The only form of true translation is 1-to-1 literal translation for each word in a vacuum. If any disgusting human being gets a chance to even see the result before the game is shipped they will want to """improve""" the raw output and make changes in their hubris. If you have a problem with being able to romance Anna you should be against the localization because it tricks people into giving money to devs who support that kind of thing by hiding it from them. If romancing Anna is bad, then buying the game is bad regardless of if it's localized or not, because the JP version still has the romance and the devs still get paid for putting that in the game.

This isn't like when the west lost the petting game in FE fates and everything else was more or less unchanged with a few shitty translations....
They removed core mechanics and swapped the dialouge in social scenes to make no fricking sense. The change to the wake up scenes made is completely pointless to use the sleep mechanic. Louis whole character being kind of a creep makes 0 sense in the translated version.
All because moronic localizers felt a need to inject their moronic beliefs in game rather than changing one or two sensitive topics for western audiences.
Try posting this on FE Reddit or FE Discord and you'll be downvoted/banned respectively, because your opinion is the minority and the vast majority of english FE fans love the changes.
