Croc was primitive compared to the other 2.
It deserves some respect due to the period it was released in, but it's obsolete now in a way many other retro games aren't.
Never played Crash but Spyro is few leagues above Croc. Level design is pure gold, controls are fantastic even underwater which is really rare in this era. Its not that Croc was a bad game, just Insomniac was the very definition of best of the best up to PS3 (first three Ratchets are insane)
