My main feeling when I played this vs the original CoC is that the gameplay mechanics got more complicated but not more fun and the smut scenes are not as well written.
I was also suprised to learn that the main antagonist has a handful of scenes when as the primary corrupting agent in the world she should be more involved in the storyline. If I remember correctly in CoC 1, you can become demonic. I would have loved an extension of that concept in CoC 2 where you join her in quests spreading her corruption. Instead it seems like she is 1 of many shallow love interests.
The love interests seem to be a a mile wide (huge variety) and an inch deep (a handful of scenes).
Almost no player agency. The game assumes that you're a bisexual who wants to get fricked by everyone regardless of preference. Why can't I tell male characters to frick off? Why can't I transform every futa character into normal woman?
I like monster girls and the game has transformatives. You should be able to customize the game to fit your sexual preference, whether it's gay or straight.
