Thanks. Only thing that has bitten me so far in a year of ownership was a crapped out fuel pump and a leaky oil pan seal. The renesis itself has been fine, though it is the second the car has had before 90k miles.
It's just a great boiling-down of organized racing to its simplest, most fun form, while keeping the realist setting and tone. The physics are arcade, the races are short, but they're all real cars on real or realish circuits and trying to wallride will end your race real fast; the AI gets frisky, your pit crew pushes you on, the music- which is used sparingly- is great, and your end goal is a 20 minute long Le Mans win, the most prestigious race in the world. It takes the excitement of motorsport and cuts it down to bite sized chunks, like highlight videos of endurance races that cut out the hours of nothing much happening on-track, and I like that. It isn't a true TOCA and that's just fine, it's a niche not many other games have tried to fill.
Serious question, don't you almost get an aneurysm every time the homosexual promoters and shits keep taking away your controls and talk about new fricking events you don't give a flying frick about and JUST FORCE YOU TO LISTEN TO THEIR FRICKING VOICES WITH NO FRICKING WAY TO TURN IT OFF. FRICK! Getting pissed of again just typing this out. I just want a modern comfy racing game with no fricking interruptions. Why is turning them off completely not a fricking option, fricking microsoft.
Of the DOS ones? No shit. I just like the atmosphere in them. No music makes it ambient and nice. You just kill peds until you get 19.59 minutes of time and then leisurely cruise around the level
>only way to play it on win7/10 is to download some github project
Duckstation is probably the least annoying way to play it these days if you don't own a working PS1/2 with a compatible TV and a copy of the game.
I like Project Gotham Racing 4 but I find the non-racing event types to be pretty annoying. Also the Kudos system basically means you have to drive irrationally at times just to earn Kudos, which I don't like when I just want a good race.
the crew 2
Do you want a driving game or a racing game? There is a distinction.
Best of each
Project cars 2
Assetto Corsa with mods.
But why would you want to play a game where you drive cars in the first place?
It's boring.
Driving cars is pretty fun imo.
IRL it's even better.

>Hardtop NA
Not bad, I raise you the NC's sadistic sister
Nice RX8. Almost got one of those, then my buddies scared me out of it because of the supposed rotary issues and high maintenance.
Thanks. Only thing that has bitten me so far in a year of ownership was a crapped out fuel pump and a leaky oil pan seal. The renesis itself has been fine, though it is the second the car has had before 90k miles.
Also love the rpf1s.
cute little fricker
bretty clean anon, nice
Which mods are recommended for AC?
I can just tell you what I like.
>DiRT3
>NFS Shift
>FM4
>GT4
>Driveclub
I mostly play on PC, but I do own an X360, PS3 and PS4.
DiRT 2 is the best racing game Codemasters ever made.
I've been playing 3 every time I got in the mood for some rally action, but I guess I can try out 2 some time.
I think I like 3 less because the event variety is poorer and Gymkhana is never fun.
Well that's clearly wrong because TOCA 3 and Grid 1 exist.
In our hearts.
🙁
I don't see what makes GRID that great. It's alright but it doesn't really have a great hook.
Better than GRID Autosport, I guess. Frick that game.

forza horizon 5 because it fun and free on gamepass

I don't really recall it doing that besides from the very beginning of the game, which was pretty annoying. Also when doing missions.
After the intro it doesn't really do that, they just say 'welcome back, x' when you start it up
forza horizon is free on microsoft's gamepass
play today
I'll always love Carmageddon. I like the old DOS ones the best
There's an official mobile port. It handles surprisingly well.
Of the DOS ones? No shit. I just like the atmosphere in them. No music makes it ambient and nice. You just kill peds until you get 19.59 minutes of time and then leisurely cruise around the level
>No shit
like in a surprised way. I didn't know.
I knew 2 was ported. Still though, nothing beats a computer screen.
Test Drive Unlimited
Damn, I put so many hours into that one on the PS2. Never even got to the actual endgame of cars I think. My fastest one was an upgrade XJ220.
try the PC version,it looks better
don't install Platinum mod yet however,it fricks a bit with the game's original vision
midnight club 2
BeamNG
Need for Speed II Special Edition. Don't care what you need to do to get it to run. Run it and have fun!

Midnight Club LA
Gone but not forgotten.
There's still Syndicate.
Forza Motorsport 4
Forza Horizon 2 (XBone)
AC with mods
ACC for best sim experience
iRacing for best competitive sim experience
I mostly use Sol, AC Content Manager, Formula Hybrid cars and custom tracks. The best mods cost a bit of $.
Picrel
can you toddlers frick off for literally one minute?
nobody cares about your kid's games

you might like PGR3,it's less demanding on earning Kudos
unless you're doing Time vs Kudos
Grid Legends
Assetto Corsa (Not ACC)
V rally 4
Snow runner
Horizon 5 (if you are willing to buy the season pass)
Exo Gen
Theres others like WRC, Dirt, and Motorsport but those games arent fun, their are for tryhards.
You disgust me.
Yeah but i get pussy and look good doing it.
iRacing and its not even close
redout
Gran Turismo 4
NFS Most Wanted (2005)
Burnout 3
