the detail on that blue and white vehicle with the two big machine guns is insane, do you have any idea what the system requirements for the game are going to be?
Dunno about that new blue and white faction. They don't really seem to fit into the setting as much as the mad max and WW1 guys. They have a puma lookin vehicle though, so that's a plus.
One of the dev's very old posts on the blue tit site had a picture of photoshopped WW1 soldiers, Mad Max gangsters and some soldier dudes from Nausicaa and the dev saying that that's what his factions will basically be. Truth be told, I've yet to see Nausicaa influences.

If memory serves me right, I recall the dev posting pics and gifs/webms of early in-development progress in one of these threads. Can anyone corroborate this? I swear the devs used to post some pics on /vst/, waaaay before the first announcement trailer.
can't remember, but either way, this seems to be years away from release. for starters, if you look at the minimap, all the progress reports have been on the same map... which probably means he only has one map
although what he has so far certainly looks great and the features like different vehicle speed and engine types looks good.

Not a dev but, the game is made on OpenRA engine, i think most systems will be able to handle it
It is open RA but he also said in some old thread they had to modify it heavily.
did OpenRA update the map limits or there still tiny maps like in the original?

Just watched Nausicaa with my niece and nephew today. That'd be a great aesthetic,, hopefully the developer didn't chuck that idea.

You're trying, but the C&C community mostly rejected OpenRA as inaccurate in itself.
There are a couple of good OpenRA mods, even if you don't like the dev's modules.

Have the devs mentioned anything about the resource system? Two resources ala StarCraft or only a single ala C&C?
