You love a game the way it is, they force an update on you that changes said game significantly, you don't love the new version as much as you did the old one, simple as that. Disappointing that this is still happening in 2023.

it's funny that nobody ever gives a frick about tf2gays yet they obsess over every single shooter game's death and claim it as their own doing. you can't say "tf2 outlived (insert game here)" when your game is barely held together by duct tape at this point and most of its players are bots. the "dead" games you claim tf2 outlived are still doing way better than current day tf2. cs:go2 is still way more popular and has way more players than tf2.

Skill rating was reset, so matchmaking is just not a thing at the moment as you just play with every skill group.
they only ported over the bare essentials from CSGO just so they could technically fullfill the summer release date
