Somehow they forgot that you can change characters in the hideout in JSRF by talking to Roboy. They also forgot that there are area names in the map near the exits so you generally know where you're going even within the first hour.
They seem like easy fixes if they ever choose to upadate this game. Just stick a frickin dance square in the hideout and stick some 3D names near the exits in the pause map (might as well keep the phone map useless or get rid of it entirely since the pause map is about as good as JSRF's was).
The phone map is useful because you don't have to pause to use it
Plus it will highlight graffiti areas in your view

I understand that 40 bucks seems a bit expensive for a game anons are beating in around 10 hrs, but its still significantly cheaper than a full priced 60 usd game. I think 30 is a bit more fair but 40 isn't unreasonable. Day 1 dlc is kinda gay, but that's only for if you're a fan of their previous games, so you'd probably buy it any way at that point.
The music doesn't fit the gameplay one I don't feel at all. Pretty much every song on the OST slaps to me. Condensed Milk included. The heavy bass on that song really blends well with the high pitch japanese girl voice. It's a home run imo.

It's not a AAA game, the only indie game I've seen in recent memory to command a $60 price tag was No Man's Sky and that decision was fricking demolished by the critics and general public. I understand the JSR-like is a niche market but christ almighty, even $30 would have been more acceptable, that extra $10 is putting it on the same level as AA releases from years past. I really don't care if the music licensing cost them a bajillion dollars, it's not my problem and tossing the responsibility of paying for it onto the consumer is pathetic, if anything it's just an excuse to jack up the price. I would have brushed it off because I've been waiting for JSR 3 for nearly 20 years but tossing a Day 1 DLC onto the already kind of heavy pricing was the straw that broke the camel's back. I want to say CP2077 was $30 on sale 3 months after release, BRCF being 10 hours long and commanding a price of $45 for the (current) complete game despite being an indie release is fricking ludicrous.

There's more score challenges in the post-game content and they're actually somewhat difficult. The ones I've found thus far are 3 million points and 5 million points, and they're on time limits too.

That being said. BRC is 10 dollars too expensive unless you're desperate for a JSR-like game, and the only issue I have with the music is that a good half of them are kinda meh, but that other half fricking slaps. Get enuf carries that lackluster half by itself tbh. Also the move system is a bit baren, having boost moves be per 1,2,3 move rather than just having 1 for on rails, in air, and on ground would have helped.
Also I really like red and I don't care for the plotline of you're actually felix's head! It would have been better if it was an actual cyberhead with felix's memories that way Red learns to become his own person rather than just turning back into Felix

There was only one style in JSRF, and you could change characters pretty much anywhere in far more conveniently located savepoints, including one in the hideout. Reptile failing to match this smoothness turned it into an issue.
The game autosaves to just having cyphers is fine, but not having one in the hideout with no real way to swap chars in the hideout is fricking ridiculous. Being able to swap movement options by holding LB would save a lot of grief.

I think there's actually a mod for swapping between wheels on the fly and it looks fun as shit. Amazed they didn't just do this themselves since there's no enormous difference between wheels aside from dumb option-specific things that are too rare to be anything but annoying.
I've been holding off on getting into the modding scene until I've got a 100% file but once I do I might go hog wild on textures music graffiti and QoL mods like what you just mentioned. Not having right-stick or some keyboard button for putting the camera behind you (for the instance you want to 90-180 yourself during air dash) is also a missed opportunity.

There's a bug that wipes progress. I've been manually making backups of the /steam/userdata/#######/135#####/remote folder because of this. You'll see what "#" means in that example if you aren't familiar with steam's product id shit.
This is why I think every game these days pretty much NEEDS to be able to make manual saves. Frick savescumming, you just NEED to be able to back your game up in the event of catastrophic failure.
That, and if you're gonna do an auto-save system, having access to multiple progress saves at multiple points is a must. What chapter were you on? I've got C3 beginning, C3 ending and C4 start.

it's insane those manual transitions can get you that much on the bike. That shit is impossible on the skateboard.
It feels like Bikes have the longest manuals and widest turns, Inlines have the shortest manuals and sharpest turns, and Skateboards are right in the middle.
Considering you can make any sharp turn with an air boost, in practice, Bikes are probably the best, but I'm still using Inline Skates unless I need to use a hydrant or garage.
re-watching it, and trying out on my own..I just really got to try and get the boost trick timing down with the manuals and maybe I can get the scores up a bit easier.
Once your combo is past a certain point, 3 normal tricks is enough for a boost trick, so unless you are smacking into walls, stairs, or riot cops, there's no reason to drop it.
There's not much timing needed to refresh your manual, just press boost and trick at the same time when you're about to run out.

Tricks give boost, boost tricks cost boost. Boost tricks refresh your manual timer allowing you to continue your combo, it's not that complicated.
Any texture modders in here know which part is which here? Trying to make a Spider-Gwen Bel texture to cheer up my friend, but figuring out what goes where is a pain in the ass. jump + air dash and hold the manual button while you land to extend your manual distance
Boost tricks, if you hold the boost button and do tricks during a manual you can extend it indefinitely, at least until the boost meter is empty.

Switch can at least keep a consistent 30 undocked, and will typically run smooth enough for that framerate.
Runs great on the Switch but does have some load times that can last 10-15 seconds when changing boroughs. I've never used the system unlocked so no clue how that handles but you can run it st 60fps docked through the options.

Nah I have the same bug on PC but I have old head. You're missing a tag somewhere and the yellow blips from your maps should get you to completion. Thinking about it, I think most of the characters with quests spawn a tag. Coil and Rave both have a race that ends with a tag that I'm pretty sure isn't there otherwise, and so does Rise. So get all the characters and maps if you haven't already.
I completely missed the mall area where you race the guy on a track and I already had oldhead, but that guy wasn't an unlockable character, some graffiti clearly don't count.
This the one bugged on the high tower in brink terminal doesn't count either.

Someone made a retexture but you can also open up the unity asset files to extract and import character textures. Steam guides has a tutorial on it.
