Calling it the best is a really big overstatement but its definitely certified a good game. Its polished in all the right places. Has a slight difficulty curve for the average person. Looks pretty, is engaging for a bit and is fun with friends. People on this board hate it because its popular but you simply cannot deny it works with very few glitches and crashing like every other pile of shit thats released nowadays. If it was released 20 years ago we'd feel differently but we've been served such shit for that period of time its refreshing to have something edible.
It's the same reason barbie and oppenheimer have done so well in the cinema. The masses need their slop fix. We have never consumed like we do now. Things have to be seriously shit to fail these days

Yeah homie, I don't think the newest AAA game that has had an insane amount of money poured into it can spend several years in development and then 3 more years in Early Access. Also, BG3 is mid and just a reskin of Original Sin 2.
