You're both moronic and do not play any CoD on console pre-Bo3

console literally does you moron, the hacks are built into the game somehow and are shared with fricking theater mode replays and shit BO1 and BO2 hacking is insane like that

this. and instead of banning the hackers or just patching out the hacks, instead they punish the community by dropping all support in one fell swoop across all the classic games and disable the emblem creator function on Bo2 while doing absolutely nothing to fix the hacking issue

you don't even need modded controllers to hack in the old games, the hacks are shared by fileshare https://www.youtube.com/shorts/sv1vwcvYFxo

Hacking is definitely running rampant now because how obsessive zoomers are with needing to be 200 viewer twitch streamers. Playing any game on pc that isn’t like tf2 or some game with admin tools is frustrating.

You dumb Black folk don't even play these games on consoles.

Maybe you could still play them in those fancy private servers but it seems you homosexuals for some insane reason tried to make a private launcher for a game full of microtransactions thats still operational and available to anyone for free™

it's just as bad on the consoles now

fixes classic servers for half a week
That was always a losing battle, there is nothing you can do with old games that rely on matchmaking without some real elbow grease and anti-cheat licenses that are simply not worth the cost for the 800 guys that might want to replay COD on some weekend.
The winning move is to dump the games on gog with some official server tools and hope the community can fix it themselves like the Blue Sentinel stuff in DS.

really? nice damage control, gay, but 343 has been doing it with ease on shit budget since 2017. next time you want to make up bullshit qualifications you should check to see if less financed studios are able to do upkeep. oh wait, TEAMS OF SMALL PEOPLE WERE DOING THAT ON PC FOR FREE BUT WERE DMCAd FOR DOING WHAT YOU Black folk SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING THE ENTIRE FRICKING TIME hahaha how could i forget?

      Anonymous

funny that you bring up blue sentinel since cod HAD that kind of shit with iw4x and plutonium ect ect and they all got that shit shut down by activision so people would be forced to play the unsafe malware possible PC servers or go play MW2022 instead. They don't even give a shit about games released not even 4 years ago, Cold war had a public RCE for a long ass time before they gave enough of a shit to try and patch it, its still full of cheaters ruining games and force kicking people

are there really no laws yet that allow players to sue online services for denying anti-malware support?

          Anonymous

I don't think you realistically can do that, like OS end their life cycle eventually and just because one sperg doesn't want to stop using windows vista shouldn't mean you have to continue pouring resources into it fixing exploits. Its a bit different with a game though especially something like CoD where their official end of support is after like only a fricking year. That should be illegal.

            Anonymous

thats what im saying. it should be illegal to drop it before maybe 5 years. or at least should be made fully illegal to intentionally ruin community efforts to maintain support. valve doesnt do that shit. 343 and bungie dont. why the frick do blizzard and activision get away with it?

              Anonymous

I have no idea, it also should be a crime to CONTINUE to sell a game you deem at the end of its service life (at full price mind you) and allow consumers to possibly get malware from it. I think theres also an argument to be made about whos job it is to fix the servers like how microsoft fixed them for a little bit and that had nothing to do with activision.

                Anonymous

EXACTLY. if anything it should be left to the community if it's going to continue being sold with online access intact, or they should be forced to prove they have actual plans like the master chief collection

        >Cold war had a public RCE for a long ass time
I can understand that games prior to 2010 might have RCE exploits because cyber security and standards were not taken into consideration because the landscape was different and bad actors did not have enough incentive to be dicks about it but CW is like recent no? How the frick? Part of me is not surprised because Activision ever since MW treated PC players as second rate costumers so I never bought their stuff after, well the original MW2, but that is inexcusable.

          Anonymous

yes cold war was 2020, the RCE that was found might have only been found because of the older games and was just found to exist in the newer games due to it being basically the same engine but yeah theres a conspiracy about CoD that they possibly pay people to shit up the older games either by making cheats or using them, and then turning a blind eye to cheating in games that aren't the most recent to try and force people to play the newest ones

            Anonymous

that's so fricked because on console that's putting players at jeapordy of getting permabanned and losing access to hundreds to thousands of dollars worth of games and content

    I propose.. The GAMER Act.
    Gaming And Malware Exacerbation Reparations.
Take it to the United State Supreme Court and pitch this to their faces and explain to them how this affects hundreds of millions of vulnerable or ignorant people worldwide and sue all major Gaming labels...
Only question is, who will taken one for the team and actually do it?
