Rainbow Six Siege used to be the much, much better game and the one I had way more fun with. But current Siege just isn't good. They ruined it years ago and it never recovered from all the awful changes they made to the maps and gunplay in addition to the moronic skins and troony bullshit.
These games are not even really comparable outside of basic format of X v X amount of players with guns. The actual gameplay and way rounds play out are completely different. I wouldn't recommend either because Siege is a clusterfrick of horrid design choices and CSGO is full of cheaters.

They RUINED siege when they got rid of quick leaning and most of the map reworks are GENERIC

They are quite different games despite first looks, Siege was great but i quit when the operator abilities became to unrealistic.
