Except nobody ever parties for quests beyond the starting areas. I distinctly remember waiting around with like 5 other people in Westfall while we were all trying to kill Defias guys for the same quest. I tried talking to them and inviting them to group up so we could all get credit, but they just ignored me and continued competing against each other to tag anything that spawned first.
The loot quests are what made groups a pain. You dont want open tagging, you want personal loot.
As far as quests go i think if it drops the quest item for one person it should drop it for the whole group
The quest in question wasn't even a loot quest, it was just a kill quest. And honestly I'm in favor of whatever leads to people actually playing together. The only time I ever got that group experience outside of a dungeon or raid was me and two other newbies questing around Teldrassil together for a few hours.
Personal loot ruins the immersion. You want it to be balanced to earn you more by grouping up with other players and fight enemies that are 3-5 lvls above your current lvl and make it hard. High risk/reward with some strategy involved.

The only streamer that was big on Grob was Barny, who's some trans homosexual that would hang out with Final Boss which was a bunch of gold buying homosexuals who just sat around saying Black person all day and crying about Alliance balance. There was nobody else.
No one went Grobb until the mass server transfers. As the other guy said, Final Boss was the only known guild on the server and they picked it because they thought an RPPVP server would be "easy pickings". They got completely ostracized and had to change their name to Kurthos Guild, and then everyone ostracized them again.
Grobbulus was great because it WAS actually an RPPVP server for the first few months. I played Emerald Dream and then Venture Co. (the home realm of Blacktooth Grin, probably the best RPPVP guild) on retail, so it was an easy choice. All of my best memories of Classic came from players actually RP'ing, despite the refugees who begrudgingly picked the RPPVP server as a last resort. I barely RP'd 1-on-1, but I'd always go to guild events because they were either fun or hilarious. Eventually I fell in with a guild of boomers who did light RP and were all dope people.
The server was only flooded with refugees when the big servers actually collapsed after the PVP phase. Now Grobbulus is full of homosexuals with homosexual names will never RP because it's "nerd shit". Meanwhile they're wasting their lives vicariously reliving being a basement-dwelling nerd. I skipped the first week and played on one of the second wave servers, Thunderfury. Was one of the only PvP servers to have anything close to 50/50 balance after P2.

Then it fell off like all these servers are going to. WoW is hype for a week then everyone realizes it is a dogshit game and they quit. It is insane this literally is a groundhog day game. People hype up classic and play it for a week or so then get bored and quit and the servers become low pop servers with noone playing them and dungeons/pvp ques become very long.

lvl capped at 25 and rogues are kinda weak at 25 usually but you get a better than kidney shot ability from a rune for 25 bracket so mayne they will be ok. im hoping we get burst of speed or cloak of shadows in a higher bracket because so far rogues look kinda weak. backstab can be made to cost 40 energy though so combat daggers will be interesting especailly with adrenaline rush.

"Full" is most likely an arbitrary player limit of like 5k or something and has little bearing on actual performance.

i wasn't even on a streamer server in classic, and it wasn't this bad. they didn't have as many. played grob btw. as soon as i got out of the orc starting zone it was some frickin freedom
I skipped the first week and played on one of the second wave servers, Thunderfury. Was one of the only PvP servers to have anything close to 50/50 balance after P2.
Then it fell off like all these servers are going to. WoW is hype for a week then everyone realizes it is a dogshit game and they quit. It is insane this literally is a groundhog day game. People hype up classic and play it for a week or so then get bored and quit and the servers become low pop servers with noone playing them and dungeons/pvp ques become very long.
It's genuinely psychotic how many people have been doing this cycle on pservers for almost 20 years now. Doing the same fricking shit over and over where they KNOW its only good for a month but still go again when ever there is a F R E S H server.
At least pservers keep junkies busy for 4 months with rank 14 grind.

lvl capped at 25 and rogues are kinda weak at 25 usually but you get a better than kidney shot ability from a rune for 25 bracket so mayne they will be ok. im hoping we get burst of speed or cloak of shadows in a higher bracket because so far rogues look kinda weak. backstab can be made to cost 40 energy though so combat daggers will be interesting especailly with adrenaline rush.

Because some cool stories once came out of RP servers, thus they're clinically moronic enough to think RP = good times, and not recognise that the absence of morons like them and their simps is the factor.
Because Grobbulus ended up being a great, balanced server because most RPers are either extremely normal, down-to-earth people, or autists. And those normal people and autists have a vested interest in the health of their server and server community because RPPVP depends on it more than any other realm type. Grobbulus did very well up until the mass exodus from other servers which were infested with streamergays completely fricking up the faction balance.
Naturally, everyone involved has completely missed this basic information and decided to go RPPVP "because it was good before".
