Mod Manager makes installing mods a lot easier and you can probably live without the majority of the mods. I just post a couple of the ones i use and others that might help get a better experience like the High Refresh Rate and Ex/ExEx Patch mod

When there's triples always fat thumb Square + Cross, and at the same time (if it comes from the left), press Up on the dpad. If it comes from the right, press right on the dpad. Makes it easier.
Those repeated notes where you have to press something like XX REALLY FAST, specially with fast tempo songs, I think I am too old to do them, I'm 28 but I heard your reflexes start dying at that age. Dramaturge is impossible for me on Hard 🙁

Why can't modders just create charts that meshes with the rest of game instead of desperately wanting to be "LE SUPER IMPOSSIBLE SONG: MADE BY DICKhomosexual85"
consider their perspective. their skill ceiling/autism is so high this is what does it for them. they've already FC'd the official 10s. they just want to press buttons and the easiest way to do that is spam. project heartbeat has a related problem according to the reviews where people want easy/normal charts but most of the workshop content is hard/extreme.
for both cases the players who reach those heights will be glad there is content waiting for them.
theres two modders i contacted for custom charts and they adhere to sega's charting philosophy from what I've seen
