Snoy alright
what game is it?
Little Hope.
Stop being a schizo, anon.
should i play it
t. xdrone
No. Little Hope actually sucks. The first part of the 'trilogy' is okay at best.
House of Ashes is actually somehow good.
I played the man of Medan and the quarry, which I think is the same devs but not part of their "anthology", are the others worth trying? Quarry was pretty ok but Medan was kinda poopoo tbh
The Quarry is the same devs but isn't part of the 'trilogy' (which itself is only loosely connected to one another).
Overall I'd say Until Dawn > House of Ashes >>> Man of Medan >>>>> Little Hope.
Can't say much about the Quarry, don't know much about it.
How close is the ranking between Until Dawn and House of Ashes? I quite enjoyed Until Dawn, didn't care for Man of Medan, didn't play Little Hope but heard it was fricking stupid and pulled the unforgivable trope already mentioned in the thread. Also have seen threads on here about the Quarry being stupid.
Should I give House of Ashes a try? Is it a return to form?
House of Ashes is much closer to Until Dawn than the two predecessors. A bit shorter I think and a bit faster to get to the action and tension.
If you mind some fairly light spoilers;
House of Ashes doesn't di the psychological bullshit.
Hmm that spoiler might have convinced me I think, the setting seemed neat and since MoM and Little Hope both pulled that shit that was a fear of mine. Thanks Anon.
Watched a playthrough on youtube of the Quarry.
It's in all respects a worse version of Until Dawn. The plot and setting is pretty much identical, just sub in a different monster.
do not listen to these fools
Little Hope.
Keep playing and you'll (probably) realize something.
if this is the game i think it is then this is explained in the ending where i think the main character has a head injury and is viewing the people he was in a crash with as these settlers
If I remember right, though it's been a while;
It's literally all in his head as he tries to 'justify' a freak house fire from years ago that killed his family and left him brain damaged, and it's all brought up again in his mind when he has revisit his hometown after a bus crash. The 'settler moments' are him piecing together a false narrative that some abused girl put a curse on the house and that he can 'fix' things.
> um this brain damaged hallucination is not historically accurate and unrealistic
>get brain damage
>start including diversity even in your imaginations
based?
Why did he imagine a random Chinese guy 400 years ago? Was it just the producers checking boxes? No way there were Asians in America at that time. Then again, I am moronic so it's possible but definitely no way one was the mayor of a town.
He has literal brain damage.
Oh that's what everyone says.
Is that confirmed? He just got burned a bit
The epilogue shows him at the family funeral with a bloody bandage around his head, plus the house was collapsing when he ran back in.
That's still assuming, it's not like there was a collectable such as a doctor's letter or newspaper article that outright said it
From the prologue. If you're not moronic then the sight of this guy as a judge in 1692 is the first clue that something is amiss.
I just admitted to being moronic, are you really surprised that I didn't catch that, homie?
Please try to be smarter
Yes I can read, the "if you're not moronic" was meant to the other people reading my post who are not moronic. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but then again you are moronic.
Thanks for understanding chum
Why are they like this, anons?
this is literally genocide
>Indigenous peoples have the collective and individual right not to be subjected to ethnocide and cultural genocide, including prevention of and redress for:
>(a) Any action which has the aim or effect of depriving them of their integrity as distinct peoples, or of their cultural values or ethnic identities;
Yes
yeah black people on tv is quite literally murdering white people
Changing white historical figures into blacks is an action that has the aim or effect of depriving whites of their integrity as distinct peoples, cultural values and ethnic identity .
Ethnocide is not only going around killing people.
>AMC+
They didn't make her black for political reasons, they did it because AMC+ has practically fricking nothing and they wanted to drum up attention.
Even the Youtube crowd called them out for being stupid.
dumb chud
>everything that isn't a major franchise movie that we cram wokeshit into dies
>but we're gonna keep doing it
>to make money
>Ethnocide is not only going around killing people.
true it's about you having to look at a black person instead of a white person in film or television.
I'm sorry you have to go through this, bro.
you joke but some morons actually think like this
>joke
White erasure is not okay, neither is black erasure.
Instead of clapping that white people are being erased in media, you should realize that black stories are not being funded, made or produced.
It's just a minstrel show with blacks in caricatures of white people.
I can't believe Cho Chang isn't white. Fricking israelites must have race-swapped her for the films.
why do i find this funny
i think its just the zooming
god i'm moronic
If you haven't caught on yet. The israelite has been using the Eternal Anglo to astroturf their Talmudic world revisionism to the rest of the world. Anglo culture died after the protestant reformation movements it became hyper-consumerist and soulless and very israeli. European culture must cease to exist through generational gas lighting and once they have mutted the whole of Europe they will set their sights on Asia.
>jews were expelled from blah blah countries
I'm sure it was all legitimate reasons and not jus the majority blaming the minority like typical human behavior
Jews have undermined host countries for eons. It's simply what they do. Ironic that you would mention the majority blaming minorities when the israelites would often petition Christian King's help in eradicating sects of their own people that did not align with orthodox teachings.
Not hard for a minority of people to make a country dysfunctional.
95% of the brown countries in the world actively discriminate against israeli people.
Today.
Not 1000 years ago.
Today.
why weren't gypsies expelled more often then?
Americans let them
>1690s
>America
>game
It's all a dream in the mind of the kid who watched the house burn down.
Frick you.
Little Hope.
And sometimes, if something in a story seems a little off and unrealistic it just might be an intended narrative clue to tip you off that things aren't what they appear to be.
>"it was all in your head" twist two games in a row
people were paid to make this
Until Dawn is objectively better than the Dark Pictures series, the only area they beat it is graphics
>Longer (about 10 hours vs 5)
>Famous actors (Rami Malik and the woman from Heroes)
skittles commercial tier
that's a good frickin movie
