Sure Nago's 6K ain't that bad, but that's 5K, a move with the same range and better frame data than most of the casts far slashes which can convert into as much damage as most of the casts close slashes.
Doesn't need to be the most annoying thing about him to be bullshit he shouldn't have.
K buttons do have more proration but Nago does so much damage in general that it really doesn't matter, he's basically always going to two touch if he's doing anything but 2S>2/5H zoning. Plus he gets un-prorated 6H OTGs off pretty much every knockdown.
>Removes Nero Chaos and adds a bunch of literal whos no one cares about
You won't find me defending the Tsukihime Remake or any of it's associated products.
I tried this at a friend's house but the D button block/parry thing seemed to dominate our matches to the point it turned me off. Just parrying parries all match
You guys seem like more serious fgc buffs than me, so tell me: which game popularized those fricking autocombos? I thought they were relegated to anime fighters, but even KOF has them now.
And for whoever didn't play Melty, you may watch a combo video and think it's all complicated as frick, but you can do a whole ass combo with lasers and shit by pushing a single button repeatedly.
I'd say Dragonball FighterZ since that game was so popular, but they've been around for a while, plus alternate modes like Xrd paving the way for Modern
melty got some hard combos, pressing one buttons just nets you the universal ABC>launcher>jABC combo worth 1500dmg, you get some lasers in dbfz but thos combos are ass too.
It's just one reason on top of many, we have real experience seeing that if you simplify inputs they'll just blame something else and drop the game while only diehards stick around.
nothing made of entirely quarter/half circles is a hard motion, if you can do one 236 or 214 you can do any combination of them
gamma ray is only a little annoying because you can get a dash from the 646 in neutral, which doesn't prevent the rest of the move from coming out but can make you do something you might not want to like run into a hitbox if you're trying to whiff punish something, but that's pretty minor since whiff punishing with gamma ray isn't really a thing, it's pretty much only for memes anyway
Have you been under a rock for the past decade? Fighters have been getting simpler inputs and baby mode autocombos for years and people still complain?
It's not. It's that they're bad and refuse to improve. Being bad is understandable, but refusing to improve is the issue. Yomi Hustle has no execution barrier, yet you STILL get people crying.

That's a big wide slash right? What seems to be the problem
Blood melts?
>Nu melty
Yeah I can't.
Defend what? The b***h basic input or am I missing something here?
Red bar is a hitbox

Is that an arcueid for ants?
is the red the hitbox?
yeah it's a full screen super
Defend this
He needs it
Nago 6k isn't even the most annoying thing about him. His close-up slash is so much worse to deal with.

You're right 6k is the stomp, it's been a while. 5k is really annoying
Shouldn't a K button have enough damage proration to not make combos as one-shot as usual? Haven't played Strive in a while

No. There's a good reason this game died so hard. The only other game that died harder was dnf.
the fanboys know fighting games are a scam and they dont have enough blind fanboys like crapcum do
thats the good reason
and this is why animekuso is dead and Street Fighter is a king

And FGC gays want to tell me that input autism isn't the biggest reason newbies don't want to get into the genre.
I got filtered by Yoriko's gameplay.
But seeing players pull this out on matches at the speed of light is amazing

>dizzy
she deserves it.
why is some ancient version of Guilty Gear X your first fighting game? go play Xrd or Strive instead
>gamma ray
you have to charge it and it costs full meter to use. both her regular overdrives are already crazy strong

At least if you block it Roa just lands right next to you for a punish.
You're not guaranteed a punish on Arc's AD
