This is what really hurts. Nintendo was in a prime position to push highly optimized games, since they don't rely on graphics. They screwed that up royally.

I'm happy to make some sacrifices that I don't need, but I DO need good framerate and good optimization.
Why are all Nintendo games so shit then, despite not having graphics? It might be my own taste/preference but there are no first party games that I enjoy from Nintendo outside of Smash and Mario Kart. The only reason to own Nintendo consoles is Monster Hunter.

nintendo can be lazy sometimes, but they revolutionised open world with botw. and there are a few decent games on the switch. the switch alone is great, you can bring it anywhere and hook it up to your tv. the hardware is shit though, as you can only play in 1080p in docked.
