the most anticipated games in the last decade.
every game I played after Cyberpunk felt like it was written by and for toddlers.
No game outside Cyberpunk has reached this level of storytelling, graphical fidelity and immersion. Watching someone talk in first person in dying light 2 for example, looks fricking amateurish and funny.
I played cyberpunk after all the fixes and updates. It was okay. It's just another modern open-world game with RPG elements, it really wasn't anything special
You will never be Japanese
Gomenasai, Oniichan!
anyone that played this on a decent pc knows its a good game, its only poorgays and console Black folk that say otherwise
>poorgays and console Black folk
No need to repeat yourself

moron
the game had some wonderful parts for sure, some tedious parts too
It was fun but the story ended too abruptly.
stop being a bootlicker

Good thing you can play 1.5 instead of that now, Shazamtroony.
oh, did they make the story any less asinine or the dialogue options any less worthless? no? then frick off.

Glad to see you conceded, Shazamtroony.

Programmed by hohols
They had a strict deadline, it wasn't the developers' fault but rather their management. The game clearly needed two more years in the cooker
>sorry sir your food is raw. It's not the chef's fault he wasn't given enough time.
I'M SORRY I MUST'VE MISSED THE PART WHERE THAT'S MY PROBLEM

so fricking what philistine homosexual? how the frick does that make the game any less shit?
>muh deadline
FNV fanboy hands typed that.
Next you're gonna type
>muh bonus

The game is nowhere near what cdproject promised, it's like saying eating McDonald is better than a real steak because at least you aren't eating shit
Americans and their food analogies
I'm european but I don't know how to make analogies with bullets

Okay, CD
It felt like a lazier Deus Ex, but I suppose I could stand to play it again by now
I liked it since day 1, all problems with it apply to witcher 3 or cdpr in general
True. I played with just the day 1 patch and never had any issues. Not a great game though but it was okay.
game was ok but I never finished it. played it on launch with 5800x and 3080, ran ok I guess but needed dlss quality which was quite ghosty on launch probably fixed now.

It was alright, overhyped as frick and the deep as a puddle but it was alright.
I played on a high end PC, the game was fricking garbage from start to finish. The bugs just made it worse.
>dream game comes out
>it sucks
many such cases
post speccy, liar
True
Japanese gamers seem to have really low standards for functional products
It's more that they're okay with enjoying flawed products without shitting themselves. Also they don't have the political shit flinging fueling the hate for things that the US has
Based Cyberkino is amazing and one of my favourite games this gen.
I liked the game even though I know it lacks what was promised, needed a much longer main quest and much more side stuff.

The looting is the worst part of the game tbh senpai

Typical asiatic worshiping whites
Who gives a frick, the game is trash
Why don't japs make actual rpgs?

You are on some pure copium, anon.

???????

Didn't they literally lie through their teeth when the first reports of epileptic seizures started appearing?
I played cyberpunk after all the fixes and updates. It was okay. It's just another modern open-world game with RPG elements, it really wasn't anything special
Is he a Japanese man using sarcasm?
But did he really need to kill a former prime minister?
Why does Ganker give a shit about what this moron thinks? He can't even put modern netcode into his shitty game.
