Hermit's based as frick, but playing "I can fix her and then MAKE HER WORSE" with Temperance would be a sinful pleasure. But it's not a contest really, I'm picking Hermit.

Save point + extra life is just ridiculously overpowered (although waking up immediately from a death could easily just get you killed again unless you respawn at the save point specifically)

Scythe is the best against enemies with high HP.
Unless they can heal, the scythe can kill anything in 50 hits at most, and most likely less since each curse is another 2% hp gone.
