>bosses that require fast and precise touch control inputs
>playing the fricking flute by blowing into the mic
This games' gimmicks and 10x worse than having to wave the wiimote around for Skyward Sword. It's actually feels so fricking fiinnicky and shitty to play. This and Phantom Hourglass are the only Zelda games that I didn't even bother getting all the heart pieces in, I just wanted them to be over.

Moving the mic to the bottom of the new 3ds xl really fricked up these games. It's also annoying starting fires in lost in blew
>bosses that require fast and precise touch control inputs
That's only really the final boss of Phantom Hourglass, no other part of these games needs fast touch inputs
>playing the fricking flute by blowing into the mic
Get better lungs I don't know what to tell you
What about having to input multiple spin attacks in rapid succession, and with good timing, to protect Zelda when Malladus throws 4 rocks at once. Maybe I'm moronic and there's an easier way, but I couldn't figure out another way of destroying 4 at once, must've taken me like 20 tries to get that last volley.
You just stand there and make little circles. It's definitely hard on your first playthrough, but it simply comes down to git gud.
>looks terrible, like brown shit smears
>there's rabbits or something for some reason
>it's centered around trains. You know, those things that are only interesting to the terminally autistic
Worst game literally ever.
Its a little bit worse, yeah
Good thing linebeck and the dungeons makes up for it
>tfw still never finished because of the input for super spin attack
I don't think I'm ever going to understand these complaints. The only ones that seem valid are the flute and when you have to draw a certain shape but the game doesn't register it.
That said, PH has a lot of dull parts and I don't think it's very good compared to most Zeldas.
I just liked driving the train around. I wish there where less autistic train sims.
I think phantom hourglass is good and the temple of the ocean king is cool
I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it really could use a fix on the controls. Spirit Tracks fixed the problem quite a bit, although wasn't as fun in my opinion.
I remember it was the game that made me shell out for a new flash cart because my old R4 couldn't bypass the anti-piracy that hid your train controls, causing the first pig to softlock you since you can't toot the horn.
I couldn't finish this game on Wii U because I got filtered by the first pan flute locked door that required semi-precise timing because the game would only register one blow out of five.
I think the flute was genuinely broken, I could NOT get past the sand one no matter what I did
Isn't there a normal controls patch?
Frick blowing into the mic, Phantom Hourglass had 8-year-old me stumped for hours on end on the island where you were supposed to close the DS
I played PH on Wii U VC like 7 years ago, completely forget how I got past that part, but I did.
How do you get past the part where you gotta physically close your DS?
That pissed me off so much as a kid, I bought a guide JUST for that puzzle
They must give you a pretty obvious hint, because I don't even remember this part at all, so I probably just breezed through it.
Maybe, but at the time I barely had a grasp on English
Dumb esl poster
This and PH are legitimately the only two Zelda games (and probably some of the few games in general) that would benefit from a remake, so of course they're never going to do it and instead add amiibos to Zelda II or something
I love this game and miss it dearly. I should finally hack my 3DS and emulate it
The only redeeming factor of Spirit Track is being better than Phantom Hourglass.
no way, Phantom hourglass at least had exploration in the ocean unlike the stupid train tracks and you didn't have to play the fricking pan flute
It's not the same if you keep hearing shitty music that is meant to be the music from the caves of alttp
Hearing bad music is better than having to play bad music
they also look like dogshit visually
3d on the DS was a mistake
this is why nobody plays them these days
Actual shit take, the artstyle is one of the few things that holds up, since it's using wind waker's toon style.
art style's fine, like when you look at official art it looks nice
the tiny resolution, aliasing, blurriness, etc. are what looks like dogshit
I would take another gimmicky DS-style top-down Zelda over the literally nothing we're getting right now.
