im playing it from time to time and still trying to beat it, finally reached hong kong after like 20 hours and there is nothing outdated and its quite relaxing to walk around doing random shit
im savescumming like a complete degenerate though i only had to google nanokey in locker so far, no fricking idea how i were supposed to know that
I'm playing through the Half-Life series right now and it seems like a step down compared to Deus Ex. I like completing objectives in a variety of ways instead of being virtually railroaded into going through one path and doing one task at a time.
>a step down
Half-Life predated Deus Ex by two years, and by Warren Spector's own admission, he knew Deus Ex was an inferior FPS (though still influenced heavily by Half-Life). If you mean HL2 then yeah of course, that one is garbage
As much as like deus ex, it's a product of it's time and now it's outdated.
what a shame
do you have a single fact to back that up?
Yeah, the historic materialism is no longer a thing.
It's all in the numbers
Good. Don't play it.
maybe you should try getting a job
Not true. Just beat it and it was fun. Tried starting HR and the consolification unironically made it worse.
I played it for the first time in 2012 and I think it is one of the best games of all time
Stop making excuses for your own moron brain being too stupid to play older games
Name a better game made in the past 5 years

Biohazard: Outbreak - Main Theme
Don't lie to me anons, you felt betrayed too when "this" happened
NYC Streets, home.
that long synthy swoosh noise in mj12 ambient feels like exhaling
For me, it's DuClare Chateau.
Only in novels do buildings crumble when their spirit is lost.
it was a great level, and that's because it's so empty when you start.
>Deus Ex - Chateau Theme (Conversation)
Killing Floor - Main theme
Anyone know any artists that capture that Deus Ex vibe? Pilotredsun's Grinch's Ultimatum comes pretty close
Sounding good, thanks fren
>When you deny the 17th jab
>the HR/MD composer quit video games
whack
For me it's Paris Streets
Sad that there will never be another game like the original.
