Here's my Yamoto ult fix idea: Instead of invincible, make her "immortal". Where she takes the damage still but cannot die from it until the ult runs out. But her life steal and other shit is in overdrive. It's very samurai bushido style and promotes aggressive plays because if you pop it just to run away when you're scared you'll die because you'll have negative health by the end of it.
It gives Yamoto that period of invicibility but also makes her interactable as there's still value in shooting her

Supposedly, his main downside is his frailty but he doesn't even have the lowest base max HP or max level HP. The -20% bullet resist is significant, but most Pockets build Medic Bullets as an early item which immediately raises it to -12%, which isn't really enough of a penalty for what he can do.
He should have his Max HP lowered and either his gun or abilities nerfed a bit so he's a bit more specialized offensively in one area.

mo and krill are good. laning is probably the hardest part, use your 1 to stay healthy, get the stamina item early and dont play in the open til you can burrow in.

Lots of things scale off of spirit: mostly skills. Weapon damage is for characters with higher ammo count generally.

So, how do you get your guide ingame..? How often do they update them? Ive been seeing the same community guides for every hero for 2 weeks now and ltos have changed since then, nerfs/boosts, new items, etc

it's more complicated than that.
laning phase is also about pushing waves, killing the enemy guardian first, ganking, defending against ganks, and deciding when to give up a lane and when to reinforce a lane. the last part is important -- you have 6 people on 4 lanes so you can have two people at least reinforcing lanes based on need.

the third person mode adds complexity in terms of fighting as well as movement. you can use tunnels to switch to some lanes, as well as bridges etc.
the best players will have great aim and moba skills, as well as fps/action game mechanic mastery such as melee and parry, kinda like dark souls or whatever.
she uses health to do damage and plays with risky/dangerous health.
her alt switches her health with an enemy hero. so you can imagine waiting until you're super low health then switching health with the enemy -- which requires a certain amount of timing and game sense.
Why is Ivy so fricking useless? I even watched some people who play her regularly to see how to improve my playstyle, but they're always doing the least player damage, even with a full gun damage/spirit damage build. And don't say "you are supposed to be a walking heathpack" or "doing a lot of damage isn't everything" because that means you are shit at the game
her area denial, stun and speed/fire-rate buffs arent tracked anywhere either and are extremely useful
healing is just a fraction of her supportive ability that isnt pure damage
i'm almost at 200 hours in but i think i'm gonna put the game down a bit after writing my next major feedback
mostly due to that stupid movement bug that will 100% be removed but also it feels like people are starting to play really efficiently and some holes are popping up in the game systems, primarily the gun difference in laning (you literally cannot lane against bebop or mcginnis when players are good) and with how ridiculously safe split pushing can be, especially now with veil walker
if you think laning against bepop is anywhere near fair you are the shitter (or use him as a clutch)
it's impossible to win secures/denies against his laser and if he catches you with the hook early on he can just throw you into the guardian and you die instantly with basically no counterplay
so not only it is impossible to deny/secure, it's also impossible to advance because if you get to the middle and he catches you then you are just fricking dead
yes bebop is frustrating in lane I am not denying that, but there are so many ways to still win the lane

Here's my Yamoto ult fix idea: Instead of invincible, make her "immortal". Where she takes the damage still but cannot die from it until the ult runs out. But her life steal and other shit is in overdrive. It's very samurai bushido style and promotes aggressive plays because if you pop it just to run away when you're scared you'll die because you'll have negative health by the end of it.
It gives Yamoto that period of invicibility but also makes her interactable as there's still value in shooting her

Supposedly, his main downside is his frailty but he doesn't even have the lowest base max HP or max level HP. The -20% bullet resist is significant, but most Pockets build Medic Bullets as an early item which immediately raises it to -12%, which isn't really enough of a penalty for what he can do.
He should have his Max HP lowered and either his gun or abilities nerfed a bit so he's a bit more specialized offensively in one area.

Has anybody produced something like a 'morons Guide to Deadlock' or something. I've tried to watch as much as possible, but there isn't much that goes into things like spirit damage, and how to protect against it and what characters primarily use plain weapon damage?
Also is Mo and Krill a good hero? I like the concept of them, but when I play them he seems to have a pretty shitty laning phase.
mo and krill are good. laning is probably the hardest part, use your 1 to stay healthy, get the stamina item early and dont play in the open til you can burrow in.

Lots of things scale off of spirit: mostly skills. Weapon damage is for characters with higher ammo count generally.

laning phase is also about pushing waves, killing the enemy guardian first, ganking, defending against ganks, and deciding when to give up a lane and when to reinforce a lane. the last part is important -- you have 6 people on 4 lanes so you can have two people at least reinforcing lanes based on need.

she uses health to do damage and plays with risky/dangerous health.

People have already ported in CS Maps with functional zipleines, A deadlocklock custom mode on TF2 maps without creeps is going to be out in the first few weeks and will absolutely explode in popularity once people get tired of the one singular map Deadlock has.
