>Watch and enjoy anime
>Immediately buy game because the anime made me interested in the world
>It's just a mediocre looter shooter with light RPG elements and most of the choices don't even matter.
>The romance options aren't even half as cute as the girls in the anime.
I was smeckledorfed. Good job, CDPR. You got me.
Animaterr man says hi from /b/.
this anime managed to hold the title of Most Overrated Mediocre Anime, even after Bocchi the Reddit came out. Impressive
>Mm yes I'm so intelligent *sniffs own farts* mmm the aroma of a true scholar and gentleman
Show me her feet
>coomer tries to have an opinion
Into the trash it goes
They didn't deserve such a good anime for such a shitty game. You should have refunded or pirated idiot.
I've screencapped every frame Rebecca appeared in and that's not nearly enough, it was maybe 15% of the show, what the frick were they thinking designing such a good character just to give her very little attention and in the end kill her off
The game might be just average at best, but at least we got Rebecca in the end.
Look into the table-top version if you want to understand how hard those Polaks dropped the ball.
Hell, just look at the early trailers. Too many idiots salivated over a mediocre Witcher 3 and CDPR thought they could do anything.
I'm still a little mad at how cool is just the misc stat in 2077
there's no morale for enemies, there's no interpretation of "fighting ability under pressure" to be something like improvised weapons or unarmed techniques despite it having a skill tree called "Ninjutsu" and ninjutsu having a heavy focus on improvised weaponry and unarmed shit since they, you know, assassinated people with gardening tools
i want to insert my penis in her veganas please
David was a homosexual. V is a piece of cardboard but is still a better character.
It's not like you weren't warned, the signs were everywhere of people warning you this game is total garbage
I played the game first so I could watch the anime so I could listen to one song. i think the game is pretty kino for a bethesda game. (bethesda as in gameplay and world style with frequency of glitches)
If the game wasn't so well written I would stop playing, but what the writing really doesn't allow for is much player expression. I'm playing the game as V, I'm choosing the options that make sense for V's character and struggle. theres no room beyond that, Cyberpunk 2077 will always be a game about death and dealing with your own mortality. The game would probably do better as a linear shooter, and would be more interesting if you could actually run out of time and have your brain melt.
Liked the game, hated the anime.
You're just a secondary, shush
unless you played the tabletop you're as much as a secondary yourself.
I have and It is superior, reguardless. I stand by my statement fren.
You have never played the tabletop and don't own a single sourcebook plus the tabletop is just Gibson regurgitated through a moronic Black person, calm down
How many playthroughs is that?
Not sure, I've beaten the game many times though.
Well, I can only imagine. I've cleared out the map on my first playthrough and I really don't feel like doing it again on the second one. They should've copied radiant quests from bethesda or added ng+.
What's your favorite build, anon?
Mods anon, use mods.
Ninja/Cool, nothing into Tech.
Now why do you have to be so negative? Yes, cyberpunk as a setting is mediocre, It's campy and goes well with my other obsession, Battletech. I've played through a few Red campaigns but most people just use fan modules.
Yeah so we can see you were projecting and the actual secondary here is you, Black personhomosexual
I don't think that, you've obviously never played.
The game is shit
The tabletop is shit
The anime is good but fully undeserved
What you are is a moronic street shitting shill who doesn't know anything about cyberpunk as a genre beyond what you got in your job pamphlet, so calm down and take a deep breath
Anime is shit and Hiroyuki Imaishi just rides on the backs of his betters, evangeli-shit was never good and everything you like about studio trigger is a meme.
Calm the frick down troony, breathe
cope
>breathe
shhh SHHH
dont enable him!
He couldn't help himself, his mediocre taste in anime has to be justified.
buy game
moronic Black person
>he didn't go full gorilla arms and frick Panam
What's wrong with you
>Watches and enjoy an anime
This is when you turned out to be a homosexual, OP. The final outcome was just a matter of time.
You are an idiot
COÑOOOOOOOOOOM
forgot an S somewhere
As a grown hairy smelly perverted balding fat man, I cannot wait until I can put my brain into the body of a roboe-girl.
The anime was literally a marketing tool made to distract people from the state of the game was at the time
You had to do more research my dude
Gibs me more top tier anime to distract me from disappointing games pls
>Immediately buy game because the anime made me interested in the world
I feel like you should never buy a game solely because it had an adaptation that you liked.
Graphics were aight doe
I still don't get why David was still infatuated with Lucy when she literally lured him to get his spine removed and likely kill without any remorse whatsoever. He would have died if not for the group's coincidental ties to his mom.
Literally babies first crush.
He fell so head over heels for here that he was blind to any red flags.
Happens to most people at least once.
>ignores the tons of negative reviews prior to the anime
>my purchase decision was based on a tv show how could I have avoided this?
have a nice day.
The anime was leagues above the game and it wasn't even that good
>This is a show with championed animation according to triggergays
lmao, midrunners was total shit compared to the game. Even if you bawwwww like a b***h about muh early develoopment promises there is no other open world FPS better than Cyberpunk, simple as that
It's likee they don't even try to make frames, and people suck their dick like it's the last dick they'll ever suck. Fricking hate em. Lazy homosexuals
why does the quality of every Trigger anime always fall off towards the end?
>watch some shitty anime made with the intent in mind to sell people onto the main game which is shit
>Immediately buy game
good job you fricking moron, you're everything that's currently wrong with the consume base.
very rare case of anime being better than the game
Anime was fricking dogshit. Game was dogshit too but at least people don't parade it around like that weeb garbage anime.
99 percent of hate this game gets is from assblasted morons who got bamboozled journos. I was never on the hypetrain, no trailers, no awareness it existed until my bro lent me his copy. I loved it, bugs notwithstanding.
>I never followed the game and saw all the promises made about the game that weren't realized
>WTF, why was everyone so mad?
>Someone had fun
>this must be stopped!
frick off
I didn't say stop having fun. I said stop acting like a moron acting like the criticism is overblown.
You implied it
>Believing promises of people trying to sell pre-orders
ngmi
Same. Great game, kino experience. I did expect more rpg things but wasnt on the hype train so it didnt bother me.
Also I didnt care about Elden Ring and Ganker even pulled me onto the gay shazam hate train. Then pirated it and it turned into my favorite game in the last 5 years.
The lesson is to not get on any hype and hate trains.
I had the same experience.
>watch the anime
>finally have a high-end pc. Haven't bought any new games lately so I give it a chance
>start playing
>go for a hacker build
>my character becomes wildly overpowered very quickly
>turn difficulty up
>don't even have to engage with enemies anymore. Just hack into cameras and instant kill everything
>hacking skills do so much damage I kill every combat encounter near effortlessly
>start getting really bored
>look up how to respec
>turns out the game only lets you respec like half your character and you can't reset perks despite the game taking place in a universe where that would be easily explainable
>need to download a fricking mod just to nerf my character and play a stealth/ninja build that forces me to at least engage with the gameplay
>reset my character but have mostly lost interest at this point and haven't gone back
Yeah but Cyberpunk still is a good game
>what tranime does to a mf
>tranime
>Have no clue about the anime
>Buy it because it's on sale and I heard it was bug fixed well enough
>It's basically just deus punk: mankind divided, but bigger and with cars.
Stealth is OP.
>Stealth is OP.
Everything is. It's probably completely accidental but you can pick any playstyle and thrive.
Doubtful. On very hard things kill me instantly. It's comical. Shamefully the AI is so dumb you can just half ass the game stealth mode.
The most important choice is also the most missable tbh. I seethed that you had to pick a specific line of dialogue with Johnny just to get the super secret ending, which is also the most based and obviously canon choice.
and enjoy anime
get out
On my second playthrough this time on pc.
It is alright it does let me larp as a street sammy outside of conversations so that is fun.
I do think V is very boring as a character tho.
Game need a leg cyberware the lets you run fast.
Johnny Silverhand mogs Vincent too hard. It's not even funny. Also V is the gayest nickname of all time.
>Nooo but think of the heckin cost of recording lines more than once
Panam's are probably the worst in terms of total tonal shifts, but some of the character lines are off.
I played femV and she was fine. she was a nobody trying to be famous shes not supposed to be the coolest ever.
>ONLY MY FRIENDS CALL ME VINCENT
>no one calls him Vincent
Lmao no friends loser.
I agree with you that V is a terrible nickname. It's the kind of nickname I'd expect from an edgy 11 year old boy.
I`m the opposite. I followed the game since the very first announcement trailer but felt disenchanted by successive information. The more i saw from the game the less interested i became. Didn`t like the concept of cyberpunk they went with, gameplay was just a shooter and no class made any difference to that. You were a dude-merc no matter what and the choice was how to approach combat.
I really couldn`t care less about that. I wanted an RPG and play a rockerboy or a media or a P.I or something like that and only engage in combat when absolutely necessary.
I almost didn`t give the anime a chance because i was so disappointed by the actual game. Obviously i did watch it in the end and it was pretty good but i had to separate both pieces of media entirely in my mind to do it.
you are a homosexual who bought into the algorithm lmao, just think about it
I like the anime but I'm not a moron who consumes on command
Hilarious when a fricking weeb of all things pretends to suddenly have standards.
Uoh Becca belly erotic!
I need to take her home, and PLAP PLAP PLAP her tight cyberdicky all night long!
You also get to play as Johnny silvergay for 2 hours. So fun. Great game.
>The romance options aren't even half as cute as the girls in the anime.
Why are trannies so fricking obsessed with the romance options in video games? Is it because they are lonely losers that will never get the feeling of a real relationship?
I do not care about Cyberpunk
I only opened this thread for Becca
Nobody is posting her so I am leaving now, goodbye
Are you stupid it's like enjoying arcane and playing league of legends. Some games might have good lore and worldbuilding but that doesn't stop them from being ass in gameplay.
Cyberpunk flopped on release for a reason. Well many reasons. Main being that they blew their budget on wholesome Keanu beacause one of the writers had a dream with him being the main character instead of a tutorial character as they originally planned.
>Cyberpunk flopped on release for a reason.
"Flop" has to do with sales. Cyberpunk, as much of an objective trashfire the game was, was the opposite of a flop.
Cyberpunk 2077 is the best looking game out there. Where it really shines is the story itself and yeah the paths you take are kind of irrelevant but the core story is really good. I liked it alot
>Best looking game.
>All the lighting effects aliasing like crazy and forcing you to choose between the worst fsr 2 implementation possible (TAA + FSR), XeSS (which is okish, but still jaggy) or some gay nonfree novideo garbage.
No.
i hate Lucy so much it's unreal.

More impactful than any death in Edgerunners, including zoomer davido
I thought Jamie's story was really good but where it failed was the world building for him early on. I feel like you shouldn't have been rushed out of the waste lands (or where ever you started) early on and should have really started from the bottom and worked your way up with him slowly getting to know the clan and his mother. I really disliked interactions with his mom and the funeral because it all felt so rushed and knowing so little about his mom made the interactions awkward.
I still cried when he died though and deliamans indifferentce was funny and disturbing.
Honestly, I was glad when he died. He was a b***h.
You had over a year's worth of postlaunch data and gameplay footage available to show you the game was trash, not to mention countless people saying the game was trash, yet you chose to buy it anyway. You deserve to lose your money
I thought 2077 was an 7-8/10, which was disappointing because I rate the TW3 higher and I really just wanted TW3 with a Cyberpunk coat of paint. So, it was annoying to see it regress in that way, even if I still dumped 100+ hours into it over a week and did all the content. It really needed more side quests, and it was shameful that there weren't minigame activities like Gwent that didn't revolve around combat. The world was beautifully designed, and I remember being very impressed the first time I was driving through the city at night, taking in the scale and the lighting, but the game is very lacking when it comes to actually interacting with that world. I will get the DLC, and I'm hoping that it will be better than base game, just as TW3 DLC was. That being said, I really wish it was designed around a similar narrative to the anime. Being a runner with a solid crew (see Shadowpunk Dragonfall for example) of characters that you plan missions / jobs with. 2077 felt very lone-wolf after Jackie dies and outside of Keanu's ghost living in your head and a handful of missions, you're really never working with characters on a mission.
I got all the endings on the PS4 version. I watched the anime. I enjoyed all of it. And you're going to have to deal with that.
>on the PS4 version
Hello, fellow masochist.
Do you people subscribe to some sort of religion where things dont change
Like games cannot be updated to work better over time, because god says so
You misunderstand me. I played ps4 at launch, and still loved it. It's way better now.
Have you played the PS4 version with the latest patch? Never had problems before but the last patch always makes the game crash on startup(before selecting something on title screen) after rebooting the app works but it sure is annoying.
It's okay to be a sub-80 IQ individual.
Just don't get pissed when people with an attention span deeper than that of a cat point out that it's pretty dogshit.
If it makes you feel any better OP, there’s going to be millions of morons buying the DLC which will just repeat the cycle.
The absolute weebotry picking this pic as an example.
