Can you bring yourself to play through the main series Pokemon games without using super-speed in emulation? Especially in battle
these games are unplayable for me now period
impossible to feel how much they were designed for children to beat
on console, sure.
on emulator? hell the frick no.
Doesn't watching the same slow ass animation for the 10 millionth
>Interlude to battle
>Wild Zubat appeared!
>cry
>Go! Starter
>Use Move
>Move Animation
>Wild Zubat fainted
>Starter gained x xp
Get fricking unbearable?
I often play while watching TV.
In the case of SV, if I'm playing it on my TV, I have my phone out during raids so I can do other stuff between the long ass animations.
I usually have a goal, gaining xp and learning moves is dolled out regularly. I also shiny hunt in gen 3 which is a whole different kind of hell. You can play in the background while focusing on a movie to make it easier.
No
youre the type of moron who cant enjoy things unless he has clips of family guy and subway surfer playing along side it
if you’re fully concentrated during a 5 hour play session of diamond and pearl and your attention never drifts off at any point with all the downtime the game has, you’re probably a mega-autist
believe it or not, back when smart phones didnt ruin peoples attention spans the average child could do exactly that very easily. no matter how you try to frame it, there is something seriously fricked with your brain
no it’s called kids tolerating shit game design because they have no money to buy more games
thats interesting, because most kids I knew owned a variety of different games, many of which still hold up today, yet still insisted on playing pokemon.
not only do you have the attention span of a goldfish, but youve also outed yourself as a poorgay. id encourage you to have a nice day, but i think that might be mentally too demanding for you, so i made this to ease the process: http://www.youtubemultiplier.com/64e44dcc08cbf-you-suck-wiener-you-homosexual.php
thats interesting, because most kids I knew owned a variety of different games, many of which still hold up today, and most got bored of pokemon after a week
not only do you have the peabrain of a panda, but youve also outdated yourself as a cherrypicking autistic moron. id encourage you to have a nice day, but i think you lack the mental faculties to understand what suicide is, so go research and look it up for yourself i’m not doing jackshit for you
>thats interesting, because most kids I knew owned a variety of different games
you were born in like 2010 so your experience is worthless in this instance
>no u response
Pathetic. The other guy is right, anyway.
When you're playing on original hardware and it's not even an option then you don't get tempted. But on emulators it can be unbearable, since you have the choice right there. So I get where you're coming from
I only play on hardware (flash cart or 3ds injection) and I never use them. Feels nice and doesn't bother me at all.
You love to see it
I simply play on real hardware.
Yes
I only play on original hardware so I never have this issue. I play all the time.
I use doduo GB tower but only to grind in already beaten saves. For a playthrough it's counterproductive, the games are more fun the more I take my time.
Some of the games I can play without speed up. XD is the only game I have to play on emulator and speed up every time, else I start to slowly go insane.
The handheld games I can play while doing something else.
I play all Pokemon games on 3ds, what do you think?
yes very engaging gameplay. people not patient enough to basically watch paint dry must have adhd
Not a zoomer, don't suffer from ADHD or use emulation, so yes.
i never saw the point of rushing through a game, unless your a speedrunner the journey is funner than the destination.
the only time i ever use speed up is on wario land two and three.
not j*hto since it requires grinding if you want to use anything like Houndour lategame
I only use speed-up when debugging stuff in my hack. Otherwise it's all on normal speed.
I have never felt the need to use speed up in emulation outside of retro FFs and even then only to do tedious shit like low% steals or grind job points in FFV.
