I do like me some Castlevania. I remember playing it when I was 6 and idk I think the ghosts weren't certified or whatever you're trying to say because they looked purplish.
There used to be a lot of threads of people advocating for CRT/composite because the inferior picture can simulate greater detail than what's actually in the raw image, like
I wonder how the sad life of someone must look like when he has nothing to do other than make the same exact copy+paste thread every single day for years
>autistic crt triggered gay is at it again
YWNBAW
Obsessed
Cringe
says the anti crt troony
I fricking love this bait. morons every time can't figure out that the CRT is literally a seperate tileset
>I fricking love this bait. I will now completely ruin the joke
Interesting strategy.
I haven't seen anyone fall for it yet.
>bait
homie that's just a ctr
Literally nobody has ever fallen for this image
That anon just saw through it, dude.
That post is bait, and you fell for it
if it was just a bit more subtle I would fall for it, if that counts...sorry bro, uh guess I'll be going now.
>he doesn't know the magic of full NTSC composite CRT emulation
oimlaffin
Don't care. I'm gonna play retro games on an LED TV and you can't stop me.
Nearest neighbor on OLED is the best a pixel game is gonna look. Use run-ahead in Retroarch for smoother input than has ever been possible on a CRT.
human eye cant even see CRT
Right was an improvement
check out that sexy wood flooring on the right
This reminds me, where are all the widescreen patches for bsnes? The only ones I know of are Super Mario World's and Super Metroid.
>bsnes
>using a troony emulator
what does that even mean
in case anyone wants to play it:

Don’t care. I’m not gonna play retro games at all and you can’t make me.
been thinking about getting one, are they really worth it? and whats something to look out for
I thought OP image was bait, but it's actually real.
The game used to look like that.
but for real tho
I play old games on a CRT, and new games on an LCD.
It just works out the best that way
Where do the window frames come from? Just a change in the screen could not make it look that different.
It's part of the composite image, the way the pixels were arranged would trick yellow channels on your tv.
It was too bright inside before to see them durrrrrrr

Frick zoomers. They will never experience the joy of playing NES on an old ctr TV. I want to die.
-mory thats best forgotten
what is this shit
it's kind of funny
There used to be a lot of threads of people advocating for CRT/composite because the inferior picture can simulate greater detail than what's actually in the raw image, like
Now people are posting obviously fake comparisons to make fun of the real? comparisons that looked faked/altered
what version of CV is the 2nd one from?
NES+CRT
anon come on pls
X68000. It was later ported to the PS1 as Chronicles.
the simon sprite looks so different from what I remember of that version. it looks like a slight different version of NES sprite.
Are there seriously people who think CRT was just a joke and served no purpose?
Now do MGS1/Twin Snakes.
I wonder how the sad life of someone must look like when he has nothing to do other than make the same exact copy+paste thread every single day for years
why do the zombies become israeli
-ORY
is this what they are teaching kids nowadays in schools? the benefits of CRT?
