I've only seen other people buy Divine Barrier just because of how obscenely broken it is. Only see leap purchased on Dynamo and Seven, have seen 0 other active items outside of when I'm buying them.
leap is starting to get more traction in high MMR, sevens, dynamos, wardens, pockets, wraiths, and all tanks buy it (tanks get to initiate without spending abilities)
i've always hated using active items in these games because they're extra buttons.
i don't buy any of them and get by ok but i don't think it's going to cut it for very long since i already felt bad not buying divine barrier when that was overtuned.
you will want at least two comfortable active buttons if you don't plan on being a burden for everyone around you
one for combat like glyph or knockdown
and one dedicated majestic leap button
stuff like refresher can go on a side button that you move your entire hand for

Now with Deadlock, we have already had an enormous influx of Russian cheaters into the game. Has Valves response been to segregate and ban Russian IPs? No, in fact, Valve has now, as has been confirmed in the very Discord channel that Valve themselves run, lowered the time requirement for the invite system. Now you may ask, "Why would Valve want to do that?". Let me explain why. The game is already doing so poorly, that Valve needs to open up the game to more people, or they game will simply die due to the low player count. That is why they let the Russians in, that is why they have lowered the day requirement. This game will LITERALLY be dead on arrival.

I usually end up having average or less souls compared everyone else in a match and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Most people in my games don't farm at all because they're either pushing lanes or taking moronic fights all game, especially the enemy team, which their neutrals are never gone.
The ONLY time this doesn't happen is if I get Pocket where somehow I naturally have the most souls.

The game is really addictive. The only problem is a lack of support on how to play the game. That's obviously going to be added before launch though. After we'll see what happens.
They're not going to launch the game to the public until skinnerbox progression is in, which will make a lot of people who aren't sure if they like the game stick with it.

I don't think that Valve thinks in the same patterns as local Gankertards, i can assume that cheaters in closed alpha are welcome 'cuz a great reason to study them and develop some improvement for anticheat system. I feel it doesn't need to reach those levels, and it is not like Valve needs Deadlock to survive, as long as the game does not become Artifact 2 and the devs keep their passion, then I think it will go well.

Nowhere else could you so easily get in regardless of nationality or friends.
Discord gate kept significantly. You get my point right? Ganker was the most anonymous random system for getting in of all mediums. Everywhere else you had to have a profile on the respective site to get in, and the invites were restricted by Valve on Discord etc, making Ganker by far the easiest way in.

Now with Deadlock, we have already had an enormous influx of Russian cheaters into the game. Has Valves response been to segregate and ban Russian IPs? No, in fact, Valve has now, as has been confirmed in the very Discord channel that Valve themselves run, lowered the time requirement for the invite system. Now you may ask, "Why would Valve want to do that?". Let me explain why. The game is already doing so poorly, that Valve needs to open up the game to more people, or they game will simply die due to the low player count. That is why they let the Russians in, that is why they have lowered the day requirement. This game will LITERALLY be dead on arrival.

to be honest I kind of agree. I don't think Deadlock will be a flop, exactly. But I don't see much space for it in today's market. I think it will probably get a decent somewhat stable playerbase, but it's never going to come even close to CS or even DOTA 2

underlords was able to maintain 150k before they gave up on updating it, and I don't think the frog plans on dropping this game, 50k is pretty cynical

The game is really addictive. The only problem is a lack of support on how to play the game. That's obviously going to be added before launch though. After we'll see what happens.
They're not going to launch the game to the public until skinnerbox progression is in, which will make a lot of people who aren't sure if they like the game stick with it.

Nah, I don't think so. I'm reading some Deadlock-related chats in Telegram, people are still getting invited. I don't think that Valve thinks in the same patterns as local Gankertards, i can assume that cheaters in closed alpha are welcome 'cuz a great reason to study them and develop some improvement for anticheat system. At least i hope that's the case.
I feel it doesn't need to reach those levels, and it is not like Valve needs Deadlock to survive, as long as the game does not become Artifact 2 and the devs keep their passion, then I think it will go well.

There's no way Russians got into a closed valve dev build any way but through a randomized system where inviters have no clue who they're inviting. Especially the many Russians like the ones in the closed dev who are z patriots and cheaters.

E-mail invitation system until June 6th was fricked up and everyone, even you, anon, could got into closed alpha with zero hesitation.
I know. That's what I'm talking about. The easiest way to get in back then was Ganker, it's how I got in and 99% of people here got in. Nobody gave a shit who you were and just invited like crazy. Discord, resetera, and other places with random systems too, did not send NEARLY as many invites. If Russians got in, which they did, the most likely tree sprouts from Ganker. Nowhere else could you so easily get in regardless of nationality or friends.

Discord gate kept significantly. You get my point right? Ganker was the most anonymous random system for getting in of all mediums. Everywhere else you had to have a profile on the respective site to get in, and the invites were restricted by Valve on Discord etc, making Ganker by far the easiest way in.
