Was this decent at all? I liked Alan Wake and the Max Payne games. No interest in whatever the one that had CIA Man in though.

Yeah its combat is similar to old Payne. Dated to say the least.
Game is indeed good tho
It would've been a better game if she were black instead
Boring combat, the rest is ok-ish maybe. Plot hole city.
I enjoyed it overall. I think Alan Wake is shit.
I enjoyed it way more than Wake and Quantum Break. Throwing concrete at enemies never gets old.
it's alright
One of the few games that would be better as a walking simulator. Combat isn’t terrible but there’s way too much of it. Worth it for the worldbuilding and atmosphere though.
It’s a very well made mediocre game
I recall there were issues on the PC port? Did they fix them?
i have about 80 hours in the steam release, i think i encountered 1 crash but otherwise it worked fine
the biggest issue was how much it dragged during the early part of the game through the maintenance area
once that was over the game was much more enjoyable
A lot of the combat takes place in tight areas like offices and ends up just being a hard to follow mess with shit flying everywhere
>No interest in whatever the one that had CIA Man in though.
It's alright
tech demo
It took about two hours before I started to really enjoy it. For those first two it felt like more of a chore to play but I pushed on because the setting intrigued me. Glad I did cause once you get more powers it gets better, at least it did for me. Blitzing people with the shield and throwing shit everywhere then occasionally doing a super hero landing on someone was enjoyable. Dealing with the inventory and all the mods you pick up was annoying as frick, that was my biggest gripe.
Nothing to go crazy over, but very solid. Combat's a bit lackluster outside of the fact that you can hurl enormous shit around, but well designed for what it is, pew-pewing the health bars down. Setting is quite engaging.
The SCP stuff is interesting enough, the combat is fricking boring. The actual monsters are boring. The maps are boring. The brutalist art doesn't work that well since there's nothing used to contrast it with, the way you usually see brutalist sculptures in a field or something, it's all interiors so it just looks barren.
By the time the DLC rolled around the multi-throw stopped being an instant KO, I just switched one-hit kills on in the menu, I was bored out of my mind. Some nice moments. I don't care whether anyone plays it or not, I have no feelings for this game whatsoever.
combat gets pretty stale, i remember by the end of the game it became a chore what was supposed to be a really cool segment i kept thinking jeus chirst when is this shit over
When they finally release the second game in the series, and they most likely will since the first one made a lot of money, they better fricking make courtney look extra fricking hot. I don't wanna see any of that fricking ugly fricking troony shit that they gave me in the first game. That whole thing with the uncanny valley mixed with zero-makeup-day-after-a-drunken-bender-look better not be there in the second fricking game, you fricking hear me, Remedy!?
>No interest in whatever the one that had CIA Man in though.
what made Ganker latch on to this man so fricking hard?
It's a tech demo and was free a while ago. Waste of money.
It's 6/10: The Game. Nothing special about it, everything is mediocre and overall just feels like a RTX demo.
generic third person shooter in an SCP building
has 1 pretty fun part
Gameplay is pretty good and it's definitely been tested a lot (I didn't encounter any bugs). Story is kinda meh, but I don't really like /x/ stuff. The settings reminded me of one of Asimov's books about a buidling in New York that is outside of time. Also, the characters look like shit, but this is to be expected with the Unreal engine (everyone looks like weird plastic dolls).
It's my favorite Remedy game. It's a good in-between of Max Payne 2 and Alan Wake.
Meh. It tries. $12 is the perfect price for Control.
It never really ties all of its pieces together but it tries.
I LIKE ALL REMEDY GAMES
The upgrade system is stretched and collectibles reading is getting boring in the long run. Story was good and her ass too
