FFX-2 has the best combat in the entire series and if you disagree, you're a pleb.
The rpg side is WAY too easy to exploit. I accidentally became unkillable on my very first playthrough. Which seems to happen a lot when a JRPG lets you decide who gets to have the healing/haste spells.

Yeah
The actual premise of the story is stupid as frick but it is enjoyable in spite of it. I know that sounds like a backhanded compliment but it really isn't, it's more lighthearted and the combat is fun and very customizable.
Rikku didn't change at all, and Yuna no longer had the looming despair of death and the fate of spira on her shoulders, of course she would be more upbeat and carefree.
