Conquest’s miniatures have such an amazing vibe and aesthetic. Every army is so unique and inspired.

They have cool art design but the sculpting doesn't really live up to it IMO.
FPBP, completely agree with this. I love Conquest's artistic design and lore, and the rules are pretty good.
The models are just really mid. Too chunky and not crisp enough for modern day. If this game had come out 20 years ago it would mog Warhammer Fantasy Battles, but it just isn't up to snuff now.
Sculpts are honestly mantic tier and are just as hit and miss.
you haven't seen their newer models then
So how much are they paying you to shill their models?
Here’s an idea. Why don’t you post a picture of one of their models, in your home workspace, with a time stamp so we know you actually use the miniatures you claim to love so much and aren’t just one of two people Conquest pays for marketing?
Seems pretty achievable if you actually buy and use these minis.
These look good but they aren’t on par with current top range stuff. I would put them upper mid in terms of their more recent sculpts. If these had come out when they actually previewed Spires concept art I would have said they were pretty much best industry standard, but there was quite a bit gap there.
I do also think the larger mini scale (so harder to find proxies for) and at- or above-GW pricing is pretty cynical from a company critical of GW.
Is that mantic again?
That is one of their older light grey plastics though. At least post some of the new OD stuff.
>mantic tier
so high quality?
So extremely varied.
>Too expensive
You arent Games Workshop dont chare GW prices
>Too boring
Warhammer Fantasy is cooler since it was made by people who enjoy history
>Too big
a rank n flank even 28mm is too big but these modles are 32mm
>Warhammer Fantasy is cooler since it was made by people who enjoy history
Warhammer Fantasy doesn't even exist any more.
>was made
All these smaller companies forget that Tom Kirby was right and they're all miniature companies (and if you don't like him remeber it was Citadel that bought GW not the other way around). Your sculpts have to be top tier before you start fricking around with games.
>Your sculpts have to be top tier before you start fricking around with games.
But Conquest sculpts are top tier tho
Everyone like it
I don't like it and you should go back to English class.
>I don't like it
Why tho?
>go back to English class.
twat detected right here. Nobody cares you fricking grammar nut, esl homosexual
Oh I thought you were an ESL, but you're actually just a a working class british person? That's funny.
>Nobody cares you fricking grammar nut, esl homosexual
I do, you insufferable toerag. Your dick will not wither away and fall off for at least pretending to be a civilised human.
Show me your conquest models anon, with a timestamp please
Is IS strange anon can’t post such a photo…
Why do you think someone can’t have an opinion on the look of a model without owning it?
Because we'll shit on people's opinions whenever they're remotely subpar, and he seems suspiciously invested in promoting the game despite being unable to post his own minis. Paid (or unpaid+moronic) shill is a reasonable assumptions.
>But Conquest sculpts are top tier tho
Eh, Para-bellum is pretty hit-or-miss when it comes to their sculpts. ALL of their concept art is pretty great, though. Their new City State stuff is pretty sub-par, while their newer big sculpts (Hill Jotnar, Dinosaurs, etc.) all look great.
Not a fan of the bigger scale, either. I thought it would grow on me, but it just looks bad next to all my other 30mm1~ish terrain.
I wish conquest and the trench crusade all the best
>Il bacio della morte… the kiss of death
/tg/ is now the GW fanboy central, I don't know why you expected to make a thread about a non-GW company without inviting the wrath of every 14 year old boy who thinks Warhammer is epic.
>Orc dino riders
>Bronto
Sold
I doubt many people will want to dish out 200 dollars for what's a normal brontosaur toy + howdah
I mean, sell the howdah for 40 and let others mount it on whatever cheap brontosaur toy people can find
or at least design the dinosaur with some fantasy elements beyond a beard
Its pretty hard to find a good brontosaur toy these days.
I really love the undead romans, but not enough to justify those prices. Might get one of the standalone figures as a fun painting project though.
